Novotel in Fujairah

I had a disappointing experience at this hotel. The rooms are very small and there was an unpleasant smell inside. The swimming pool was not well maintained – the water wasn’t clear, and it only has one depth level, which is too tall for adults to comfortably enjoy.

On top of that, from 4 pm to 8 pm the pool is occupied with kids’ swimming classes, which makes it inconvenient and uncomfortable for guests who just want to relax or swim during that time.

Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel as it did not meet expectations for comfort or quality.

The hotel’s pool is very bad because it’s one level and people who are shorter than me can’t use it. I’m 158 centimeters tall and I can’t touch the ground, so it’s uncomfortable because I can’t use the swimming pool. When I asked the lifeguards, they told me that I should bring my own jacket, and I asked why they didn’t mention it on the website. They said that they can’t say something like that.
2- They have every day swimming classes from 4 to 8 p.m there are a lot of children learning how to swim during that time, which doesn’t give other guests a chance to use the pool comfortably.
3- room service will used their keys to open the room while you are sleeping because they want to clean 😢😢

The hotel's location is excellent, but unfortunately, the interior conditions need significant improvement. There is a strong moisture odor throughout the property, and the rooms have an unpleasant smell. Additionally, the reception service is poor, and it's very difficult to reach anyone by phone.

I strongly recommend addressing the odor issue, as the bad smell is noticeable across all areas of the hotel, particularly in the corridors and guest rooms. For around 200 AED, you could easily install aroma diffusers or air purifiers that would greatly improve the guest experience.

I recently stayed at Novotel fujairah, and overall it was a mixed experience.
The room was clean and comfortable, and the food was truly amazing — fresh, tasty, and well-presented.

However, basic amenities like toothbrush, slippers, and drinking water were not provided upfront. I had to call and request them, which was disappointing.
Also, the attendant at the pool was quite arrogant, which affected the overall vibe.

Service quality could definitely be improved, especially in terms of hospitality and readiness.

If the staff training and guest service improve, this hotel has good potential because of its food and facilities.

The location was good in middle of fujairah but their reception is worst when i arrived at the reception they are not welcoming, the staff dont know how to respect their guest when i was having inquiry he just ignored me and when i told him why he dont respect me he told me he is the supervisor and will not let me to check in, its a bad customer service. It was a good hotel but you shud train ur staff well as it will ruined the image of the hotel. (Reception Name: Saeed) Hope you make action for this

Review for Novotel Fujairah

I recently stayed at Novotel Fujairah with my family, booking through a phone call using the HSBC Entertainer app for a complimentary one-night stay. While we were excited about this opportunity, our overall experience was somewhat mixed.

On the positive side, the booking process was smooth, and the complimentary night offer was a great value. However, there were a few aspects that left us feeling less than satisfied compared to our experiences in hotels in Dubai.

During check-in and check-out, the staff’s demeanor felt less welcoming than what we are accustomed to. A more engaging and friendly approach would have greatly enhanced the experience, especially as we were traveling with family.

In terms of amenities, we noticed that some basic essentials like cotton buds were not provided, which are typically available in most hotels. Additionally, we had booked lunch on our arrival day but were disappointed to find that by the time we arrived around 1:40 PM, many of the buffet dishes were already empty. Although some replacements were made, it was an unusual experience to encounter multiple empty pots in a hotel buffet.

The swimming pool also left much to be desired. The lack of temperature control made the water too cold for us to swim comfortably, which was particularly disappointing as we were looking forward to this feature.

While the stay had its highlights, I hope the hotel considers these points for improvement to ensure a more consistent and enjoyable experience for guests in the future. Thank you for the stay, and I hope to see these areas addressed in the future.
