As a professional in the hospitality industry with over 20 years of experience, I can confidently say that my stay at Akra Sorgun was exceptional. The hotel is nestled in a stunningly beautiful area surrounded by lush greenery that provides a peaceful retreat.

The beach is spacious, allowing everyone to enjoy sunbathing with the added comfort of invidual parasols. Cleanliness is clearly a priority, as both the hotel grounds and our room, which featured a relaxing jacuzzi, were immaculate.
Room was beautifully decorated.

I made good use of the superb fitness center daily. The spa was equally impressive, staffed with friendly and professional personnel. Dining was a delight with a wide range of à la carte restaurants offering very good food.

The staff at Akra Sorgun truly set this hotel apart. Their kindness and helpfulness are extraordinary, reflecting a deep well of experience and dedication to guest satisfaction.

My dream holiday was further enhanced by an adults-only area, perfect for those visiting without children.

Akara Sorgun: A Modern Family Paradise
Akara Sorgun is a stunning, contemporary hotel that's perfect for families. Our family room was spacious and well-appointed, with a sliding door separating the double bed and two single beds. The double bed room boasted a private balcony, a dresser, two bedside tables, and a TV. The single bed room featured a TV, a bedside table, a set of large drawers, and a minibar. The enormous bathroom was a luxurious retreat with a vanity area and a large walk-in shower.
The hotel's restaurants were exceptional, serving fresh, delicious cuisine. We particularly enjoyed the Ocean restaurant.
As guests of the family section, we had exclusive access to the family pools and sun lounging area. Our kids had a blast with the mini-golf, trampolines, tennis, archery, basketball, and the kids' club. The meticulously maintained gardens created a serene and peaceful atmosphere. I even indulged in two relaxing sessions of Stretch and Relax, one of which I shared with my 13-year-old.
We loved unwinding at the downstairs coffee bar during the day and in the evening at the macaron/tea bar beside reception.
We wholeheartedly recommend Akara Sorgun to families seeking a memorable vacation.

Unforgettable Honeymoon Experience – 10/10!

We stayed at Akra Sorgun Hotel for 6 nights as a honeymoon couple, and everything surpassed our expectations. From the spotless cleanliness of the rooms to the friendliness of the staff, every detail was perfect. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the food—it was beyond amazing.

The dining experience was equal to dining at top-tier restaurants. The open buffet featured a wide variety of delicious dishes, but what really stood out were the gourmet plates crafted daily by talented chefs. The flavors, presentation, and quality of the food were exceptional, making each meal a highlight of our stay. We also tried the à la carte restaurants, and the food there was equally fantastic.

As honeymooners, we were pleasantly surprised with thoughtful gifts that made our stay even more special. We also enjoyed a complimentary honeymoon massage, which was of the highest quality, though we did find the regular spa services a bit pricey for our taste.

Beyond the food and relaxation, there were plenty of activities to keep us entertained. I tried archery, and it was a lot of fun—the instructor was excellent, and the overall experience was enjoyable. The hotel offers a variety of sports activities, so there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Our only minor issue was with the evening entertainment, which seemed a bit too tailored to British guests. We would have preferred a more international or Turkish selection of shows, but this is understandable given the large number of UK visitors. However, the hotel’s guest demographic is not 100% British, so a more international selection of entertainment would work better for a broader audience.

Overall, Akra Sorgun provided an unforgettable honeymoon experience. We’re already considering our next trip and want to extend our thanks to the entire hotel staff for making our stay so great—special thanks to Melek Hanım, who prepared all the details for us!

**Excellent Stay at Akra Sorgun**

I recently stayed at Akra Sorgun, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm hospitality and the beautiful surroundings.

The rooms were modern, and clean, offering stunning views of the surrounding nature.
What stood out the most was the service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with any request. The food at the hotel was also excellent.
Overall, our experience at Akra Sorgun exceeded our expectations. We left feeling completely satisfied and refreshed. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Lovely hotel right in beach.

Stayed for 2 weeks in August, which was extremely warm and humid.

Set in lovely grounds and whilst a large hotel, it never appeared crowded (except during the showcase night in main restaurant due to all other restaurants closed)

There was a total of 7 restaurants:
Buffet (main)
BBQ
Seafood
Italian
Turkish
Asian & Steak (additional charge)

With 5 pools, including 1 specifically for over 16s and 1 indoor, there was always plenty of space to take dip.
And of course, the beach/sea which is private to hotel.

Overall lovely hotel, with very helpful staff.

I would also recommend that if you stay here to take a trip to the Old Town to see ruins of Side.

Stayed here for a week with the Mrs and our son. The best hotel we have ever been to. The hotel and rooms were always spotless. The staff were amazing with a few going above and beyond. Our room was amazing, mini fridge was always stocked, loads of fresh towels, shower was lush and the view was stunning. We went to all the restaurants and all of them were fantastic, I'd recommend the steak house as not only was the food perfect but so was the service. Our 3 year old loved the live kids entertainment with the T bots. I'd also recommend getting your pictures takes by the professional photographers. They were so friendly and patient, the photos are stunning.

Our second visit to this amazing place and honestly cannot fault it.
We always said that we would never return to the same hotel more than once as we wanted to see different places but this hotel makes it impossible to not return.

It has recently been refurbished this year and it's absolutely stunning. Every single room has been redecorated and had new furniture and they're beautiful. We originally stayed in a mixed double room but were unexpectedly, and very gratefully appreciatedly, upgraded to a penthouse room on the 5th floor which had a double balcony, separate sleeping area for adults and kids and a hot tub on the balcony. Wow we were in heaven. In fact, we've barely wanted to leave the room since moving as it's that nice!

The cleanliness of the hotel is incredible. It's never dirty! Rooms are cleaned daily and fresh towels provided.
You also get pool/beach towels and a beach bag provided so no need to bring your own.

Food is another level. I'm a moderately picky eater but was never stuck for choice in any of the restaurants. The food was delicious and in the week we were there, we never got bored.

The staff are all amazing. So attentive and friendly. Drinks are brought to you by the pool, at meal times you are also brought drinks and are never left waiting around.

There's different entertainment on every night either inside or outside. We stayed at the piano bar every night as it was lovely and cool. My only slight gripe here is that the evening entertainment there did get repetitive as it was the same 3 acts recycled but we weren't really in there for that anyway. Just for a chill and a drink.

Honestly though, I couldn't imagine finding a better hotel than this one.

Had a brilliant holiday here start of May. The staff are friendly and helpful. The pirate ship children's pool kept our son happy. Lots of restaurants to eat in with nice food. Room was nice with a sea view. Only 10 minutes in a taxi from side old town. Would happily return for another holiday

Great hotel, great staff and great food. We had the best time here and so did our kids. try not to let your wife find out about the handbag copy shop which has fantastic copies. My wife spent £2000 in there buying handbags for herself and many friends. All the staff and facilities were immaculate.

This has to be the best resort I’ve ever stayed in. The staff were unbelievably attentive and friendly, you never left feeling that there was anything you couldn’t have. Everyone went out of their way to make your holiday incredible. The rooms were beautiful and the pools and beeches are first class.

The food was on another level. We never been to an all inclusive before and expected the food to be of an average quality. The food here would be well suited to a 5 star restaurant. The quality was so impressive and everyday we were surprised by the range and consistency of excellent standards. I can’t wait to come back again
