The Mayflower Hotel, Autograph Collection, Washington1 / 50

Washington, 1127 Connecticut Avenue Northwest 🧭 Map
My wife and I recently visited DC for the first time to celebrate our anniversary, and Logan went above and beyond to make it special. The hotel and staff were top-notch, and we loved the rich history surrounding the place. Rooms could use a little updating, but they were clean and full of character. We had a wonderful stay and would like to thank Logan and the entire team for making our trip memorable
Had a very pleasant stay at the Mayflower. Have have very good experiences as a Titanium Marriott member at the Autograph collection of hotels. Our 2 rooms were upgraded to a spacious suite and a deluxe King. The hotel has a lot of history and is well maintained. The restaurant, Edgar (after the infamous FBI director) was excellent for breakfast and they provide a $54 per room per night credit for...
If anyone is looking for great deals on hotel rooms head to .ᴄᴏᴍ booked a resort there and they had the best rates anywhere! Great service, great rooms and the best place for a quiet luxury getaway in DC. We love it here!
Great Hotel. Many interesting people lived here. Coffee Starbucks free on the 7th floor from 8 in the morning!
Just plain and simply a very nice hotel. Excellent service and a positive attitude from everyone. A doorman named Frank who is top notch. Rooms are modern and comfortable. Price is what you'd expect for this part of DC. Convention and meeting services are very good. Walking distance to all the major attractions. And the restaurant isn't bad either. The hotel has history and it's worth taking a few...
A very nice hotel, with friendly staff. I stayed here for a conference. The State Department had a briefing while I was staying, so part of the hotel was on lockdown while some foreign officials came in a side door. Very nice hotel room, with a large comfortable bed, and nice bathroom. My only complaint was my room was immediately adjacent to the elevator, and I could hear a whooshing sound every...

Room was lovely. Location was great. Service was lacking. One front desk person has a less than pleasant attitude when trying to sort out a key/access issue. My main issue was at the spa. I paid $600 on treatments. I was leaving to have brunch upstairs and asked if I could come back and use the amenities for a little. The desk woman basically said no. Imagine paying that much and being treated like...
We love it here we came in town with the grandkids for the weekend. It’s easy to navigate the city and get to the monuments. Our first time here was 2 years ago and we walked everywhere. This time we drove around given their ages. The club level remains very friendly but it has changed a bit in what they serve but it is still a high quality selection of food and beverage items. On Sunday they had a...
The Ritz-Carlton Georgetown, Washington, D.C. is a luxurious and convenient hotel in the historic Georgetown neighborhood. The rooms are spacious and elegant, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the hotel offers a variety of dining options. The location is perfect for both leisure and business travelers. The hotel is a bit pricey, but the level of service and the quality of the facilities make...
Great location and very helpful staff. A welcome contrast to a recent stay at the Ritz Carlton South Beach, which almost put me off Ritz Carltons altogether. Luckily I gave it another try for this property which had previously been a winner. It was again.
I love staying with the Ritz Carlton, and this location in Georgetown is one of my absolutely favorites. The accommodations are flawless, and the employees are beyond gracious and kind. Such a luxurious experience!
Love this place! Nice boutique spa and friendly staff.

The staff at the reception were very welcoming especially Seth. They allowed an early check-in. The free WiFi was very good. The sky dome
Cooper and Seth made our stay amazing. Honestly I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and this stay is the best experience ever! Let's start with the way I was greeted when I checked in. Cooper went out of his way to explain anything and everything we had questions sending us on our way with cookies and drinks. Kindness means everything in today's world. While out in town on a Sunday Seth check up...
We got our room online through a third party website. We paid 1/2 of what the room cost. The parking garage was tight, cars were packed in like sardines. The labels on the elevator were a little confusing. Lobby and lower level both had "L"s. The lobby was gorgeous with a full bar and as promised fresh cookies. The room was clean and smelled great. We had a mini fridge but no microwave. The view...
Like the Skydome restaurant unfortunately it has been upgraded to very expensive from quite reasonable as I remember it in the past. While it used to be open earlier it only opens for dinner now and the prices are high. Fantastic views on a revolving dome. You are paying for the view and it's a good one. Fabulous views of the Pentagon the Washington Monument, and many other things.
I was in Washington DC as a chaperone with a youth group. The hotel was quiet and clean. The hotel was convenient to many places we wanted to visit. The only complaint is that buses were not allowed on the hotel property so we had to unload around parked cars on the street and then carry our baggage to the hotel.
Pretty nice hotel! Near the airport which my grandson loved seeing the planes. Was hard finding parking in the garage one evening and it was pretty tight. 2 night stay and was only able to get cookies when we checked in....other times they were out.

Such a nice property! The staff was super friendly from the front desk, to the breakfast crew - every employee we encountered greeted us with a smile. So refreshing! While this building is very old with lots of history, the rooms are updated and modern. Our room was comfortable with lots of space for luggage, etc. The mini fridge came in very handy. The shower was large, spotlessly clean, with great...
I've stayed at this hotel twice now and it is a great choice if you want to visit the museums and monuments. It's a short walk to the mall and is surrounded by great restaurants. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet is pretty good and not too expensive. The rooms are clean. This stay we got an odd corner room that a bit weirdly shaped and the floor creaked a lot. But it had...
The hotel was clean and in a great location, and I will definitely stay here again. The reason I’m writing this is to comment on how amazing every single person was that I came in contact with. I really felt treated like a big shot and the service is extraordinary! When you walk through the front door and every time we walked in and out somebody said thank you or hello and greeted us at the front desk...
Great hotel, friendly staff and awesome location. A few blocks from a ton of museums, and in the center of some of the best food DC has to offer. I highly recommend trying The Smith and NOPA bot right across the street. Hotel itself was quiet enough and affordable. There's a pool and jacuzzi if that is your jam, as well as a fitness center, full breakfast and Starbucks!
We drove their and had a car, so we decided to use the valet service offered by the hotel. The valet was very nice but he rushed us. He kept telling one of us to go check-in and the other to empty the car (in a polite manner), but in all the hustle and bustle we forgot some stuff in the car. Anyways the hotel was clean and staff was great. They had a valet service for our bags too (on the day of check...
This hotel is built out of an old bank and is really clean, elegant and comfortable. My wife and I stayed here in a suite with two small kids and the room price was relatively affordable. It's right across the street from the International Spy Museum and several good restaurants including Shake Shack. I would have given it five stars, but the room service and breakfast menus are ludicrously expensive...

Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel
Arlington, 2800 South Potomac Avenue 🧭 Map
It was a pristine well located hotel with a fabulous interior and spacious comfortable rooms.
I expected a little more luxury for a Renaissance but it was clean and the staff was friendly. I was there for a conference so the hotel was very busy. I did not get house keeping they ask at checkin. That is fine but it would have been nice to have a full tea and coffee service with honey and sugars and cream and also an extra body lotion as I was there 4 days 3 nights. Bar pricing was inconsistent...
The service and staff were great! Second time staying here to attend a 3 day seminar and the experience has been always outstanding. The food at the restaurant is really good, specially the octopus. It would be great if they were open till midnight or 11pm at least. They close at 10pm and during these trips you want to keep the socializing longer. Last but not least I would like to give an accolade...
The entire experience at Arlington Capital View was a dream. This is one of the best services I’ve ever received at a Hotel. The staff was exceptional; the architecture is beautiful and myself as well as everyone I traveled with were treated like royalty. The rooms were spotless, a restaurant and bar is downstairs. I mean it wasn’t just a Hotel Stay, it was a pure luxury experience!
The rooms were very nice. It was well located. Their fitness facility would be enough for all but the most Abbott lifter. And even they would be able to make do for a few days for a few days. I only stayed overnight so unfortunately I didn't have an opportunity to partake in the lobby bar which seems to be nice .they also have some type of club lounge on the 14th floor that I wasn't able to get to...
The room was clean, staff was nice and so was the decor. I liked the Illy Cafe but it closes early every day and I wish the hours were longer so I could have enjoyed a pastry and iced coffee in the afternoon. The double room had full size beds instead of queen beds which was smaller that I would have like to have to share a bed with another adult.

Great location, great room, great service. The only thing I would say might be a negative is you really can't have more than 2 people in these rooms. It's just too tight. But they are cool rooms, they are clean, they are in a great location and I would absolutely stay here again if I'm on a trip solo or with my spouse.
The rooms are definitely smaller than a “standard” hotel room but worked just fine for two people. The whole bathroom situation was rough (glass walls meant that water seeped out onto the floor, very little privacy, poor water pressure and extremely hard water in the shower) but the iPad controlled room was nice, with built in chromecast and some fun lighting options. Staff was really nice and helpful...
We stayed for 4 nights and everything about the hotel was nice. Starting with a warm welcome from the reception staff member, the cleaners which made every wish possible, up to the breakfast which was small but everything you could ask for! Thanks a lot to the whole team for making our hotel experience very nice. :) Best regards, Kim, Thomas & Robby
Lovely little spot - emphasis on little. This room reminds me of a cruise ship. Very small and very minimal. If you’re someone who needs white noise, or a fan blowing, this isn’t for you. The rooms lowest temp is 64 degrees and then you can’t feel any wind or fan blowing at all. Showers are nice and have the products and location and all. The fridge is small and there is only 1 drawer and 2 hangers...
A contemporary, party-vibe hotel on walking distance to many popular sights in the city. A stones throw from the Smithsonian. We stayed in a double standard with King size bed. We chose facing the courtyard for more silence which worked fine until the freight trains passes by... (didn't happen very often though). The bed could sleep three but the room was only big enough for one. It's very "compact...
Overall it was a good hotel, we really enjoyed the bar and breakfast. The shower's door has some gap so water can get out, for a longer stay it could be annoying. I also didn't feel comfortable using Shampoo/body wash to wash my hair. And no conditionner. Everyone at the hotel were helpful and nice. The check-in on the tablet is fine but since you still need to talk to someone to check ID and credit...

Comfy, quaint, closets could be a touch bigger, but its best feature is the staff! Front desk in particular, especially the two guys with wavy hair that kinda look alike. Very sweet staff on the roof top, very nice at the restaurant, rooms are very clean, so housekeeping...
We just spent two wonderful nights at this hotel and had the best stay! The staff were incredibly friendly. The food was outstanding and room service was impressively fast. Checking into this hotel was an unpleasant experience. It took over 30 minutes. I booked direction through Marriott. I've been to this hotel for a few days. The position is very good, the rooms are good and spacious enough. Breakfast options are in decently big servings, which I appreciated. Never started my day hungry. However something not really good happened and I think is 50% my fault 50% the hotel's fault. When I left I forgot a sweatshirt in my room's closet. Staff was super nice! They were able to accommodate my every need and request. Rooftop was a nice touch, the pool is small but perfect for a hot day. The staff was fabulous - a big thanks especially to Elias at the front desk and Julio in the garage.

We moved in today and despite us never having rented and not knowing what we were doing throughout the entire process, everyone was super helpful, especially Cristina, our leasing agent!
I have now lived in the Flats for one year and just signed a new lease. I could not be happier. I lived in the Flats at Dupont Circle for four years, and only left because I was relocating to another city. I can't say enough good things about the building and staff. And he did, but so did the other...
Great place to stay, will more than likely stay here again when going back to DC. It’s in a great spot for restaurants and so close to the metro. Something to be aware of that is common in the city is they have valet parking at a price, and while there are parking garages/lots around as well, it still was between the $30-40 range over night. For me this was not a dealbreaker as I had anticipated this...
I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights for a conference. The location and the service is great. The rooms are clean and very nice and the staff are very nice. I had my car and used valet parking. Javon was very helpful and parked and brought my car a couple of times when I needed it. I greatly appreciate his service. I will definitely go back to this hotel and will recommend my friends and family.
I recently stayed at the Thompson DC and had a fantastic experience. The property is well-run, and everyone was super friendly. Hip and mid century modern decor, situated in a pretty good location in the navy yard district. We had no problem finding parking nearby and plenty of things to do in the area. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated, and service was great. They cleaned our room even though we came back at odd hours to take a nap, which was hugely appreciated. I would definitely recommend.

The king suits are adorable. Lots of room for spreading out. The bathroom was so cute. Nicely updated. Great water pressure. You can drop your postcards from the mail chute on any floor, which was pretty cool. The only issue we had was the legs on the pullout sofa were worn out and wouldn’t stay put. The garage is super well attended, everything stays on lockdown for safety, cvs next door, and there...
Cute suite! Love older buildings! The living/dining area was large. Comfortable bedroom space. Comfortable bed. Only complaint was the heavy smell of cigarette smoke when we first walked into the suite. The room was supposed to be non-smoking! We were compensated for the smelly inconvenience.
Staying at the State Plaza Hotel was a great experience for my family!! We were in DC for vacation and wanted a clean, good hotel but not too fancy or pretentious and in a central location with easy walking to DC museums and sites. State met our expectations! The room was a suite, and very clean with a nice bathroom, and a TV. The best part about the room was definitely the kitchen. It came with pots...
This place is not bad but I can tell it’s very old school considering the way the thermostats look inside the rooms. On their website, It may say that their break-lunch-dinner may be free but it’s not and one of the workers at the restaurant had the audacity to ask us if we had a free voucher or residence of the hotel… I guess we were new faces that they have not seen but they should NEVER ask anyone...

Old fashion kind of place with no continental breakfast. Do not valet park unless you want to pay 50+ bucks. Elevator shakes when going down and sometimes up, but the bed and room were excellent. The experience from beginning to end was excellent. I had a late flight and didn't get there until about 2am. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly (genuinely friendly). The rooms are clean and chic; they look exactly like the photographs. On my next trip I will definitely staff here again.
Nice hotel, would recommend and happily go back. The staff were very friendly and approachable and helped us out a few times. I absolutely love this hotel! The renovations make it easily one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at. The new look is very chic and modern. The accessible rooms are very roomy and would recommend getting over a regular room due to it being twice the size. I took One star away because I don’t like the concrete floors.
Small rooms. No coffee machine. When I checked in, they gave me a room that was occupied-embarrassing! Quickly fixed, but could have been and issue. Very nice, helpful staff. The highlights were the cucumber water in the lobby and a well-stocked bar with comfy chairs on the main floor.
The room was small but adequate. Attempted to use the fitness center in the late evening but it was full of children playing on the equipment. Parents were present but appeared to be playing on their phones. Front desk staff did not seem to think it was a problem. Highly recommend trying the almond "brioche" French toast for breakfast at the hotel restaurant.
Very nice hotel. Dog friendly, located in DuPont circle, in the heart of the action. Cool bar with food, nice bartender. Pretty breakfast area, good presentation on food. Parking is valet, not my favorite. Well appointed rooms and bathrooms. Looks like they will be adding or updating the restaurant as we were informed. Pick this place and have fun, because you will.

We had a great experience with this hotel. Our stay was short due to a layover at the airport. We got in late, but the shuttle still picked us up. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous, even giving us another room with the same quality after our first room didn’t work because the people next door (a conjoining room) were being way too loud with their music and partying. The views are spectacular and the beds extremely comfy! I’d give it a 4.5 for sure.
This place is great! And a cool location I’ve not yet explored in DC. I got into town early in the morning and was supposed to stay elsewhere. That national casino chain gave away my room, the whole reservation. I called this Hyatt (that I was eyeing before my trip) and they got me a room quickly so I could rest, hours before check in. Everyone I’ve met here has been just as hospitable and overall...
This hotel was perfect for our time in DC! The Wharf had numerous things do to like a lunch/dinner cruises, restaurants, shopping, etc. And the view from our room was just amazing! It was also a convenient distance from the national mall. We will definitely be booking there again the next time we visit DC!
Loved this hotel. It’s right off of the water next to the boathouse. Lots of dining choices and things to do nearby. My husband and I got a king bed room and it was just big enough and super functional. Loved that our housekeeper texted us to ensure things were going okay with the room. We received champagne for our anniversary and enjoyed sitting outside by the fire pit. The Wharf area is popping...
First time at this location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nicely appointed room, super clean. Bed was extra comfy and hotel was quiet. You could hear the music coming up from the street level, but wasn't excessively loud and it did end promptly at 11 pm. Hotel has good security measures in place, elevators only accessible with room key and there are in-room safes. Nice lobby and rooftop bars...

First, the rooms are small, but the atmosphere and service is incredible! A bar right in the lobby at check-in - amazing! And they give you drink tokens upon checking in. The entire lobby opens to an outdoor seating/entertainment area on the street. Lots of games to use/play. The hotel invites people to have fun. Despite the small rooms, the hotel is central to everything and the manager makes sure...
Wonderful stay! Came here with my 13-yr-old son for a birthday weekend. We had so much fun here. We got free drink tokens (hard and soft) upon check-in. The whole staff was very friendly and attentive. Their lobby and library are so much fun with games and comfy seats. Very lively but also appropriate for my son and I. The breakfast was delicious and well priced for the quality in downtown DC. Our...
What a fun vibe! We loved checking in at the bar and grabbing a complimentary drink. The location of the hotel was wonderful and we were able to walk to all but one place that we wanted to go to. Parking was easy (and not expensive). The rooms were on the smaller side, which was fine, as we did not spend much time there. One thing that took a second to get used to were the bathrooms - they do not have...
My stay at the Moxy was great! My dad and I spent 3 days at the hotel and absolutely loved it. The rooms were very cozy and clean, and the staff were absolutely wonderful. It was our first time visiting D.C. and the staff were really accommodating with recommendations and sites to visit. While all the staff were great, one employee in particular stood out as exceptional- Jonathan. Jonathan went above...
We had a leaders retreat for my company in DC and as the admin for my team I was tasked with finding a hotel for all 12 of us - working with Erich and Kristina was such a delight, they made booking our stay super easy and their meeting room was perfect for us! They were very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed and were so very helpful. The rooms are small yes, but we all loved...
This hotel has a great vibe. For me, traveling alone, the room was just the right size and because I was there for work, I wasn’t there much. I laughingly told my husband we probably couldn’t go there together because it would feel a bit cramped- and we definitely wouldn’t want to go there with our kids or we would be running into each other all weekend. The noise level may not be good if you are...

We stayed for one night to join the March for Our Lives. Could not have been a more perfect place. It's not a fancy hotel. The room was on the small size but very comfortable, attractive and clean. We were on the street side but it was very quiet. They have a great sort of "Living Room" area where you can get together with other people in comfort with coffee and other drinks, fruit , newspapers...
Very clean Hotel. The rooms and hallways are small but serves the purpose. I loved that they have social rooms and office area for meetings and hanging out on every other floor with free snacks, drinks, chess, tv, computers, printers and fax machines that is all free to use for guest. The only reason it did not get a five star is because of the room size and when I opened my curtains, I could see office...
The hotel is fine. But the payment system at the entrance guards: full payment plus applicable taxes plus expenses nepredvidennye
This was a really nice place, very central location. The staff was very helpful and friendly. My friend was charged extra for a few nights and his final bill was also wrong so it was a hastle but the hotel staff was patient and helpful to get everything fixed at the end. Very close to all the major attractions and easy to get around. I definitely recommend it if you want a nice comfortable place to...
