Hyatt Place Airport-West/Doral Hotel

The rooms were spacious and beds comfortable (although doubles, not queen). The breakfast was one of the best I've encountered. It can be hard to find one accommodating of gluten sensitivity, but I had no issue since there were always eggs, a meat protein, yogurt and berries, and fresh cut fruit. They also had oatmeal, toast and a variety of juices. The pool was great although we had to go get towels 3 out of 4 of our days at the pool since there were none left outside and the one time we saw a staff member out there it was to do a quick check on the plants, not the empty towel closet. The laundry was great-2 washers, 2 dryers (although 1 was out of service). I can see why this hotel gets a 3 rating as it is a bit dated and run down only on closer inspection (the tub faucet was falling off, cupboard door on kitchen cabinet rotting mildly, back door of hotel would not always open, etc). However, it met our needs and was kept immaculately clean. I would stay there again.

Great hotel, inside and out was beautiful. I have dogs and the pet area was clean and grass was nice kept. spacious rooms with all we needed. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. After a long day travelling We were also pleased by a great staff that makes our check in process very pleasant and fast.This hotel offers a delightful experience with its stunning interior and exterior design. The attention to detail throughout the property creates a welcoming atmosphere. Guests traveling with pets will appreciate the well-maintained pet area with its lush grassy space. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, providing ample room to relax. It's a wonderful place to stay whether traveling for business or leisure.

After spending a frustrating day with cancelled flights, we needed to find lodging. The young lady on the phone was ery kind and welcoming and the price was very good for a large very nice room. The complimentary breakfast was among the very best we've seen. The daytime staff were as kind and friendly as those at night. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel! Our room was nice and clean, staff was very helpful and friendly shout out to Carlos for all his help. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because back door was broken and wouldn't open from the outside (struggled with that due to our room being right by that door) other than that we enjoyed our stay!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was AWESOME and very varied. For those who want to be healthy or those who prefer a savoury breakfast there's something for everyone. The room and hotel in general was kept very clean! Special mention of Elvis who to me went above and beyond!

We were evacuees from the Keys during Hurricane Irma. I Got rear-ended on the turnpike and had to find a place quick for 3 of us. They happened to be open and has one room left! During an evacuation and state of emergency! They were so kind, and the hardest working people. Made sure everyone was happy and comfortable, and at home...Never lost power even during The worst of the storm there. We can't thank them enough. We were so worried about our island (Big Pine Key) and when We returned, our house was flooded to our doorknobs, as 90% of this place was really damaged.....I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat! And they have an awesome breakfast..great bar and staff?❤ Thank you guys for the hospitality and your kindness! We will never forget that week of 9/8/17-9/17/17

We had a group of 12 in town for an event and stayed in two rooms (two beds and an additional pull-out bed in each room). While we were there, the staff was always friendly and accommodating. The location's great since it's close to the airport and has a shuttle service throughout the day. We were able to get to downtown Miami easily through the public transportation system from the airport. If I were to visit Miami again I would definitely book here again.

One thing that stood out to me about this Hyatt Place is that even though my group checked out and I had to wait in the lobby for 5 hours, the staff showed excellent hospitality towards me and asked if I needed anything while I waited.
