Absolutely disgraceful, exactly overpriced for the quality, staff was showing 0 interest about the experience of the guests, breakfast was very poor all options was toast or omelette, spa zone was pretty basic and not very good hygiene. Stay away from the hotel if you have choice.

We didn't stay in the hotel, but had a meal in the restaurant instead, about 12 of us. The DJ was a huge mistake. Unbearably loud - I mean ears ringing the next day loud - and we just couldn't talk to each other, nor the waiters. As a result the food took ages to arrive because we 'hadn't ordered' and half the food was off the menu. The pizza oven wasn't fired up. My lamb needed a saw, and when we wanted to pay and get out of there, the owner wouldn't seperate the bill. I know; we should have walked straight out as soon as we heard the stadium level of noise. Never again. If the hotel owner reads this, EXTREMELY LOUD MUSIC DRIVES CUSTOMERS AWAY.

There were a lot of positives about the hotel, Kosmos bar and bakery on the roof is excellent, as is the spa and staff. The rooms need renovation, bathrooms are shabby, rooms are overheated and there is no air conditioning, we had to request a change of room, due to the fact that rooms at the front of hotel, although they have lovely views are very noisy, there is a problem with stray dogs roaming the village and barking at night. Extractor fan and light in bathroom didn’t work, nor did the keycard, there are no rooms safes. Definitely need refurbishment. Biggest inconvenience was the two lifts which didn’t work for most of our visit, that is not acceptable in an eight story hotel, for the last two days neither lift was working which meant climbing up to 5/6 floors in our case,

Pros Looks great. Amazing cosy pool/spa area. Best equiped hotel gym I’ve seen in a long time. Excellent selection of delicious buffet food for dinner and breakfast. Some friendly staff. Cons Slept very badly every night due to the fact our room was unbearably hot! Room didn’t have air-conditioning either. We had all radiators off and slept with no covers and the balcony door wide open during winter to try and cool it down. We were facing the main road and was very loud all night with bars/cars/people/stray dogs and even wearing ear plugs were awoken, and the room still stayed hot! We spoke to other guests that had to do the same. Also, wifi didn’t work at all. Fridge didn’t work. Toilet had small leak on floor from inlet pipe. No security box in room. Staff were unable to move us to a room on the ‘quieter’ side of the hotel. Most staff spoke very little English.

Our stay was really enjoyable. I couldnt get my kids out of the swimming pool! The water was clear and warm. The jacuzzi and the sauna were a pleasant surprize, as well as the gym studio. The hotel is located in the centre of Pamporovo.

Please note that a Bulgarian 4 star is a 1/2 in UK. That being said this is a nice hotel .very clean ,warm and a cofy bed . Swimming pool was a nice big area little colder than I like but not something to complain about swim faster an you will warm up . Food in bulgara is always cold and it is no different for the buffet . I have a fussy eater so didn't eat here every night . What we did have from the buffet was good we went through to the restaurant were you have to pay for one night and they selection was good and it tasted spot on ,other nights we ate out around the town with no complaints . The bar on the top floor was not open much for our stay but if you get a good clear day it's worth a nip up for the view . Also had a massage in the spa highly recommended.

My family stayed here in August and we spent a good time here. The location is very, very good. The staff is polite and always ready to help. The food in the restaurant was also good and delicious. The hotel is suitable for both - summer vacation as well as winter ski relax. Next time in Pamporovo, we would visit it again.

For a 4 star hotel I expected more. Pool could have been cleaner and working hours of restaurant and pool could have been more aligned (the receptionist was not sure of those hours). Lobby bar was not working and no room service. Of course this was shortly before hotel was about to close for a break before the winter season. Still the beds and sheets were nice and room was cosy and actually bigger than in most of the other places. You could come with a dog and in total the price was not very high.

Another hotel in Pamporovo with a great reputation in past and not worth to be visit today. It is a part of Sharlopov hotels I used to visit a lot and most of it hotels are going down year by year. Sad to write such a review but this is a whole truth.
