Reviews
This vacation was a complete disaster. Let’s start with the food – awful. Every day it was the same bland, tasteless garbage. I expected at least some variety, but what they serve here wouldn’t even pass in a cheap diner. Calling this “all-inclusive” is a joke – everything tastes like bad fast food.
After just one day, we wanted to pack up and leave, fully aware that we wouldn’t get our money back, but we didn’t care because the place is that disgusting. We even considered paying extra to book our own transport back home, but there were no available flights. That’s how bad it was.
Then there’s the cleanliness. Or lack of it. Filth and stench everywhere. It’s like no one here has ever heard of cleaning. For a hotel that claims to be a family resort, the hygiene standards are absolutely unacceptable.
And the terrain? If you enjoy hiking up steep hills every day, then you’ll love it here. But if not, avoid this place. The endless uphill walking will kill your legs unless you’re a trained athlete.
In the end, it was just money down the drain. Honestly, if I had given that cash to a homeless person, I would’ve felt better than after spending a week in this dump.
We arrived at 1 am and were disappointed to find that the two rooms we had booked were unavailable. Instead, we were given just one room for four adults, and were told to return to reception in the morning to resolve the issue. The reception area had an unpleasant smell and the atmosphere was quite miserable, with other guests lingering around.
The room we were given was nothing like what was advertised online. It felt more like an outdated and unclean hostel from the 1980s. The following day, we were finally given two rooms, but they were far from the five-star standard we had expected and still in dire need of updates. The bathroom in one of the rooms leaked water all over the sink, and the shower was broken for two days before it was fixed. The shower drain was clogged with hair and generally dirty.
The rest of the room was bleak, with barely functioning air conditioning, uncomfortable and old beds, and an empty mini-bar. We had to collect our own towels from the spa, which were thin, worn out, and felt like sandpaper.
On a positive note, the hotel representative we met was very nice and helpful, though they did mention that this hotel was one of the worst in the area, with very little to do. There was no information provided about the hotel facilities; instead, the focus was on selling excursions.
The pool bar was disappointing. It smelled like garbage, and the tables and chairs were sticky, as if they hadn’t been cleaned in ages. There was no table service, just long queues at the bar, where only one person was serving. The drinks were poor, with just one type of beer and wine served in cheap, small plastic cups. The cocktails tasted like soap.
We spent most of our time by the sea, but you need to get there at dawn to secure an old sunbed for the day. You’re also restricted from walking past the area for Hotel Senza, as guards enforce staying within your zone. The beach bar offered the same limited drink selection, but the toilets were even worse, with ceilings covered in mold.
On a positive note, the food was good, with a nice selection available. However, you need to arrive on time for dinner to secure a table. The staff were very hard-working and friendly, which was one of the few redeeming aspects of our stay.
Tho if you really bored you could check it out it is not so great!
I would never back again
We came to hang out on the beach on vacation. We only went to the room to sleep, and that's how it should be. This is what this hotel is made for. The rooms were clean, air-conditioned. Every day we had clean towels and a tidy bathroom. The accommodation really fulfilled its purpose.
There are three pools. Each set of rooms (1-300; 301-600; 601-9—I don't know how many) has its own pool. The rooms near the restaurant have the largest and busiest pool available. The restaurant is great, there are many dishes to choose from. It's really up to everyone. The staff and service were fantastic. When you know how to treat people correctly, you give them a smile and respectful behavior, you will get the same in return and twice as much. Then you have an incredible vacation experience.
You can drink in the bar a few steps from the restaurant and right next to the pool (actually also in the restaurant, but within opening hours). Yes, the cups in which you receive drinks are plastic, but I am not surprised with at all the guests. Everything went quickly. There were sometimes quite a few people waiting at the main bar, but the barmans there worked really, really fast. When you are already sitting there, the animators will start calling you to the show in the amphitheater. Either there is a fire show, karaoke, dancing. However, every evening there is a disco. During the 7 days of our stay, two discos were paid for 7 euros, because there were already more special effects and a DJ (DJ could have played better when it was paid, because I enjoyed the free discos more :D).
We always found a free sunbed on the beach even though many people are accommodated. The beach is clean, the sea is gravelly with fine pebbles. It was transparent! The beach is just as clean. In the afternoon and evening, the staff clean everything. Here by the beach, in a beach bar, I ate the best pizza of my life. I believe the Italians have a lot to learn from the Turks. The pizza was not frozen, but they had their own homemade fresh dough ... and that made the pizza so delicious. The service there is also great. Everyone is nice and even when I made a mistake and went quite late to change the food I ordered, they told me that it was not a problem, even though I could see that it was already being worked on. I know that they would not be so considerate elsewhere, and I greatly appreciated that in them. It was obvious that they were tired, but they never rolled their eyes if you ordered the same thing 10 times. The staff was really very accommodating. I have to say that we came on this vacation just to relax and that's what happened ... but this hotel and especially its employees made this trip unforgettable. Thanks to them (80% really thanks to them) I have beautiful memories of the whole of Turkey and I definitely want to come back here and definitely to this hotel again!!
And that's why I want to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Kadir from the beach bar, Andrej from the Hammam, who guided us through it and made it more enjoyable for us, Elbet for his kind behavior and service, and Emir and Bahar for creating a great atmosphere and fun.
Simona :)
