Beautiful hotel with phenomenal amenities. Hotel is always clean and bright and the staff are plentiful and helpful. I have never had a bad experience here. There are restaurants and coffee shops in house and drop off and pick up is orderly, well staffed and efficient. I look forward to my next visit.

I was in town for business and stayed at this property. The hotel staff definitely focuses on the personal touches and it shows. I did not stay in this hotel, I merely used the Starbucks in the lobby. A very efficient Starbucks I might add. The interior of the Marriot is quite beautiful and modern. The rooms face the atrium which is from street level to the roof. I've not seen the rooms but I expect that they're quite nice. It's a brand new hotel after all.

Huge conference venue, awesome service and support by hotel staff. Executive lounge offers yummy snacks and breakfasts. Clean, comfortable room that was attended to every day. Staff were super nice & quick to resolve issues. Rooms were a bit small, but comparable to the DC area. This is a beautiful hotel, centrally located. You may use their valet parking for overnight, but i thought it was a bit expensive (almost $60 per night), so i found a parking garage for $35 for 24 hrs, 3 blocks away. They allowed me to take the car out several times,which was9 perfect to go for dinner and Museums. The surrounding areas are nice and safe. Highly recommended.

Bruce, the night manager is amazing! I rented two rooms - he helped me a lot, great. It's the same for my son. The only downside was the lack of exhaust fans in the showers, which forced us to change the first room to one less humid.

Marriott recently upgraded the entire hotel. However, the overwhelming and allergy producing fragrance being pumped into the hotel lobby and subsequently the bar and the restaurant precluded me from enjoying my stay 100% which is why the 3-stars and not 4. The room was very comfortable and the brand new bathrooms boast Kohler fixtures.

We stayed in the Ward suite, and it was great! The suite was very spacious. The pull-out bed was not as comfortable as we were assured it was, however it was serviceable for an overnight stay. Stayed here in late September. Best thing was the location. It was in walking distance of the Capitol and almost all the Smithsonian museums in DC. Didn't get a chance to use the pool at all as it closed at 5pm and I was out at tourist attractions during the day. Bed was a little soft for my tastes and the room didn't have a fridge or safe. A modern, nice and clean hotel. Pros: Nice staff, very clean rooms, nice lounge and good bed. Cons: My room was on the fifth floor and view was not the best. Also breakfast was not included. Conclusion: Even though the breakfast was not included the service and the hotel was great. Five stars plus!!!

Came here for a convention. The room had a king bed and the room was good sized. The place was clean and there are a few places where some maintenance would help the room present better. The bed was soft with two devits. The pillows were very very soft with little support. Still I sleeping was not terrible.

Location is great and rooms are clean / relatively modern. Value for money is super. Air con is either too hot or too cold. Breakfast is alright but does not wow. Their mini and Snackbar is automated as soon as you Touch something it is billed which is annoying.

An un-extraordinary experience at an average hotel. It is very clean, though, so definitely an option for the night if you need one. Later: So, after finding that I'm being charged $81 over with no explanation why and no returning my call, I don't really think they need four stars from me. Lovely place. Close to the white house. Good restaurants in walking distance. Didn't have time to check out the gym. To busy sightseeing. I was upgraded to the 12th floor. So I guess my room was special.

Was my first stay. Actually, a nice hotel, good breakfast, friendly staff, cute bar and in a very good location. Public transport is within 3 minutes, White House in about 8 minutes walking distance. Unfortunately, I couldn't get more than just warm water for a shower, all over my stay over 5 nights. Besides, a good hotel for a stay in DC.

Perfect location right in the middle of the city. Walking distance to everything. A 24 hour CVS right across the street and a Starbucks in the lobby. Rooms were a bit small, but comfortable. You'll most likely have a view of gravel or of the next building, so keep that in mind. Otherwise, a total delight and nice to not stay at a typical chain
