The rooms are pretty spacious, the bathroom as well. It is very clean with some minor exceptions. The spa area has plenty of options, pools with different water temperature, sauna, etc. Absolutely everyone from the staff whom we met was friendly, polite and welcoming which we highly appreciated. One downside is that the hotel is located pretty far out but on the other hand it has great mountain views.

The bathrooms need some cleaning - showers have mold. It is also not a smoke-free hotel. People smoke on the balconies, so the smoke gets into the adjacent rooms.
It also hosts events, which is great but could get noizy at times for the guests.
It does have great views and staff is very friendly.
The restaurant is pricey for what it offers. I guess that's why it is quite empty in the evenings.

We were so pleasantly surprised how nice everyone of the staff was! Also pleasantly surprised of the great food. Even the simplest princesi sandwich st the pool was absolutely amazing, and the restaurant had the best lamb dishes!

Outstanding hotel offering impeccable service. The rooms are generously spacious and meticulously clean. The staff exemplifies professionalism and exceptional politeness. The restaurant and lobby are superbly designed and maintained. However, the SPA falls short due to its extremely small size, poor lighting and lack of variety of experiences.
In a destination like Velingrad, a well-appointed and spacious SPA is crucial, especially considering the limited entertainment options, particularly during the winter months. As the town is somewhat lacking in activities and distant from other points of interest, visitors primarily seek out Velingrad for its spa experiences so guys please improve the SPA to match the rest of the hotel.

My stay at the hotel was great from the start the staff were friendly and helpful.
The food was not only delicious but also offered a wide range of options to cater to various tastes and dietary preferences.
Despite the hotel being fully booked, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and well-maintained the spa area was. It provided the perfect environment for relaxation

We had a very pleasant stay at Vella Hills, everything was perfect. We loved the spacious rooms with great views. The location is lovely on a hill.
The food was also excellent, breakfast is rich with savoury and sweet choices. The lunch menu has a nice choice and amazing soups.
The dinner menu is diverse, we enjoyed every meal. Staff in the restaurant is amazing and very professional.
The Spa is also nice, sometimes is crowded but if you go at different times 8am or 12 is good. We mostly enjoyed the jacuzzi, the pool, sauna and the cold cave room.
The only recommendation is may be to have a welcome water in the room which is basic human necessity.
We will definitely come back. 😊

Returned for second time hoping it would be the same quality but is actually got even better. The restaurant is got better quality. The spa remains amazing with such great hosts. The relaxed laid back atmosphere is what makes this hotel so great. Yes there are some details that could be better but it will loose all its charm doing so, so please don't change. The one thing I do think could be better is the bar which closes at 10pm. They have a great cocktail menu but can't make any of the cocktail. It's a lost opportunity not being able to enjoy bar service with nice cocktails at the spa.

Negatives: Poor breakfast and dinner (we are food lovers and this was a total turn-off), service not flexible at all. No suggestions for mountain hikes or things you can do in the area. The staff looks a bit overloaded with work and tired.

Big rooms but it is not quite 4* - very much 3+. A lot of steps in the hotel , even when get out parking before elevator a step , than to go to reception many many steps , so the hotel absolutely not for disabilities as well stuff not help with luggage at all ! No social distance AT ALL - BREAKFAST even lines and open just 1/3 floor of restaurant. Tables so close to buffet that line push chairs ! Very average choice on breakfast.

Nice hotel, but bad service & poor breakfast. No room service, no flexibility from restaurant staff, no gym. Breakfast is until 10 am, but if you go at 9:45 lots of things are already gone & food is not being re-filled. At the same time they close the buffet at 10am sharp & you can’t even get water or a cup of coffee at 10:01am.
Spa zone is new & okay.
Nothing else more than 3 star hotel. Overpriced in general.
