Location was amazing, staff was super friendly and the hotel was very clean. We would stay there again. Very dog friendly and understanding of our little nervous pup.
Great hotel. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful building, comfortable rooms. If there were one negative, it'd be the quality of the internet. Not great.
We were here for several days a couple of weeks ago. The location is fantastic. It is walking distance from the Capitol Mall and from the Museum of American Art. It has also walking distance to Ford's Theater. The hotel is in an old building that has been remodeled. Overall, it is an okay place to stay but it is quite expensive. The restaurant is very expensive. You have to ask for a coffee maker in...
I recently stayed in the Mediterranean Suite at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco in Washington, DC. The hotel is located in a great spot, just across the street from Capital One Arena and a short walk from many of the city's most popular attractions. The suite itself was spacious and beautifully appointed. The living room had a comfortable sofa and armchairs, a large flat-screen TV, and a wet bar. The bedroom...
We stayed here for our honeymoon and were treated like ROYALTY! The staff was so friendly and helpful and made us feel like they were genuinely happy for us and cared for us as such. We were very pleased with our stay and would definitely stay here anytime we're vacationing in DC!! The free wine hour from 5-6 was awesome. Valet was so convenient and friendly. And the front desk was very attentive....
This is my first time in DC and we couldn’t ask for a better experience! The hotel is perfectly located to all the tourist attractions, a close walk to cozy neighborhoods. Also offers free happy hour which is super cute! Dog friendly, which makes this stay absolutely pleasant. ❤️ The room we stayed in was extremely big, high ceilings. We even got a text from the hotel if we needed anything. Service...

Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel
Arlington, 2800 South Potomac Avenue 🧭 Map
It was a pristine well located hotel with a fabulous interior and spacious comfortable rooms.
I expected a little more luxury for a Renaissance but it was clean and the staff was friendly. I was there for a conference so the hotel was very busy. I did not get house keeping they ask at checkin. That is fine but it would have been nice to have a full tea and coffee service with honey and sugars and cream and also an extra body lotion as I was there 4 days 3 nights. Bar pricing was inconsistent...
The service and staff were great! Second time staying here to attend a 3 day seminar and the experience has been always outstanding. The food at the restaurant is really good, specially the octopus. It would be great if they were open till midnight or 11pm at least. They close at 10pm and during these trips you want to keep the socializing longer. Last but not least I would like to give an accolade...
The entire experience at Arlington Capital View was a dream. This is one of the best services I’ve ever received at a Hotel. The staff was exceptional; the architecture is beautiful and myself as well as everyone I traveled with were treated like royalty. The rooms were spotless, a restaurant and bar is downstairs. I mean it wasn’t just a Hotel Stay, it was a pure luxury experience!
The rooms were very nice. It was well located. Their fitness facility would be enough for all but the most Abbott lifter. And even they would be able to make do for a few days for a few days. I only stayed overnight so unfortunately I didn't have an opportunity to partake in the lobby bar which seems to be nice .they also have some type of club lounge on the 14th floor that I wasn't able to get to...
The room was clean, staff was nice and so was the decor. I liked the Illy Cafe but it closes early every day and I wish the hours were longer so I could have enjoyed a pastry and iced coffee in the afternoon. The double room had full size beds instead of queen beds which was smaller that I would have like to have to share a bed with another adult.

Decent hotel that's not far from public transit. I would have rated it much higher but I feel like destination/facility/resort fees are very shady as far as business practices go. Just be honest with your pricing.
Overall stay was good. The staff was very pleasant. Good location with a grocery market across the street. A bit pricey. Did ask for room service ,not available in this hotel. The down side is guest have to pay for parking that’s the first for me !!per day ,not included with your hotel stay. I would not recommend eat at their restaurant. Not going into details about that experience!!!! Pro: location...
My overall stay was great. Very convenient location and the room was nice. Staff was pleasant especially Key at the front desk. She was very nice and welcoming, her customer service was exceptional. From helping me with what’s around the area to getting around the hotel. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back.
Overall stay was good. Room was clean and the staff was very pleasant. Good location with a grocery market across the street. A bit pricey but very good selections. This hotel has food packages u purchase with your room if u want breakfast. Didn't try dinner. Breakfast was very good from the menu and served in the hotel's restaurant. The down side is guest have to pay at least 55$ per day for parking...
my favorite hotel. large rooms. helpful staff, beautiful pool, located in a quiet area with many restaurants nearby. parking is $50 a night, which sucks, but the valet takes good care of your car. I stayed in junior. Spacious Deluxe King Suite. the rooms are so big.
Bruce, the night manager is amazing! I rented two rooms - he helped me a lot, great. It's the same for my son. The only downside was the lack of exhaust fans in the showers, which forced us to change the first room to one less humid.

The king suits are adorable. Lots of room for spreading out. The bathroom was so cute. Nicely updated. Great water pressure. You can drop your postcards from the mail chute on any floor, which was pretty cool. The only issue we had was the legs on the pullout sofa were worn out and wouldn’t stay put. The garage is super well attended, everything stays on lockdown for safety, cvs next door, and there...
Cute suite! Love older buildings! The living/dining area was large. Comfortable bedroom space. Comfortable bed. Only complaint was the heavy smell of cigarette smoke when we first walked into the suite. The room was supposed to be non-smoking! We were compensated for the smelly inconvenience.
Staying at the State Plaza Hotel was a great experience for my family!! We were in DC for vacation and wanted a clean, good hotel but not too fancy or pretentious and in a central location with easy walking to DC museums and sites. State met our expectations! The room was a suite, and very clean with a nice bathroom, and a TV. The best part about the room was definitely the kitchen. It came with pots...
This place is not bad but I can tell it’s very old school considering the way the thermostats look inside the rooms. On their website, It may say that their break-lunch-dinner may be free but it’s not and one of the workers at the restaurant had the audacity to ask us if we had a free voucher or residence of the hotel… I guess we were new faces that they have not seen but they should NEVER ask anyone...
Great hotel at a reasonable price. Room was spacious, very clean and beds we're comfortable. Restaurant was also decent.
Beautiful rooms and great bed. Staff were super efficient. Could walk to all the sites easily enough. Would stay here again if we ever visit.

I absolutely love this hotel! The renovations make it easily one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at. The new look is very chic and modern. The accessible rooms are very roomy and would recommend getting over a regular room due to it being twice the size. I took One star away because I don’t like the concrete floors.
Small rooms. No coffee machine. When I checked in, they gave me a room that was occupied-embarrassing! Quickly fixed, but could have been and issue. Very nice, helpful staff. The highlights were the cucumber water in the lobby and a well-stocked bar with comfy chairs on the main floor.
The room was small but adequate. Attempted to use the fitness center in the late evening but it was full of children playing on the equipment. Parents were present but appeared to be playing on their phones. Front desk staff did not seem to think it was a problem. Highly recommend trying the almond "brioche" French toast for breakfast at the hotel restaurant.
Very nice hotel. Dog friendly, located in DuPont circle, in the heart of the action. Cool bar with food, nice bartender. Pretty breakfast area, good presentation on food. Parking is valet, not my favorite. Well appointed rooms and bathrooms. Looks like they will be adding or updating the restaurant as we were informed. Pick this place and have fun, because you will.
Great hotel! Very friendly and attentive staff; tasty food and drinks; clean and cozy rooms. The lobby/lounge/bar area is huge and very comfortable for hanging out and relaxing with a drink whenever you need some time away from your room. The location is perfect if you're looking to walk to Dupont Circle and its surrounding restaurants. I'd definitely come back to this spot the next time I'm in D.C...
One of my go-to hotels in DC. Clean, decent-sized rooms. Hip lobby with Italian coffee, and great location south of DuPont circle - close enough to run on the mall, great restaurant scene for supper. If you're a Marriott Rewards Gold, the concierge lounge here generally puts out a good spread for breakfast. Valet park only, about a half mile walk from the nearest Metro stations. The hotel location was amazing and super close to a lot of DC attractions. But was disappointed to find out there was no housekeeping included. We had a great experience with this hotel. Our stay was short due to a layover at the airport. We got in late, but the shuttle still picked us up. The front desk staff were very nice and accommodated us well. This was nice because we had been in airports all day and were very tired. We left early that morning and the shuttle didn’t miss a beat in getting us back to the airport on time. Great job!
Really nice hotel.
Great place to stay near Regan Airport. Easy to get to, has its own parking.
This hotel was exceptionally clean. Parking was covered and easy access. We room serviced one night and the food was phenomenal. We really enjoyed our five day stay Memorial Day weekend. Access to the airport was five minutes away. This hotel has to be the best in town. We were at our nieces graduation and we will be back next May for our younger nieces graduation as well.

I left my smartwatch in my room when I checked out. I realized it as soon as I got to the airport. I called the hotel and told them where I left it. By the time I landed home I had a voice-mail stating they found my watch. I emailed them the shipping label and my watch made it quickly and safely back to my hands!!!! THANK YOU!!!
Up until this past weekend it had been years since I've stayed at this location, and it is still a very decent place to stay. Everything was clean and orderly and I love having a stocked kitchenette in the room. They still have a full buffet breakfast downstairs too. The staff was SUPER helpful. In good weather there are a lot of restaurants in walking distance. The only "negatives" I noticed were...
We were so happy with this hotel we stayed here twice. Rooms are clean and comfy. Breakfast bar is good and something we looked forward to in the mornings. Stayed here the other night, it was around 1am when we checked in. The front desk associate was very helpful and kind. Overall a good hotel, located within walking distance from the metro station and restaurants. Check-in and out were slow, but the rest of the experience was great. Their breakfast is delicious, and the gym (on the 3rd floor) is spacious. Rooms are spacious with comfy furniture.

A lovely oasis in the middle of bustling Georgetown. We hosted an engagement dinner there in the restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was superb. The chef and her son came out to the table afterwards for a really special touch.
From the first phone call for our reservation to check in, Nicole at the front desk was a rock star! This was my husband and I’s first date night after 8 weeks without our newborn. The valet guys were friendly and efficient and then Nicole was able to get us early check in to a super cute room. Great value, great views, perfect for a little getaway.
Well located. A good deal if you get a good price. Rooms are a bit worn
It was just the overnight stay at Georgetown Inn it was fairly good I have to wait till I go back to give a better judgement
Really nice room. Awesome location. Walking distance to everything. The staff is really courteous and professional. It's my new go to place in the DC area. I'll be back.
Clean room and good service. Lock system was down when we arrived (meaning no new keys available for 2hrs) but the concierge walked us to our room and let us in so no big deal. Great location for shopping

The only Holiday Inn in Crystal City, located at the Southern end of the main strip. It's an older property, but they've made a good effort to maintain it and keep it in good shape. Staff helpful and nice, my luggage was missing so they helped me out. Free coffee and 5 dollar happy hour. Nice location and unexpectedly super nice atmosphere. Phenomenal location and hotel. Nothing fancy, but convenient and reasonable. Many school groups stay here, so use caution if not able to tolerate that.
Average mid level hotel. No special amenities or spectacular rooms. Staff is very nice and willing to go above and beyond to keep you happy. Shuttle service offered to metro and airport every 20 minutes.

Great hotel in a convenient location. I have stayed here several times and am always impressed with the quality of my stay. The staff in the executive lounge is outstanding, every one of them. Perfect location on top of Ballston metro, and next to multiple restaurants. Basic breakfast buffet was provided (eggs, sausage, fruit, pancakes, bagels, etc.). Front desk staff was awesome - good recommendations for local area. Rooms are slightly dated, but very clean.
Probably my favorite Hilton location around DC now. The customer service was great. The breakfast was great and had a real selection that was actually included. The executive lounge was nice. This location is right at the Ballston Metro station which made it VERY convenient. I will happily stay here again.

I also like the location. Very green with a beautiful church opposite and only a 20 minute walk from The White House and everywhere else.
This was my second stay at the Baron Hotel. It is one of the older inns around the D.C. area and it's not far from shops and metro. Overall a good hotel to stay. Some of the staffs are very very helpful. A few are a bit cold though. Great location. Good service. Satisfactory and safe.
Desk person specifically said specialty coffees like mocha and latte were available for room service but that was false. We were charged for a valet parking night we never used; that's uncool. The State Department had a briefing while I was staying, so part of the hotel was on lockdown while some foreign officials came in a side door. Very nice hotel room, with a large comfortable bed, and nice bathroom. My only complaint was my room was immediately adjacent to the elevator, and I could hear a whooshing sound every...

Generally a great experience. We have been here for multiple events and stayed a few times, enjoyed every time. The facilities are dated, but it's part of the ambiance. The food is excellent, especially recommend the Sunday brunch. They put out a very good spread. A little pricey, but we'll done and worth it for those special visitors from out of town. The venue is perfect for special events, picturesque...
I was here for a week for a business conference. Meeting spaces are nice with cathedral ceilings, interesting architecture details, and chandeliers. In general visual/audio equipment is high quality (there was one room where we had a really tough time hearing each other). Lots of nearby food options. Hotel catered food is wonderful. Cafe has adequate breakfast options. Building is aging; floors creek...
Awesome Property in DC, especially for a summer visit. Beautiful garden and pool. Breakfast in the restaurant is delicious. There is also an option for lovely outdoor dining on the patio overlooking the garden. West wing rooms have better views than East wing.
Was in town for a convention. We were received and registered efficiently. Ballroom setup was well done. Room was comfortable, clean and well appointed. Appreciated the in room refrigerator. There are many good restaurants in walking distance. The meals served in the ballrooms was prepared well and served hot. No small feat considering the number of people in attendance. Since our meetings extended...
I was there for a wedding and as an overnight guest. The property is beautiful and the wedding reception was excellent. However they lose some stars based on their late check-out policies. We arrived at 2pm and were initially told that the people in our reserved room from the night prior weren't checking out until 4pm and we would have to wait for them to leave. There were no other King suites available...
One of the first hotels that I have stayed at in 18 years of my profession that did not feel like a "Conference Hotel". It is elegant. The staff is courteous and extremely efficient and professional. The handsome guest room was spacious, very clean and had enough closet space. The room service is 24/7 and the menu is expansive. The food was excellent.
