Reviews
Positives, rooms are pretty good, staff are friendly and the food is OK although very repetitive.
Negatives. The walls and ceiling in the rooms are paper thin so you can hear everything, I'm currently writing this after being woken up every day because of what I'm guessing is the cleaners hoovering the bar area above and moving the chairs around to do so. This starts before 8 and it's now 8.43 so if you expect to get any sleep then don't bother.
The shower constantly changes temperature so you have to keep stepping away from the water!???
It's mainly a German resort which wasn't on jet2 website so most of the staff converse in Turkish (obviously) and German and the kids club too. Parents leave there kids to do what they like round the pool and slides and nobody seems to do anything about it and there's going to be a serious accident.
All inclusive does not mean all inclusive, there is so much here that costs extra when they know kids will want to do them, don't get me wrong they have lots to do but most things cost extra when you pay all-inclusive In a hotel to not spend more in the hotel your stating in!
There's a couple of periods in the day when you can't get anything to eat.
What i have noticed is that the British people I've spoken to all got here at 2 in the morning so that seems be the arrival time, and don't get picked up till 7pm on the leaving day, apparently you can use the spa centre to shower but have to be out of your room by 12 and its around 35 euros to extend your room by 3 hours and I think 50 for 5 hours.....hmm maybe some kind of more money making scam going on I think!?
Don't get me wrong I've stayed in worse hotels as the hotel, facilities and staff are good. But I'm more tired now than I was when I came and I'm fed up with extras everywhere I turn in this hotel!
When the guest played, they just watched tik toks and instagram.
It's unfortunate that the issue persisted even after communicating with the reception desk.
Food was ok. Most of the time it was drowned in fat and the amount of reused ingredient from the previous day was immense.
I can’t recommend this hotel at all.
Location was good in relation to the beach. Only a five minute walk away and bar and food down there included with the all inclusive which was great. Loads of beds under canopies available no matter what time of day. Lots of water sports/activities to choose from and the sea was lovely.
There was a bus into Side regularly and only 1 euro per person return.
Entertainment was a little lacking. We didn't really bother with it after the first evening but it depends what you're looking for I suppose. We played card games in the lobby bar instead or went for a walk around the shops and to a couple of local bars, not that there seemed to be many to choose from. It's worth the bus ride to Side for better atmosphere and seemingly better choice of bars. The ones near the hotel were pretty much empty most of the the time. It's mainly shops.
The pool is good and the slides too. There was the usual sunbed shortage by late morning but there were six of us, two adults and four kids and provided we got to the pool around 8ish we had a good pick of sunbeds and always managed to get six beds for us. The towel process was a bit annoying. You couldn't get fresh towels until it opened 8:30-10:30 and then outside of those times you weren't able to swap your towels. You have to wait until 4:30-6:30pm to return them and then get your towel card back. So often we ended up keeping the same towels for 2-3 days at a time. This could do with being a little more flexible.
Rooms are clean and bright. Shower temperature changes constantly so isn't ideal. We were above the late bar and the soundproofing is terrible. No music but you could hear chairs being dragged across the floor all night. I thought maybe I was being a little intolerant as I am a light sleeper but I see others have commented on this too. The mini fridge didn't work very well and was inconsistently stocked throughout our stay. Wardrobes spacious and lots of hangers. Beds comfortable.
Food was lovely. Some people I see have complained about it being repetitive but we always found something nice to eat. Depends on your tastes I guess. The buffet restaurant was hectic at times but I think you would get that at any family all inclusive in the height of the summer holidays. Pool bar also had good food during the day and the patisserie with fresh waffles and ice cream was a favourite with the kids. There were four a la carte restaurants but you were only allowed to visit one for free during your stay. It was 25 euros per person to visit any others which I was disappointed with. I expected we would be able to visit them all at least once. We went to the Chinese and the food was nice but we felt rushed. They tried to take plates away when some of us were still eating.
Drinks were fine. Cocktails too syrupy for me. Some language issues with the staff not understanding what we asked for. And some staff didn't know how to make some of the cocktails. Beer and wine was nice. Wine in the restaurant was often not cold enough though.
Be careful if you have a photo shoot done at the hotel. The photoshoot is free but the packages are pricey. In the end we chose a small selection of 12 digital prints and it cost us £100. However, the photographer was a nice guy who we had a laugh with and we did end up getting some beautiful photos. I am still glad we had it done.
Overall a lovely family holiday and we made some great memories thanks!

Rooms - one family in our party had ants in the room and beds. Management initially blamed them (yes, really), then said all they could do is fumigate the room (with the family still in it!) Only after days did they change the room and still to this date have offered no proper apology. Jet2 holidays also have offered no real apology as it was booked through them. Also, rooms have rubbish sounds insulation and awful bathrooms. The showers just got hot and cold all the time and are narrow and dark. Finally they don't let you book late checkout until the day of leaving. Even then it's a lottery as to whether you will get it and how late for. It's a shambles of an operation. It's not worthy of a 5 star rating.
Food - food the same pretty much day in day out. It's all pretty bland and there are flies everywhere and always sat on the food. They also have ridiculously tight schedules and if you miss it, you just have limited leftovers till next serving time. They offer you a free a la carte meal and you have to wear yet another band all visit just in case you can use it. Fact is for our party of 11 they never had a booking available big enough. Looks like the food is just the same as the buffet line up anyway but we will never know.
Entertainment - day 1 they did decent kids entertainment followed by an acceptable family show. After that, no kids entertainment again, the shows were just boring and totally inappropriate for kids.
Pools - kids pools are tiny and actually just the landing pool for the mediocre slides. So when the slides are open the kids have nothing or just have to use the adult pool.
Buildings - layout is just stupid. You have to use the lifts to get to -2 to get anywhere, say from room on X floor to -2, walk across buildings, them another lift to 0 to get to reception. It takes ages to do anything. The lifts are tiny so often have to use stairs and when you do some automatic doors connecting buildings don't work so you have to take a 10 minute detour to get where you wanted to.
There are much better options for staying in Side - avoid this place
Special thank you to RAMAZAN at reception for your amazing service , always willing to help and
Support us with any query’s thanks bro.
