The room was clean but there was no shampoo,nor soap just a shower cap. The tool of the curtain in the shower almost have fallen over me. They may improve that ! The location is great and stuff was kind.

Best location in Varna! Less than 5 minutes to the beach and right in the center of the city on the main pedestrian street. The lady at the front desk was welcoming, friendly, helpful and patient with us. The room and the bathroom are spacious and have everything you might need. It's clean, comfortable and quiet despite the noise coming from the nearby bars and restaurants. I recommend! It's a very good quality for the price.

Brilliant location and nice receptionist but that is where the good bit ends.
The first room we were shown smelled of smoke, the air-conditioning didn't work and neither did the fridge. It was an enormous room but very shabby with iron marks burned into the carpet.
We asked to leave and have a refund (we had stupidly paid in advance) and we were told that was impossible. We were shown another room which was the same.
Two more rooms, hair on the carpet, wall paper peeling off, sockets hanging out of walls.
We had to finally accept a room as we were told that we could not have a refund under any circumstances.
I would never stay there again and I would not recommend it to anyone.

The room I was in was not renewed, but still looked okay, the location was great, everything was 5 min by walk, the parking can be problematic at sometimes, that's why I went to the local municipality parking for 12 leva per day. The service at the hotel was great, everything was clean and shiny.

The hotel its on the main street close to restaurants, bars and markets. The beach its just 10min walking. Great location

The Hotel is fine if you are staying there just for 2-3 days. Other than that it's super old and has this characteristic old cigarette smell, but the location is prime. To sum up, not an all seasons place, but acxeptable for a short stay.

The hotel is right in the city center and near the sea. The room was quite spacious. You get a nice-sized couch and a fridge with plenty of different drinks and treats. Receptionist were friendly when checking in or asking any questions.
My complaints come from the outside noise of loud music from parties at night and the wifi on several floors were not very good as it's very spotty.

Plaza Hotel is located on one of the main touristic streets of Varna. It is very comfortable in terms of location. I was happy to have the room with balcony and the view is just great.
The room itself is big and clean.
The staff is pleasant.
The breakfasts are tasty.
The price is affordable.

Rooms are big but they need serious renovation. Everything is cheap made and very poorly maintained. The is no parking spots available. The hotel is in the city center which is limited paid zone.

Can't really beat the location. Close to the beach, and right in the middle of the main pedestrian street. Plenty of eateries around, some better than others. Few minutes walk from the city park which is a great place for a walk, and there are even some museums to be found here as well.
Breakfast is served in a restaurant next door. Basic selection, mediocre quality. Rooms were spacious but slightly aged. Weak smell of cigarettes when we arrived, but this disappeared. Beds were pretty hard and rather uncomfortable, but apart from this I have nothing bad to say about the room itself.
If you need laundry, the hotel offers this service but keep in mind that it is rather expensive. We paid BGN 60 (€30) for one bag of laundry. It is probably cheaper to look outside the hotel for this particular service.
Cleaning personnell did a good job.
I probably wouldn't stay here again, but if you're in the need for a relatively cheap (sans laundry) place to stay for a weekend or a week at the beach, it's not a bad choice.
