JW Marriott, DC Hotel
Washington, 1331 Pennsylvania Avenue Northwest 🧭 Map
It's an older hotel, and the facilities are just so-so. The service is good and the staff are very enthusiastic. But the soundproofing is really bad, it's outrageous. You can hear people talking in the corridor
Good hotel, good location, not far from Congress and the White House, normal service, not bad, but unfortunately there is no supermarket around. There are only western restaurants nearby, no Chinese restaurants.
By far the worst JW Marriott 'experience' I've had. The elevator system was terrible, often times waiting for 20-30 mins for the elevator, and when it arrives, it's already full, having to wait for other elevators. This elevator system need to be reprogrammed. The fitness center was close and there was no notice anywhere that it was closed. I called the fitness center to ask if the fitness center has...
Great location to go anywhere, friendly staff, and great views.
It's great to be able to spend the night at this place, this time I didn't choose the wrong place. The work I was visiting was very close to this place. The service is also very good and friendly.
Good location. Supreme place. Walkable to the White House and other attractions. Rooms with great view. Quick food room service even late at nite.

My wife and I recently visited DC for the first time to celebrate our anniversary, and Logan went above and beyond to make it special. The hotel and staff were top-notch, and we loved the rich history surrounding the place. Rooms could use a little updating, but they were clean and full of character. We had a wonderful stay and would like to thank Logan and the entire team for making our trip memorable
Had a very pleasant stay at the Mayflower. Have have very good experiences as a Titanium Marriott member at the Autograph collection of hotels. Our 2 rooms were upgraded to a spacious suite and a deluxe King. The hotel has a lot of history and is well maintained. The restaurant, Edgar (after the infamous FBI director) was excellent for breakfast and they provide a $54 per room per night credit for...
If anyone is looking for great deals on hotel rooms head to .ᴄᴏᴍ booked a resort there and they had the best rates anywhere! Great service, great rooms and the best place for a quiet luxury getaway in DC. We love it here!
Great Hotel. Many interesting people lived here. Coffee Starbucks free on the 7th floor from 8 in the morning!
Just plain and simply a very nice hotel. Excellent service and a positive attitude from everyone. A doorman named Frank who is top notch. Rooms are modern and comfortable. Price is what you'd expect for this part of DC. Convention and meeting services are very good. Walking distance to all the major attractions. And the restaurant isn't bad either. The hotel has history and it's worth taking a few...
A very nice hotel, with friendly staff. I stayed here for a conference. The State Department had a briefing while I was staying, so part of the hotel was on lockdown while some foreign officials came in a side door. Very nice hotel room, with a large comfortable bed, and nice bathroom. My only complaint was my room was immediately adjacent to the elevator, and I could hear a whooshing sound every...

Wonderful service. Staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and ensure all my needs were met (and then some). Extremely generous and attentive care! And the food was wonderful! Special thanks to Solomon, Ryan, Delia, and Hayat for the outstanding hospitality and attention to detail.
Beautiful, clean and amazing service. Solomon, Maria, Hannan, Sherman and Robert are the names of some of the great staff. I would come back.
Great hotel! Everyone who works here is professional and respectful! Location ideal. Super close to the Metro and all great restaurants and shopping! Been here a few times now and will come back again and again.
I am very satisfied with the hotel facilities and cleanliness.
Although the hotel is a bit old, it still guarantees the quality of a four-star hotel. The location of the hotel is also quite convenient for dining and shopping.
It is an older hotel with good service, but the facilities are old and the air conditioner in the corridor is very low. I turned off the air conditioner in the room in July, and the air-conditioning came in through the crack of the door, and it was a bit cold

We spent a few days at the Conrad this past weekend, and the experience was truly memorable. The service was impeccable, the staff warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere vibrant throughout our stay. We dined at the hotel’s main restaurant, Estuary, and also enjoyed drinks at the rooftop bar—both offered exceptional food and even better service. Special thanks to Will and Lauren for their outstanding...
Our first trip here and we were not disappointed! The staff were absolutely lovely! Room was good size, beds were comfortable, air conditioning worked very well. They accommodated my room request without issue. Downside was no pool and the restaurant on site was pricey and menu limited. Valet parking was great!
The Conrad is an absolutely exceptional experience. Every staff member we met was friendly. Aileen at the front desk was so kind and welcoming that I couldn’t help but write a review. Also, the property is clean, organized, and modern. The housekeeping staff is doing a great job. Only thing I wouldn’t recommend is the rooftop bar, the staff was kind, but most of the seating does not have shade.
We had an incredible experience with Conrad Hotel DC throughout our wedding weekend. From managing our room blocks to hosting our welcome drinks, rehearsal dinner, and late-night drinks, the hotel’s team was consistently professional, accommodating, and a true pleasure to work with. Our stay in the bridal suite was exceptional - elegant, comfortable, and filled with thoughtful personal touches that...
The customer service here is amazing and the hotel itself is beautiful. The experience has been good for the most part. The room however leaves much to be desired. It wasn't very clean, we had to clean our own table because there were dried strains on it. There's also a crusty stain on the carpet that looks like it would easily come out if anybody bothered to try. The bench where you sit at the table...
Really good, upscale location close to high end shops and eateries. About a 15 minute walk from the National Mall so if you don't mind walking a bit, it is convenient. Service and rooms are totally amazing. I've never had better service. The people working there are terrific and will make you feel special. Breakfast was outstanding. We didn't love dinner. That was the only disappointment. Overall...

We went for drinks overlooking the White House. Although it was cold out, they had the rooftop bar covered and warmed up with heat lamps. The wine was affordable and the bartender remember our drink orders which was nice. I'd definitely come back, especially with guests from out of town.
I stayed 4 nights at the W Washington hotel and was pleased with the staff, hospitality, and amenities. The refreshments and apples are a nice touch, and the staff works hard to make sure each guest is happy and feels important. The location is also perfectly located between business locations & the sites, making it easy to get anywhere.
A wonderful, chic hotel with work with great staff. However, I stayed in the winter, and the outdoor bar was in a tent that was not fully heated, and the indoor bar was closer to a nightclub. The drinks were amazing, and the waitstaff allowed me to sit at a table as a hotel guest, but if you want a more quiet place to have a drink and a meal, you may want to look outside the hotel.
If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels you can check them out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... Had a daddy daughter day lunch on the rooftop during Christmas break and had a great time. I had a honor to photograph weddings and engagement session there at W Hotel. I'm very impressed by this hotel. How clean, nice and elegant it looks like. Also food, views on roof top and staff is just amazing!! If you're visiting Washington DC or just would like to get some drinks. You should visit this place!!
We recently went into the W for drinks to wait for our tour to start at The White House. This is pretty much the best location since its right across the street from a East tour. The hotel was nicely decorated for the holidays and had a modern design.
The Watergate Hotel Georgetown, Washington1 / 50

The room is not too big, the decoration is very ordinary, and the facade is very imposing!
This is the hotel where the Watergate incident occurred, and it has a very historical feel. However, the hotel room facilities are average and the sound insulation is very poor. The gym is actually very good, and there are foam rollers you can use.
The amenities (pool, hot tub, ballroom, bar, restaurant, shops, etc) were impressive and I wish I would have made more use of to be honest. Above all, the staff was very kind and eager to help whenever possible. They really made me feel cared for :).
I'm giving four stars only because of Tyler. He was a gem and very helpful, professional and courteous. Unlike Constance who was not helpful at all and might want to reconsider working in a service oriented profession. After trying to get her help for 3 hrs (!!!) with a room change that was on them (!!!) and me not feeling well to boot she just didn't care, at all. Luckily Tyler came and took care...
Great hotel but beware of junk fees. The room was wonderful, the service was excellent, and I honestly enjoyed this hotel a lot, and the staff were all so wonderful and very friendly. Now don't get me wrong, I knew I would have a charge when I checked out of the hotel, and I did use room service once. But I was not expecting as large a bill as I got, and I was not expecting such a big resort fee every...

Really liked this hotel... could use some love but can't bring myself to give it a lower grade. Bed was super comfortable. Awesome location.
I could go on and on about how amazing this hotel is, whether it's the amazing staff who are willing to drop everything to help or the modern amenities in the room. Everything is provided and the rooms are of the highest quality. I would highly recommend staying in this hotel.
Excellent and friendly service from hotel staff. Was warmly welcomed by the Sofitel team upon my arrival. My room exceeded what I was expecting with more than enough outlets and ports to charge my devices.
Amazing hotel. Gorgeous rooms, large bathrooms, and lounges. We have been traveling from state to state and stayed in many hotels. This was a treat for our family. The beds were so comfortable and clean! The staff was so nice and considerate. We checked in super late and they were so nice to extend our checkout and hour after. Will stay here again. Definetly a 5 star hotel! Enjoy your stay!!
Great stay here. Comfy beds, nice quality rooms, and attentive staff. Only comment is the high price for parking, but that happens at any establishment in DC.
We stayed on the top floor for three nights and really enjoyed our stay. The room was very nice and the bed was super comfy. We never tried the food at the hotel as we thought it was too expensive compared to all the other restaurants close to the Sofitel. Only being a couple blocks from the White House was really cool. I recommend staying here if you get the chance.

The service is average. The shower items are not updated in time. It is very close to the Tidal Basin. It is the best choice for viewing cherry blossoms. It only takes a few minutes to walk from the hotel. You can see the Jefferson Memorial in the room
OK, the hotel service is very good
The room was nice, but there was no coffee machine. Breakfast is more expensive, but feels relatively ordinary. Not worth it. The location is good, close to the pier, and there is a path leading directly to the pier.

convenient to my family who live here superb location for that
Had drinks at the bar with some friends late on a Saturday night. Staff was friendly and the cocktails that I did try were quite delicious. Cool vibe, not aggressively dark but quite stylish. Still retains the old church feel while letting you forget a little while you're inside. Would definitely go back.
Our trout entree was delicious. However, menu limited to "things grown in Maryland". Dessert is $15.00 and not worth the price. Wait staff needs more training. Beautiful room, windows, pipe organ chandelier.

Had dinner at Rake's Progress. Awesome dining experience. Building has history. It was part of Christian Science group. There is a chandelier located in the center of the dining area over the mezzanine. The chandelier is made out of the pipe organ that once graced the halls of this luxurious building. I highly recommend this place.
Staff were all wonderful and friendly. Noise level coming in from outside was very high, and bed comfort could have been better. That being said, had a nice stay, with nice food.

Awesome stay. Greatest service I’ve had. Dennis was there to greet us at the door and the same as we checked out, he took the time to explain the area as it was our first stay at this location. Then the concierge Robert was fantastic, pointing us to the best spots in town. Beautiful hotel, we will be back again soon.
Stopped in to see the hotel and have a snack on a cold weekday afternoon. Like all of the Trump properties I have been to the staff was well trained, the property was perfectly clean and impeccably decorated. Would definitely come again. Would love to stay in one of the rooms that has the circular portion on the corner.

We were here for several days a couple of weeks ago. The location is fantastic. It is walking distance from the Capitol Mall and from the Museum of American Art. Lovely room and decorations, with free toothbrush and slippers. Clean, modern.. just that you need about 15 mins walk to subway. Free fruit at front desk and water at lobby. Pool on rooftop!
While it was flagged in advance by email, I must voice my surprise at the "Guest Amenity Fee" of USD 30 per night. This fee purports to reflect facilities that would be complimentary in most other hotels. Indeed, the rooftop pool was closed when I stayed so, in effect, you are being charged, at least partially, for a facility you could not use. Plus while the gym is fine, it is small and hardly justifies...
Highly Recommend This place is the best option in core DC, amazing bathrooms and all the rooms I have stayed in have been a great size.
our home away from home Stayed here a couple of times now and love the consistency of the hotel. Great spaces and beautiful artwork on the walls. Rooms are comfortable and a good value for their rates. Valet parking is a little expensive but that might be their parking partner's issue.
Everything about our stay was great - our room was clean and comfortable and extremely quiet. The cafe was convenient and the Dovetail bar was lovely - try the Garden G&T!
Average hotel in a decent walkable area. Hotel amenities are minimal. I couldn’t find ways to spend the daily credit so didn’t use it most days. Lovely hotel and lobby bar. However, the lobby restrooms are located in the basement, which was a bit inconvenient. The staff were welcoming, but the lobby bar closing at 12 am felt a little early. Additionally, considering the price of the rooms, they were quite small.
We went to the St. Regis Hotel for their Cherry Blossom High Tea and I’m sad to say, I was a bit disappointed in the experience. we stayed in with 2 beds and the room is small. The restroom is super small. 2 people can not even fit to stand together. Not St. Regis standard to my opinion. It is the probably the worst bathroom I have ever seen through all my stays in different brands. Very disappointing. Service is good. The location is great. I will probably skip it on my next visit to DC.
The hotel is well located and comfortable. When we initially arrived on 13 December 2021 we found the Reception staff to not be welcoming or interested. Everything is ok Clear rooms Services are also good… Lacation perfect…
Very friendly all staff and cleaned room. Hotel located in doorstep 33 bus stop make easy everything.
We stayed for two nights, no room service. The front desk said that they do every two days, but charge resort fee. Tiny bathroom, trouble to turn around and close the door. Older rooms and not worth the price.
The location is great but they don't provide water in the rooms.
The room facilities are too poor. The cabinet handle under the TV falls off when touched. The toilet tissue box is broken and old. I stayed there for three days in 2017 and felt good. I still choose this place. The good impression can only remain in my memory.
There is an annoying “historical preservation” fee of $30 per night. I’m not sure what is being preserved… it feels like a resort fee, but without any amenities or benefits to show for it. And they don’t clean your room each night. Only once every third night.
