Wingate by Wyndham Miami Airport

Unfortunately cleanliness is not taken seriously by this hotel at all. All towels have stains, the rooms are not cleaned properly and the AC smells of mold. We could not sleep well and were coughing. Beds are a bit uncomfortable and feel outdated. The gym machines have not been wiped down in a very long time as there are sweat stains all over and most of the equipment is broken. The front desk staff is friendly; Tyler, Elizabeth and Leslie were sweet and helpful. Breakfast is free and included from 7-9am which is positive but there are very limited options. Scrambled eggs, waffles and toast. Parking is free which is a plus. We were supposed to receive a phone call from the manager in regards to feedback but have yet to be called back.

I booked my stay at this hotel through the Booking App, and unfortunately, this will be my last time choosing this place. Despite being relatively new, it fell short in several key areas. The cleanliness was particularly disappointing—the room was not properly cleaned, and the air conditioning was both noisy and outdated. Additionally, the noise from the elevator made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

The shower was in poor condition, with visible mold, grime, and spots. I requested a room change, but the second room had similar issues. The sheets and towels were worn out and stained. While breakfast was included, it was of poor quality and lacked both taste and variety. The gym facilities were also subpar.

Given the rate of $101 per night, I expected much better. I've stayed at several 3-star hotels with superior service and quality.

I am only giving it a 2 star because the employees were excellent!!!

I have stayed in many hotels and my first impression, was it was a beautiful hotel, but.... You walk into the lobby, and you are hit with a very strong and potent aroma of air freshener. When I first made the reservation via phone, I was told that I only had to give a $50.00 deposit and when I got there the agent tells me it is $100. Deposit. Customer service and hotel should really be on the same page, because when I reserved the room, it was at total of $292.90 and when I checked out, I had been quoted wrong. My total bill was $345.79. Unbelievable.
The lighting in the room is terrible, the pool had no towels, and the shower head did not work properly as we tried adjusting it and the water was still coming out in one straight line. Not happy with the hotel at all.

Livable, but no where near worth anything over $100 a night. The lobby is nice albeit interesting, but once you get to your floor it’s not central ac(window unit in the room) so the hallways are gross(carpet is stained and unvacummed) and humid. The rooms are just ok, played off by luxury appearing bathrooms but everything is in the details! Stains on the towels; rust on the mirrors; the showers have a plaque detailing different shower pressures but there is only one; pillows weren’t even bed pillows they were small and square? Breakfast was pretty good but small. It seems like there are only a handful of people running this hotel, and while they may be trying their best, it simply isn’t good enough for the price.
