Kena Beach Hotel

The Hotel is very lovely and the food is also really good here. The beach is really beautiful too, we like the atmosphere of the djungle and the palms. But since five days we don‘t have hot water - we always had to shower icecold.. also the toilet was not working one whole day and they had a lot of power fails so nothing worked anymore. The owner said its in whole Zanzibar.. but in our hotel before that this was never a problem. They always have another excuse, why things are not working. The location around the hotel is very calm.. and there is no programm in the hotel at night. The cleaning and roomservice is not doing the bed nice and properly and the moscitonets has a lot of wholes in it. They fixes it with a plaster.. what a shame. The snorklingtrip they organised was horrible organised and we did not see a lot of fishes like they said. They did not even gave us water the whole trip and all guests had stings from jellyfishes. They didn‘t look after us and didn‘t care really. They said its a tour around the island but we were just at two dirty spots in the middle of the sea.
Short : nice hotel but a lot of problems and things to improve.
