The below review to be considered as important as we do not want anyone else to go through the same experience
Me and my friends would strongly advise against trusting this hotel for your special occasions, particularly weddings. The commitment was extremely poor, with a careless attitude and no responsibility toward the promises made. They demanded full payment upfront but showed zero follow-through on their commitments. It was truly disappointing to see my loved ones trust them with such an important event, only to have it turn into a challenge. They said buffet serving was only from 8pm-9pm. And they stopped serving even before this mentioned time. In which wedding does buffet for 280people be served for just 1 hour. Inspite of many not able to make it for the wedding still the management said that amount of people were more. At any cost do not trust this hotel for your special day. I only wish I could directly address this feedback to the owner, as the level of service provided was highly unfortunate and unprofessional.

Pros:
- Big room and big washroom
- Quite and odreless
- Room have balkony
- Location is near by the beach
- The view on the roof is very nice
Cons:
- After sleeping on the bed I was itching
- The TV remote control and the phone were dirty and dusty
- The panio was dirty and I could not take a shower
- The sofa was dirty and has some weird stains
All over the hygien and cleaning of the room is very poor and made the experience very poor as I did not sleep well and was feeling comfortable all the time. I wish the management consider my review and make improvment

Simply it is less than one star hotel. I booked 3 rooms and come with my family for two night. The furnature is old and very basic. Room.service are below expectation. The breakfast is very poor and simple. It is not Worthing the money you spend.

Very good hotel with a high quality service and friendly personnel. The room was clean and spacious. I had 2 meals: the breakfast was a buffet type in the canteen, the lunch/dinner (depending which one you choose) was served at the cafe. Big food choice for me, lot of dishes and large portions. There were enough parking lots outside of the hotel, whereas the underground parking also works if you prefer to leave a car inside. The supermarket is literally next door. The free Al Khan beach is just 8-10 minutes walk, but the Red Castle hotel also kindly provides the access to the seaside area that is to the hotel which the opposite from it, I forgot its name. The currency exchange shops, bigger shops, groceries are also within the walking distance. It's very close to the beach and close to Dubai airport (DXB) as well. The time spent to get to/from the Sharjah (SHJ) and Dubai (DXB) airport are approximately the same. Without traffic jams it is about 20 - 25 minutes maximum. I enjoyed staying there, highly recommend!

I recently stayed at the Red Castle Hotel in Sharjah for one night and had a memorable experience. We arrived late for check-in but were quickly and efficiently assisted by the friendly staff, making our arrival smooth and hassle-free.

We stayed in an Executive Suite, which was spacious, well-appointed, and provided all the comforts we needed. The decor was elegant, and the room offered a beautiful view of the city, adding to the overall ambience of our stay.

One disappointment was that the swimming pool was closed during our visit, so we didn’t get the chance to swim, which was especially disappointing for the kids. However, this did not overshadow the other positive aspects of our stay.

The food at the hotel's restaurant was delightful. We thoroughly enjoyed the variety and quality of the dishes offered. The ambience in the restaurant was warm and inviting, making our dining experience quite enjoyable. I would like to extend a special thanks to Ms. Maria from the restaurant for her exceptional service. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure our dining experience was top-notch.

Overall, our stay at the Red Castle Hotel was pleasant and comfortable, with excellent service and amenities. Despite the pool being closed, we had a great time and would consider staying here again in the future.

Disappointing Experience Despite Booking in Advance

During our recent trip from Abu Dhabi to Sharjah, we encountered a highly disappointing experience at this hotel. We had made an advance booking and paid through Agoda. However, upon arrival, the manager, Shakil, refused to check us in, even though we had all the necessary documentation, including our booking confirmation, payment details, and identification through the UAE app. While I had forgotten my wallet at home, my wife had her physical ID with her (which was the name on the booking), but the manager insisted that we could not check in because we had not booked directly with the hotel. Despite our attempts to explain the situation, he was unwilling to find a solution and caused unnecessary stress, as we had to travel a long distance from Sharjha to Abu Dhabi to Sharjah to retrieve additional documents. Which is 4 hrs drive.

Additionally, I observed that the manager was confrontational with other guests, which further added to the negative experience.

The room itself had several issues: the water boiler was dirty, the shower was missing a glass panel, and the door did not close properly. On a positive note, the food was good, and the parking facilities were convenient. The receptionist, waiter and live kitchen cheif was the only reason i have hope that this hotel can be better with small replacement .

Overall, I would advise future guests to be cautious, especially when booking through third-party platforms. While the hotel had some positive aspects, the lack of flexibility and professionalism in handling guest concerns was highly disappointing.

Very good hotel well located. Big room, clean, comfortable bed and pillows. Check in just a big long.

if you like to be next to the beach this hotel for you. clean, big rooms, nice bathroom, nice staff, and free parking. the only problem for me it's so traffic in my way back to the hotel and no restaurents or service nearby.

This hotel was a complete disaster from start to finish. The rooms were filthy, with an overwhelming smell and visible dust everywhere. I encountered insects and had to deal with broken, rusty furniture. Basic amenities like appliances and air conditioning were faulty.

The location is terrible, with nothing of interest nearby. A car is absolutely necessary if you choose to stay here, which I strongly advise against.

I changed rooms three times, hoping for improvement, but each was as bad as the last. The entire property is poorly maintained and severely rundown.

In conclusion, this hotel failed on every level. I cannot recommend it under any circumstances and will never return.

Keep in mind several of these issues are related to the fact that the hotel is understaffed.

1st, they don't always answer the phone (Both when you're staying at the hotel or just considering it)

Here are a number of issues we faced during our stay, within the character limit.

They increase the AC temp during night time in the summer "to save power" although it's very hot (>35 degrees celsius at night)

We booked a presidential suite. We were told that the difference between it & an executive suite was that the presidential suite had a jacuzzi, so we figured why not.

We were told on the phone that there was valet parking. This was not the case when we arrived. There was no valet parking. There was basement parking, which was a bit narrow/uncomfortable in certain spots but overall fine.

Upon arrival, there was only 1 receptionist available. I suggest they hire 1-2 more to deal with customers checking in & out and with those who have questions & to pick up the phone. This poor single receptionist was printing papers, checking ID's, talking with 2 groups of customers checking in as well as a group checking out, answering phone calls, & opening/closing parking gates.

The one good thing about our stay was his assistance - Leonardo, so I would like to thank him & I hope he gets a raise.

After checking in, we went to our presidential suite. 1st impressions were positive at the beginning - it looked nice & I liked the blue carpet's colour & the paint was bright.

However, after that, cracks started to appear in our view. The flat TV screen was small & ancient. It was also bolted in such a way that concealed the ports behind the TV. This led to our 1st negative interaction with maintenance & IT. The person who responded said they were in the process of getting new TVs & that only 2 in the entire hotel had an HDMI cable port. I knew that was false. He insisted. When I kept questioning him about it, he said he'd send someone to check it out. Leonardo the receptionist showed up along with the maintenance guy, & they both unscrewed a screw behind the TV to allow us to check behind it, where we saw there was indeed an HDMI cable & it worked.

The bed's mattress was as hard as the floor. The pillows were meh. But the worst thing about the bedroom was this wind chime that was right in front of the A/C vents. I'm not sure what decor genius thought this was a good idea, because it was terrible. Every time we closed our eyes to sleep they would jingle & wake us up.

Next, the bathrooms. There were 2, which was good, but one of them had a clogged up sink so the water rose quickly. The other bathroom with the jacuzzi & the shower had a broken heater. The false ceiling had markings of mould/humidity/leaking water & so on. The water coming from the jacuzzi was only lukewarm. It rendered the jacuzzi unusable. The water also had a funny green colour which made it seem unhealthy to use.

We complained & after an adventure with the help of a security guy, the receptionist Ziad, & a maintenance person, we found another presidential suite room where the water was hot & the jacuzzi worked (From a switch on the wall, but the jacuzzi buttons were all dead & so was the light in it). The water still looked off, tho, with a greenish colour. But at least the water was hot.

This other room looked older & had a questionable taste in terms of colours, but we eventually grew to prefer it over the other one.
The TV was not bolted to the wall here, the paintings were marginally better, although the view might have been a bit worse, but either way, the windows in both rooms were dirty. This new room had no working telephones.
Most importantly, however, there were no wind chimes! We could sleep in (relative) quiet.

P.S., since it's right by the street, you might hear traffic nearby & some other sounds from the AC & fans.

About the WiFi, we did not need it much, but the download speed when tested was 300 mbps (not bad for light work, tho I didn't check the upload speed.)

We didn't use the gyms or try the restaurant/cafe.
