Hotel Majestic

This is a place I want to come back to again.

But it's better to think about the time before you go.
Since it's a 100-year-old hotel, you can see a lot of really old things.
There's no problem using the hotel.
However, there's no coffee pot or kettle in the hotel room.
So, there's a coffee pot in the lobby, so tell them when you check in so they can drink it whenever they want.
A wonderful place with a Rococo atmosphere where you can feel the time all over your body.
My sister and I came here and there was nothing inconvenient.

Breakfast was bread, cereal, two kinds of fruit, yogurt, and scrambled eggs.
It wasn't anything special, but it was delicious because I had breakfast.
I'm looking for Korean food, but this was also delicious.

Above all, it's near Japantown, so it's a relatively safe area, so don't worry, and don't go out at night..
Two women... It's really scary when it starts to get dark at 7pm.
Japantown is safe, so I'm relieved, but I was still scared..ㅠ

Conveniently located in Japantown. Clean hotel with comfortably sized rooms.

Not bad, stayed 2 times, one room had a headache the next day when the air conditioner was blowing on the head of the bed

Great location, easy walking distance to most places. Friendly staff. Charming and comfortable room.

Older hotel that retains a lot of character. Kind and accommodating staff. Plus, they don't charge that 30-40$ a night 'resort fee' that seems to be standard at the other hotels in the city.

My three friends and I shared a small queen room here because we were on a budget. We were going to a concert at Social Hall so the location was prime (only a 6 min walk). I booked on trip advisor for a deal and mistakenly booked the wrong day! I only realized once we got there but the man at the front desk was very helpful and accommodated us anyways with no extra charge! I will be forever grateful. The hotel is actually very majestic and is very cute and antique. The rooms are nice with a good view and great clean bathrooms. Only downsides is that our room was a bit stuffy because of the air conditioning not being the best and the water pressure from the shower was not very strong. Other than that a great hotel with GREAT service, a great price for San Fran, and an awesome location. Thank you Hotel Majestic Staff for being so great!!

We spent our honeymoon here a few weeks ago and loved it! The staff was super friendly, the food was great and the hotel was unique. If you want a typical "hotel" don't stay here. It is a historic Victorian hotel and that's what you should expect. It's old. It's antique. It's historic. It's unique with antique canopy beds/furniture and clawfoot bathtubs. Floors and doors creak, expect it. We wanted something different and eclectic and hotel majestic delivered! Highly recommend if you understand what it is. If you want a traditional hotel experience then hotel majestic is not for you. It is exactly what it claims to be and shouldn't get bad reviews for being true to it's claim. Valet parking is expensive but it's SF and parking is costly in any big city that has very limited parking. It is what it is so plan for it. Car break ins are not unique to this street, but to the ENTIRE city. Uber/cab drivers and anyone who lives or works in SF will confirm this. We saw signs in cars throughout the city and signs in parking lots everywhere warning this. It has nothing to do with the area this hotel is in, it's everywhere. Plan for this and leave nothing in your cars, or don't visit SF. We definitely stay here again!

Went here for a baby shower event. The event area was big to accommodate about 100 people. The food they provided was pretty good but nothing amazing. Very nice place to holds events.
