Its a 3 star hotel between two ski centers, you need to reach any of them in 10 minutes by walking. During cold weather with your suits it’s not easy. The rooms are wide enough. There is no shower cabin so when you get shower, all bathroom is wet!. The breakfast and dinner were quite enough for a 3 star hotel. The names of the meals are only in Bulgarian so you need to use Google translate. For the dinner Excalibur restaurant is also open for everybody. So the waiters are dealing with them and happy if you eat and leave quickly. I stayed here with my family during Bulgarian holiday and booked very late. There are more good places than here with the same price. If you have time, book early and find better places. But over all we enjoyed our vacation.

Stay away from The Castle 2.
We pay 800$ for 6 nights, in february 2025, reserved thru Booking.
Horrible bed and broken matress!
Broken shower doors!
We stay in room 304.
Nobody came to clean the room, they come only for leaving toilet paper, shampoo and shower gel.
We spoke with a guy from reception about the only 7 cm of sponge on (the broken) matress, but the second day after I go again there, he told me that he speak with the "manager", and they know about the issues, "it is on all beds" from The Castle 2: no sorry, no excuses !

Amazing place. Ski in and ski out off the Complex.Modern furnished apartments with romantic fireplace. Absolutely professional stuff.Delicious food in the Restaurant. Alpine atmosphere and perfect location.

Awful service. The site states that there is parking but when arrived they said its full and to wait. Although we waited, the stuff did not follow any order and kept allowing cars to enter before us. At the end after asking several times why we are not allowed to enter the parking, we decided to move our luggage. We had to carry all the luggage from the main road to the hotel buildings. The side walks were not cleaned and we had to walk on the road between the moving cars. Our child fell under a car and it was luck the car did not move.

Excellent location and very comfortable, large and well equipped apartments for families! The staff is very nice and always ready to help you. We have visited The Castle several times and the level of service does not change. Excellent food restaurant, delicious food and huge portions!

We stayed 3 nights. Rooms were clean, bed comfortable, bedding snow white. Food in the restaurant delicious, especially recommend tongue with butter and manatarka, this is a mushroom. The lady who works at the front desk is very nice and helpful. She recommended places to go and attractions to see. We are looking forward to visit again.

Apartments in need of upgrading and redecorating. Socket blew up when plugging kettle on, staff not bothered! If your room is in block 5, be warned it can get every noisy- bar, shop and reception, People arriving and leaving 24/7. If your after very basic means this is what you will get.

There were huge icecles on the roof of the entire complex which could become very dangaraus. The rooms are ok, the heating is with electrical radiator which made the air very dry and hard to breath in the night. The location is perfect, you can literally start skiing from the exit, there is a slope Infront which bring you to the bus station. There is a shop in the complex, where you can buy groceries on good price. Overall a good hotel.

Great location, right next to the slope. You can hop on your skis and get to the lift station in less than 2min, but it's still quiet at night. The restaurant is very good too. You don't need much more than that actually.
