Harman Cave Hotel

The NICEST staff and reception. All staff were super friendly and helpful with organizing our tours and helping us find restaurants. The rooftop gives you 360 view of the area perfect to watch balloons.
Our room was nice and bright.
Breakfast was mix of Turkish items.
Definitely recommend the hotel.

Experience of stay was really excellent. They organized the green and red tours, atv, and also balloon ride as per our request.

Harman Cave Hotel is a boutique style hotel located in Goreme, Turkiye. It is one of the more premium styled hotels in the region. We took the Economy Family Room which was was fairly spacious for 3 of us. The hotel is family friendly. The bathroom was huge (probably bigger than the room😂) and had a Jacuzzi in it!! The bathtub was amazing. All your basic facilities were available. They're really helpful in terms of suggesting what you can do and where you can go in terms of hot air ballooning, sightseeing (red or green tours), atvs, etc. They can even book it for you on request though I'd suggest comparing rates. Surely ask the hotel to book the airport shuttle which usually is the best option from the hotel here. The breakfast is hearty and the women serving it are very kind. The location of the hotel has its pros and cons. The hotel is situated on a small hill in Goreme which gives it fantastic views of the city as well as hot air balloon from its roof top. However, the walk up to the hotel from the city centre is an uphill walk and is not recommend for everyone especially aged people. Shouldn't be a problem for most people. We were lucky to see the hot air balloons from the rooftop in the morning. 100% recommend this hotel to anyone as long as climbing up or spending on a cab till/from the city centre is not a problem.

Harman Cave Hotel is a hidden gem nestled in the breathtaking landscape of Cappadocia, Turkey. Carved into the ancient rock formations, this hotel offers a unique and immersive experience. The staff is warm, welcoming. While our stay at the hotel had some highlights, such as the promised night view and pillow setups, there were some disappointments. One major letdown was the lack of lighting at night, both in the common areas and on the rooftop terrace, which hindered our ability to fully enjoy the ambiance and scenery. Additionally, the discrepancy between the room advertised in the pictures and the one we were assigned was noticeable. These issues detracted from what could have been a more enjoyable experience.

This hotel has an excellent view. Our room was for three people. It was very spacious. The bathroom was large but quite challenging to shower. There was not an actual shower head located. We had to be very careful showering because it could get very dangerous. However they provided us with tea and coffee in the room. Harman hotel is located at a high point which makes it challenging for certain people to get to. You need to walk up hills to get there. If you don’t require assistance and like to walk this is fine. The views are perfect for pictures and to enjoy the balloons. Also, we got there in the morning they didn’t provide us with breakfast because they said we needed to wait to be checked in. That was the only unpleasant part. However, I would stay here again because I really liked how quiet it was.

We had the best experience at this hotel on our trip to turkey, the staff went above and beyond in accommodation and providing us with options for what to see, restaurant recommendations and over all making our trip an ease. From what we heard from other tourists, their hotel did not help them out In any way at all, the front desk people at Harman cave really make you feel valued as a customer

I have mixed feelings about about this hotel, mostly good. My 3-night stay at Harman Cave has generally been good.

The Good:

The Staff - most of the staff I encountered were very friendly and welcoming. They’re very helpful and seems to take an interest in providing wonderful services to guests. From check in to check out I’ve experienced very professional and friendly services. The communications with the hotel prior to my arrival have been very responsive and they were able to have a car ready to pick us up at the airport for 55 euro. And even though we arrived at 10:30am, the receptionist gave us our room because it was ready

The Room - we booked the fairy chimney room and it was amazing! It was totally inside a cave and the experience is truly worthy of the extra price. It has a balcony that overlooks the valley where balloons take off so it’s a great view. However, the balcony is quite small and someone about 5’10” can barely stand without hitting head. Otherwise, the room is great! AC works great and it was needed even though it was in the low 40s at night because the cave keeps the temperature warm at night

The Location- the location is absolutely perfect for exploring Cappadocia. It’s situated very close to the balloon launching sites and is well within walking distance to the Open Air museums, the 3 major canyons (Red, Rose, and Love). Easily accessible to hike those canyons

Needs Improvement:

The two things that need improvement are the quality of the bed/pillow and breakfast.

Breakfast is buffet style and is the same things daily. It contains lots of cheese options, some dried-up sausages, fries, boiled eggs, and flat bread with cheese. They offer to cook “omelette” but it’s really just very oily scrambled eggs, which we didn’t want after the first day. The breakfast definitely fell short of expectations but I guess that is why they are cheaper than others around them

The bed is just a plain hard mattress. And the pillow is a very low quality pillow so I wasn’t Cale to sleep for more than 3 hours per night, tossing and turning all night long. I guess if you’re used to firm low-quality mattress, you probably won’t mind it but having slept on pillow top mattress for many years, sleeping in this bed was just not an option

Because I couldn’t have a good night sleep and the mediocre breakfast, I deducted one star. Would I stay here again? If they have a more comfortable mattress and better breakfast options, I would, even if I have to pay more. But other than these issues, this hotel is great.

Lastly, don’t even ask for late check out as their sign at the check in desk suggests

I booked the Harman Cave Hotel one week ago when I made last-minute plans to come to Cappadocia. The hotel is great -- it's multi-levels and is one of the many cave hotels in the area. The hotel is beautibul but what sets this hotel apart from all the hotels is the staff and their service. From arranging transfers to and from the airport, to finding me a seat on a hot-air balloon when the seats were hard to find, to providing dinner recommendations -- the staff did everything to make sure I fully enjoyed my Cappadocia visit. I wish I had all of their names, but Huseyin never seemed to sleep -- he was always there and always ready to help. The manager, Mehmet, and the rest of the staff were great too, I just don't have all of their names. Thank you all for your efforts to make sure I adored Cappadocia.

Oh and the views from the rooftop were amazing too!
