Polat Thermal Hotel

Not a great experience at the Polat. Rooms tired and scruffy. Bathroom very poor. Air-conditioning noisey and ineffective. Cold food okay, hot food cold! Bar prices very expensive Sunbeds around the pool covered in dust. Fortunately we only stayed one night. 2 star at best If your tour operator puts this hotel on your itinerary tell them to change it for something better

Worst hotel I've stayed in on our trip around Turkey. Don't be fooled by the lavish reception area. Room was smelly, air con warmed the room., no safe , plug didn't fit in bath, toilet continuously flushed, no shower gel, food cold ( even the food they brought straight from the kitchen) all pool lounges were covered in sand dust , drinks very expensive. Should no way be 5*, maybe 2* at the most!! Rebook somewhere else if you have the chance.

The price of drinks was a ripoff - €20 for a vodka plus €8 for the coke! Whole hotel in great need of refurbishment. The room size was exceptionally good but V V tired. Had to unplug a light to plug in kettle so cldn't see what I was doing. As a supposedly 5* hotel. Rooms only provided small paper cups for tea/coffee. Pillows were like bricks, mattress like concrete and duvet not as wide as the bed. Staff need training in customer service. Quite rude overall. Looks like a huge selection at buffet for dinner and breakfast BUT at closer inspection just the same items being offered served slightly differently! I don't deny I'm a bit fussy over food but, I wasn't the only one trying to find something to eat at both meals. I wouldn't come to this hotel again but this trip is part of an RSD package. The only saving grace was the thermal pool was nice but again need of attention!

Standard room very dated and in poor conversation. Some of common areas also in poor conservation like swimming pool showers.

We went for a family holiday. 8 of us. 6 of us fell ill. Wasn't expecting 5 star Ritz but disappointed. Hotel was nice enough, tired but OK.

I rarely leave reviews, but my recent stay at Polat Thermal Hotel left me extremely disappointed. While I travel extensively around the world, this experience did not meet the expectations of a 5-star establishment.

• Room Quality: The rooms had a strong, unpleasant smell, the towels were very old, and the quality of the shower gel and shampoo was subpar.
• Cleanliness and Dining Area: The restaurant for both dinner and breakfast was shockingly dirty. The carpet in the dining area was old and filthy, and the overall cleanliness did not align with what one would expect from a 5-star hotel. The food quality was also very disappointing and did not match the hotel’s star rating.
• Public Facilities: The toilet in the reception area was very dirty, there was no soap available, and the furniture throughout the hotel looked worn and outdated.
• Customer Service: The reception staff were unhelpful and rude, adding to the overall poor experience.

For the price I paid, this was definitely not a value-for-money experience. The only redeeming feature was the pool with thermal water, which was pleasant.
