Traveller's Cave Hotel

We absolutely LOVED this hotel! The room was very unique with the cave feel and theme, bed was comfy, living space had a nice sitting area, real fire place, tons of space, bathroom was huge and clean. Only thing that was a bit bothersome was the floor got super wet when we showered – the seal wasn't the best but it didn't ruin our time there. The staff were so helpful and kind to us, they helped us coordinate shuttles for our excursions without question and made sure we were safe and informed at all times. There isn't a pool as stated but there is a jacuzzi tub which was right outside our room (room 5) with a little bistro set. The hotel is pretty much at the highest point in the town, so the views are second to none during the day and at night when everything is lit up. We woke up early on our last day to watch the hot air balloons rise in the fields below, it was an incredible sight to see. There are tons of spots they have set up around the property to take memorable vacation photos. A buffet breakfast is included so we were able to save some money on dining out every day in the morning. My boyfriend and I cannot speak more highly of this property. Caution for those who have trouble walking, since the property is up quite high and it is a very warm climate, you may need to consider booking a shuttle to get you there. The village is very hilly where the hotels are so expect to sweat and be tired by the time you reach your accommodation. There is a secret staircase in the village (the staff can tell/show you where it is) that takes you directly up to the property but it's close to 200 stairs up so you're still going to be exerting some energy if you're not good with climbing.

Hosts are just fantastic and the location is what you are there for. Fantastic sight in the morning of the balloons over the valley. But with the view comes lots of steps.

Great place to stay! The hotel has a large terrace with stunning views and props to take photos. The breakfast is very good as well. Our room was spacious, really felt like living in a cave! It was also very clean and well kept. Staff was kind and helpful as well. Close to the main strip of restaurants, cafes, and souvenir shops in town as well.

The staff was very quick and helpful with coordinating a airport transfer at an affordable rate (to and from the hotel) as well. Thankful for an easy and affordable process.

The hotel does not have any elevators so just a heads up if you have difficulty with stairs you can probably ask for something close to reception. Otherwise the stairs are totally worth it! 10/10 cave experience.

Great room; fantastic view and Great breakfast.

Group of 3 stayed for 3 nights. Check in and check out was easy and quick. Breakfast place is between 15 to 120 steps away. It has fantastic view to see the entire city and the hot air balloons in morning. Hot tub available for common use and jacuzzi in room. The rooms we stayed (25) isn’t cave room it is built. Other than that I saw everything was cave, cave room. Room service on daily basis.

Easy to transit as they have airport pickup and drop off for a fee. They coordinated well but my friend had trouble picking up from airport and had to wait 40 mins. Rental dresses available for pictures. Wake up early morning for photo shoot, roam all day and come back evening to enjoy the stay.

Great staff members and very helpful and kind. 2 entrances for the place, one at the bottom, 100 steps away from reception. And one at the top, you have reception right there.

I recommend this place and will return.

Awesome location, staff, and meals.

It’s located a little high place so you can see the balloons beautifully from the rooftop.

And the breakfasts were one of the points I want to reffer to cuz to me, Turkish food was a little bit simple and had made me bored until I stayed here.

My wife and I stayed at Traveller’s cave hotel for our honeymoon and it was absolutely amazing!! The room itself was great, nice and spacious and had a hot tub inside! But what really sets this place apart is the service. I asked for a specific room and they gave me the exact room. I forgot my adapter and the receptionist let me borrow one for the duration of the stay. I asked for our room to be cleaned at a specific time and they did it, and they also prepped our bed with flowers and a towel arrangement.
I booked the hot air balloon ride, horse back riding, and red tour through the hotel and it was seamless. They picked us up from the airport and dropped us back. The free breakfast buffet was wonderful, they had so much selection. Traveller’s is located at the top of Goreme so they have the best view of the balloons by far, and they definitely have the best service. Thank you so much to Unal and the crew for always looking after us! Would highly highly recommend!

Great location at the end of the Main Street, there are two entrances one at the bottom & one up at the top higher up. There are lots of steps, but good to get your steps in! The view at the top is great. Sadly there were no balloons on either day we went, however, the hospitality of the hotel staff was great. The breakfast was a good spread but not to our taste. We couldn’t find the hotel so the manager came out to find us. The bed was incredibly comfortable, lots of chill out spaces & lovely aesthetic to hang out in. Perfectly suited two 20-something travellers.

Goreme from a pretty high place in the hotel. so the hotel is a little tough, but Goreme full of scenic view from the top is the cave hotel where created from exotic and it's dawn on a hot air balloon go up is also out the window as you can see..... and Korean-run place is friendly and travel information is also easy to get.
