Beautiful hotel with phenomenal amenities. Hotel is always clean and bright and the staff are plentiful and helpful.
I have never had a bad experience here.
There are restaurants and coffee shops in house and drop off and pick up is orderly, well staffed and efficient.
I look forward to my next visit.
I was in town for business and stayed at this property. The hotel staff definitely focuses on the personal touches and it shows. From my arrival in the loyalty line, to attentive bell hops, to a concierge that secured dinner reservations - it was all wonderful. Views are great. Beds are comfortable. Service is outstanding.
Third year in a row of attending a conference held here and at the connected convention center. The facility is always nice. No mystery cold rooms or hot rooms which I have encountered at some conference facilities. The restrooms are well-maintained. The facility is in good shape and easy to access from the Metro. The staff has always been pleasant and professional as well.

I did not stay in this hotel, I merely used the Starbucks in the lobby. A very efficient Starbucks I might add. The interior of the Marriot is quite beautiful and modern. The rooms face the atrium which is from street level to the roof. I've not seen the rooms but I expect that they're quite nice. It's a brand new hotel after all.

Gorgeous gardens!!! Always love this hotel. Its the second convention I have done and stayed in for. The breakfast is amazing, just the best I have ever had at a hotel. Its on the concierge level. There is a sauna, which is great, but one of the highest perks is the vintage decor throughout many wings of the place and the overall fantastic job at decorating and apportioning rooms.
Plus...most important...
Stay one night at the hotel and it was not too bad. So lets start with the check in. I arrived about 2 hours early before the given time for check in and was able to get to my room early. The room was a nice size and up to standard of clean. I was worried due to others review comments but I can say that I notice no weird stains or no bed bugs. The only downfall with the room was that out of 5 power...
The location is great and easily accessible. The lobby is very nice and large with a nice bar area. The rooms in the central tower are fine - a bit dated and old. Glad to have a mini fridge though, and overall very quiet. Nice new TV in the room.

It's a very nice hotel. I've stayed several times here for professional events and it is well kept and managed professionally and hospitably. We did actually have the door latch somehow get latched by itself when we left our room and had to have a hotel engineer come to...
Huge conference venue, awesome service and support by hotel staff. Executive lounge offers yummy snacks and breakfasts. Flora and her team go out of their way to greet you and make you feel comfortable. Nice rooms, wish they had a better dinner restaurant/options. Harry's Pub OK, pricey but convenient. Their room service/FreshBites offer a nice selection at reasonable cost.
Very nice hotel. Amazing reception area with very professional staff to wait on you. Nice location in upscale DC neighborhood. Room was nice but a bit small. Could use a little updating. Will definitely stay again.

Great location, near to the Metro. A very good base to explore DC. Well equipped, clean comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff
Great location and service
The room, a king size bedroom looks small.
The front desk was very nice and responsive via the app .
I asked to pick up toothpaste and mouthwash, they just sent them up to the room.
I asked to pickup more water after finishing all welcome water , they simply sent more bottles to the room.
Late checkout and parking exit were also generously offered
We stayed here due to its close proximity to the zoo. It took about 25 minutes to get there from the train station. It was walkable to many restaurants at DuPont Circle but most were not kid friendly. I wish I had looked at the menu for the Hotel restaurant because we would have just stayed there since they had more kid friendly food options. The doormen and bell staff were very nice. I would definitely...
Everything about this hotel was perfect except one thing.
The service is wonderful. Every staff member I met was warm and welcoming. The breakfasts are fantastic...I mean those banana bread waffles are to die for. The hotel is close to almost everything needed. An Uber tackled the rest. Prime location.
The room was spacious and comfortable. I never heard any neighbors around me. My only complaint...
Nicole was amazing at check-in and I appreciated all her help. Guy Burton was helpful when leaving assisting my friends and I with our luggage. Although the food was great, the restaurant which could be due to staffing was slow and could use some improvement in the overall experience. Security could use more training. When responding to a noise complaint coming from my room, although he was nice...
Clean, comfortable room that was attended to every day. Staff were super nice & quick to resolve issues. Rooms were a bit small, but comparable to the DC area. The only downside was that the food at all locations in the hotel was wildly expensive (for the quality) even for the DC area. Would recommend for food there are many better places within easy walking distance.

I’ve stayed before but never left a review, but that’s not what this is about. What excellent service provided by the valet parkers and its management. Yep you read that correctly this review is for how great the valets are. As a business professional tasked with needing to drive my boss around DC finding parking to pick up is never easy. Never in my life has a valet come to the car. I was parked in...
My room had a great view. The staff was very friendly and warm. I loved all the amenities! My room was cozy and clean. I very much enjoyed my stay here and can’t wait to visit this location again very soon. Thank you Hyatt Regency and Afrouz at the front desk
The staff was friendly, attentive, and professional. The rooms were clean and fresh. The location of the hotel made the value of the fees well worth it.
Walking distance to all things DC. Short walk to union station was nice.
Strongly recommend
It's a nice hotel we had a suite so the room was large but you do pay for it. Parking is expensive but that is always the case with large cities. Location is great as we were able to walk to the mall easily even with kids. Staff at the bar were awesome, I can't really fault the place but you do pay for it so it's kind of expected. A 5 star rating is only for somewhere where you think wow
Love it here. What do you expect it's like in the heart of the city. Not far from Union Station, H. Street N.E. Eats and more. Near the subway and off 395 and the Hyatt offers great service. This is a place to visit.
This hotel has everything needed to be a 5 star but the accommodations. The staff is very professional. The rooms are old and antiquated. The beds are lumpy, pillows horrible and the set up has to be from the late 80s. I couldn't believe how bad it was for the price. It definitely needs to be made modern.

Generally a great experience. We have been here for multiple events and stayed a few times, enjoyed every time. The facilities are dated, but it's part of the ambiance. I was here for a week for a business conference. Meeting spaces are nice with cathedral ceilings, interesting architecture details, and chandeliers. In general visual/audio equipment is high quality (there was one room where we had a really tough time hearing each other). Lots of nearby food options. Hotel catered food is wonderful. Cafe has adequate breakfast options. Building is aging; floors creek...
Awesome Property in DC, especially for a summer visit. Beautiful garden and pool. Breakfast in the restaurant is delicious. There is also an option for lovely outdoor dining on the patio overlooking the garden. West wing rooms have better views than East wing.
Was in town for a convention. We were received and registered efficiently. Ballroom setup was well done. Room was comfortable, clean and well appointed. Appreciated the in room refrigerator. There are many good restaurants in walking distance. The meals served in the ballrooms was prepared well and served hot. No small feat considering the number of people in attendance. Since our meetings extended...
I was there for a wedding and as an overnight guest. The property is beautiful and the wedding reception was excellent. However they lose some stars based on their late check-out policies. There were no other King suites available...
One of the first hotels that I have stayed at in 18 years of my profession that did not feel like a "Conference Hotel". It is elegant. The staff is courteous and extremely efficient and professional. Great Fitness Center, luxurious ambiance, yet not stuffy. A special shout-out to the concierge Nicole. She surprised us by having a birthday card signed by most of the staff and delivering it along with a bottle of wine and chocolates to our room for my wife's birthday. Hands down, best service ever! Wonderful hotel, professional staff, very courteous. Nice, comfortable rooms with a wonderful view. The hotel is in a great location!!! There is a restaurant, cafe, bar! We stayed here twice and were very pleased. I recommend!
AMAZING location and beautiful views. Rooms are very nice. So convenient to walk downtown at night or bike around. We had a bit of trouble with our car being brought around the morning of check out. We called and it took over an hour after being told 30-45 minutes. Beautiful flower arrangements.
Excellent hotel in the right location. This was the first hotel I've started at where the elevators don't have buttons for the floors! It was awesome! I wish all places with elevators worked like this! The concierge's lounge was stocked and managed well and the views were great!
Hotel is pretty nice. Room was fairly small, but it's downtown DC so no surprises there. Despite being small it was nicely appointed and comfortable. Need was comfortable, and they provided a number of pillows with different levels of firmness which is always nice. The TV was a smart TV where you could watch YouTube, crackle, Netflix, etc.
Bed was comfortable with nice linens.
One disappointment...

Place is massive. We were there for a Christmas party thrown by a company. The parking is ridiculously priced, thank goodness the company validated some of it. And also the hotel is a little dated. Nice hotel. Rooms were clean and seemed fairly updated. Staff was all nice and helpful. A good option for close to the airport. The shuttle to/from airport is convenient. Only drawback is it's not close the national Mall and Museums or to the Metro. Prepare to take a taxi/Uber.

Hotel room was clean. Place needs to have a continental breakfast after all it is a Marriott. I was very disappointed the room had a coffee maker in there which was fine. The coffee provided was terrible the creamer packets were terrible. Other than that the hotel room was great
A clean, comfortable and very nice place. I like that it is in a good location. The only thing I did not like was that when we got to the hotel wanted to check-in the receptionists did not know how to open our reservation (which we have created it a week before our check-in day) they lasted about half an hour trying to find our room, until they could finally find it.
Great location, walking distance to metro station and Georgetown is just a bridge. Very friendly and helpful staff. The heater in the room didn’t work though I got it checked couple of times. The place is undergoing major renovation too!
Oldest Marriott still operating, and it still looks great! The customer service is excellent and the rooms look like they got a refresh recently.
Recently remodeled and nicely furnished, but it won't be my first choice if I'm ever in the area again... There different are conventions, parties, and tour groups crowding public areas and charging loudly up and down the halls each day.
And charging $22 for breakfast would make a lot more sense if it was something different and better than every other hotel's complimentary continental buffet!
The top floor ballroom/area has a great view. The garage is easy parking. My company has had events there for the past few years. The appetizers are always great. Decent hotel that's not far from public transit. I would have rated it much higher but I feel like destination/facility/resort fees are very shady as far as business practices go. Just be honest with your pricing.
Overall stay was good. The staff was very pleasant. Good location with a grocery market across the street. A bit pricey. Did ask for room service ,not available in this hotel. The down side is guest have to pay for parking that’s the first for me !!per day ,not included with your hotel stay.

Pros for the room: adjustable base, mini fridge, water/coffee station in the hallway.
Cons for the room: if you extend the bed flat you can’t walk by. So you’d either have to crawl over the bed or incline it up. No privacy for the bathroom. Accommodating hotel for the asshole group of bikers that was there... just kidding, they were very respectful and the staff/hotel was awesome! Thank you for supporting our cause!
The rooms are spotless, with nicer furniture. The lobby has an assortment of snacks to buy at reasonable prices. A Starbucks and bar are also availible on the ground floor, and the shuttle operates quickly. Altogether a wonderful hotel!

Washington Marriott at Metro Center
Washington, 775 12th Street Northwest 🧭 Map
clean hotel. Great service. Early check-in with a baby and late check-out are allowed. The hotel is also in a great location. There is a garage across the street that costs $20 for 24 hours and allows you to get in and out. you just need to make your purchase online.
Hopefully this is the first of many visits. Very comfortable. We slept soundly. The location is perfect. A metro station is a few steps away. We were able to get a bottle of wine and popcorn in the lobby and at Starbucks. Our visit was the worst and the best. Due to the pandemic, many institutions were closed (most of the Smithsonian Institutions). The city was empty. We liked EVERYTHING that was opened...
We couldn't have found a better location! This Marriott hotel is located in the heart of DC and there are many attractions we can just walk to. Many of the Smithsonian museums are in the area, as well as the National Archives and many tour departure points. The kids enjoyed the salt water pool every evening and had a blast! The room we stayed in was very family friendly as they had doors that could...
Great location down town. Very close to a metro station. Rooms were nice and clean. Beds very comfortable. Pricing was reasonable compared to other hotels.
Had an overnight stay at the Washington Marriott while I was in town to enjoy a show and had a wonderful experience. When checking in I realized to my horror that I had made my online reservations for the wrong night! Thanks to the wonderful staff they were able to straighten it all out for me in no time. Had an amazing nights sleep on the very comfortable plush king bed, and enjoyed the breakfast...
Wonderful hotel! Staff is amazing and very helpful. Rooms are very nice. Close and within walking distance to everything. Highly recommend this hotel to any one going to DC

Location is great and rooms are clean / relatively modern. Value for money is super. Air con is either too hot or too cold. Breakfast is alright but does not wow. Their mini and Snackbar is automated as soon as you Touch something it is billed which is annoying.
An un-extraordinary experience at an average hotel. It is very clean, though, so definitely an option for the night if you need one.

So, after finding that I'm being charged $81 over with no explanation why and no returning my call, I don't really think they need four stars from me. Location and cleanliness are great, but not with those prices and frustration!!
Service was great. Location is nice being close to White House and lots of good restaurants within walking distance. Room leaves a little to be desired. Views are OK, and my shower was basically inoperable: was either ice cold or thermonuclear hot. Bedding was good and room size was nice though.
I recently stayed at the Le Méridien D.C. and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was clean and beautifully decorated, with a welcoming lounge for Titanium Elite members. The lobby was stunning, and the check-in process was seamless.
My room was comfortable and had a beautiful design. The staff was exceptional and very friendly, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. While the hotel offers valet...
Had breakfast meeting here. Good service. Good good. Refilled coffee often, which is nice to have at hotel. Love the lobby decor. White leather wingback chairs very comfortable. No one bothered me as I waited for my colleague.
This is a Boutique Hotel that was acquired by the Hilton, so it has that high quality service you can expect from the big chain with the character of a individual/autonomous hotel still around. The room was extremely nice, and unique...thr layout was really interesting and the inside was very posh with full amenities. The bar downstairs has a great, upscale, relaxed vibe to it as well. Service staff...

The customer service here is amazing and the hotel itself is beautiful. The experience has been good for the most part. The room however leaves much to be desired. It wasn't very clean, we had to clean our own table because there were dried strains on it. There's also a crusty stain on the carpet that looks like it would easily come out if anybody bothered to try. The bench where you sit at the table...
Really good, upscale location close to high end shops and eateries. About a 15 minute walk from the National Mall so if you don't mind walking a bit, it is convenient.
Service and rooms are totally amazing. I've never had better service. The people working there are terrific and will make you feel special.
Breakfast was outstanding. We didn't love dinner. That was the only disappointment. Overall...
Conrad's Washington D.C. establishment represents the pinnacle of luxury, class, and wonderful service. Not only were my most pressing needs attended to, but they were taken care of by a staff that proved how much they wanted me to enjoy my experience even for an albeit short stay. The room was clean, neat, and tidy as evidenced by the TV remote placement in it's little home, among other elements of...
Much improved from when they opened. Everyone was very attentive. The Sakura lounge attendance gave 5 star service. The hotel was well staffed. J at the first front desk was the best! He is the epitome of service. The doorman with the famous name was also amazing! It's killing me that I cannot think of the name.
I stayed at the Conrad on a rewards stay and was very impressed. The staff was friendly and courteous, even in the midst staff shortages due to pandemic & a snowstorm. The location was easy to find and made walking to sights do-able. The rooms are luxuriously modern and spacious. They included accent lighting with bedside controls, elegant bathroom design, Nespresso machine, closet space, floor to...

The staff make this hotel five stars-worthy. Eric and Jared (?) at the front desk were wonderful and friendly. I don't envy their jobs given how crazy some hotel guests are. These guys manage to keep their cool and still give stellar customer service with a smile. I just wish that every hotel guests would treat all hotel staff with the respect and compassion that they deserve. Folks are just trying...
This hotel had a lot of nice details, decent rooms and great service except for a few issues.
1. There was a roach next to the mini-fridge.
2. The food was dry and was not seasoned well
3. The view was bad. All we saw was the tops of buildings.
4. The hotel wasn’t very kid-friendly. It was trying to hard to be fancy, authentic or old-fashioned.
5. Some spots in our room didn’t look all that clean
This is a beautiful hotel, centrally located. You may use their valet parking for overnight, but i thought it was a bit expensive (almost $60 per night), so i found a parking garage for $35 for 24 hrs, 3 blocks away. They allowed me to take the car out several times, which was9 perfect to go for dinner and Museums.
The surrounding areas are nice and safe. Highly recommended.
Don't forget to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking your place. This web site will compare thousands of booking websites and normally will have rates a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This place is the best rated in the area. I have been staying here for years. If you decide to stay here you for sure won't regret it.
Clean and the rooms are well done. The fridge is good and the beds comfy...
Five stars because of the nice lady at the front desk that checked us in, she's really nice. The valet parking personnel were nice as well. A lady brought us a luggage cart on the morning that we checked out, she was nice as well. Lobby is nice, staying staying above the first floor was nice, look down at lobby and or looking up at all the floors. Elevators were nice. Rooms were nice but walls and...
My father came to stay over thanksgiving weekend to visit my sister who currently lives and works in DC as a medical professional. I am writing this on his behalf as he has said that he absolutely adores this hotel and finds it to be one of the most well kept, clean, and beautiful hotels he’s ever stayed at. My father is a veteran who served 20 years in the military and has been to many places and...
