Reviews
This hotel seems to have a hot spring pool, but unfortunately, we couldn’t enjoy it since we were only staying for the night—arriving late and leaving early after breakfast. Our tour company selected this hotel for us.
The room was fine—not too spacious, but just enough, and definitely not cramped. It had all the essential amenities: air conditioning, a TV, and a well-equipped bathroom. To reach the room, there were many stairs. The hotel staff helped carry our luggage to the entrance of the room corridor, and from there, we took it to our room ourselves.
The highlight of our stay was definitely the food. Both dinner and breakfast were buffet-style and absolutely grand! There were so many choices, with one ingredient prepared in a variety of ways. And yes, as usual, Turkey seems to have a sweet tooth—there were so many cakes, all extremely sweet, for dessert.
My mom and I always look for: soup, rice, chicken or fish dishes, omelets, potatoes, salad, and fruits. So yummy!
As a pleasant surprise, we got to see hot air balloons in the morning when we stepped outside, so we took the chance to snap a few photos.
We were so happy to stay here, even if just for a short time. Hopefully, next time we can stay longer and fully enjoy the hotel’s facilities!
We had five suitcases, and three of them were damaged. One combination lock was completely broken, so we had no choice but to ask them to force it open. Another suitcase was shattered, and one zipper, which was originally locked onto the suitcase, was somehow dislodged due to the impact. These suitcases had been with us for a long time and had never been damaged like this before.
We even gave a tip, yet now we have to pay the price by buying new suitcases.

Updated Review: Since the hotel claimed that my review was fake, here is a photo as proof that we were actually there. At first, we thought it was just an isolated case, so we even asked the hotel staff to help us open our luggage and gave them a 300-lira tip.
However, we later realized that out of five suitcases, three were damaged. Our tour guide reported the issue to the hotel, but their response seemed to be: “No one has proof that the hotel caused the damage.”
In the end, the tour guide returned the luggage tip to us and even offered $300 from their own pocket to compensate for the damage. But we refused because it wasn’t the guide’s responsibility. That’s all I have to say—I’ll let everyone judge for themselves. Thank you.
Our experience at Richmond Pamukkale Thermal Hotel was awful, and I strongly advise against staying here. Before we even arrived, we were warned about a series of incidents involving luggage being mishandled by the hotel staff, leading to damage. Unfortunately, this happened to us as well.
The bellboy was extremely rough with our luggage, and to make matters worse, there are suspicions that the store in the hotel are selling luggage. When we confronted the hotel about the issue, they refused to take any responsibility. It’s appalling to see such poor accountability from the hotel.
We felt deeply sorry for our tour guide, who offered to replace our luggage out of his own pocket, even though it wasn’t his fault. The hotel should have stepped up, but they completely washed their hands of the situation.
Save yourself the trouble and disappointment—do not come to this hotel!
UPDATE:
Due to this review, the hotel took responsibility for the damaged luggage, and I commend them for that. In the future, advising the bellboys to handle guests’ luggage with greater care could prevent such issues, saving both time and money.
Miss Didem made our restaurant experience splendid. Her attention made us feel special and vip.
The thermal pool and thermal centre are super nice.
