Buyer beware of this scam - even a nice breakfast view and sea area, can’t make up for the appalling bait & switch system this hotel has going on.

When I booked months ago, I had read reviews about the Annex (where the majority of rooms are), and rooms that were in the Annex were titled ‘Annex Room’. I intentionally booked one that wasn’t in the annex and had the receipt to prove it. Yet this was disregarded at check in, and we were put in an Annex room overlooking a crumbling building with tenants looking in (photo of the guy having a smoke on the balcony).

It’s a complete rip off to pay this much for a tiny room like this - particularly when the management just threw his hands up and said “it’s not our problem” at check in before photocopying our passports while we were mid conversation so we’d been checked in and couldn’t even discuss a refund. I guess all part of the scam?

Based on recent reviews, it’s been happening to a lot of others too, and now when I look to book a room, they’ve removed any mention of Annex or not in the room title. So honestly, go somewhere else - you can get way more for your money even just next door at the Ramada. Plus the service is awful - we didn’t have one person smile or say hi the entire time. I guess most of the staff have suffered the consequences of unhappy & jilted guests due to managements poor decision making.

As someone who has spent a lot of time traveling in Turkey and working in the travel industry, this is simply not worth it.

The hotel has a nice view, but the hygiene is terrible. We stayed in a penthouse suite. The room was full of bugs. After one night, I had allergies all over my body the next day. It was all itchy and swollen. And when I left, I forgot a bag of clothes. The room service didn't contact us. We contacted them two days later and they said the clothes were in the closet. The bed was also very soft and there was no support. When we woke up the next day, our waists were about to break. The room service phone number was usually 5 calls, and they might answer one. The restaurant was also terrible. I don't recommend this hotel at all. If you want to get skin diseases, you can try it.

It was disappointing to find out that our room was in a totally different building to the main hotel. The building is not annex to the principal building and is at the end of the street after many other buildings/apartments. When arriving to the “annex” building it looks like a 3 star hotel entrance and not like the hotel you have paid for. Only rooms and no other facilities in the building. It is not what you pay for as they seem as two separate different hotels, just letting you use the facilities of the main building.
When complaining about it they say that “annex” is specified in the booking but this is not true. We had not that indicated, plus, as said, it is not an annex building.

It would be great if the fresh orange juice at breakfast is included in the price and not having to pay an extra for it.

Total disappointment, the hotel does not live up to its premium status. Beautiful views are the only thing you pay a lot of money for. The room cleaning is just terrible. The staff, although helpful and polite, are still not very professional. The location is not the best in the city. The swimming area is amazing, it is worth noting.
