The hotel is super, it's 5 stars, the staff is very friendly, very clean and the food is delicious, there's a large selection for breakfast.

Everyone from the staff was friendly, polite and welcoming.The room was big, clean and quiet with a balcony and great mountain view. The food and service at the restaurant were great! The Spa facilities were very good and clean and the big oudoor pool was still open and functioning at the end of September.

Favourite place around, everything is good but sometimes the consistency of the restaurant is not very good, we had tough stakes several times when dining. Otherwise everything else is 10 / 10

My wife and I stayed here for a short break. Neither of us smokes—cigarettes or otherwise. Despite this, the receptionist, Geri, accused us of smoking in the room for two days and disturbing other guests. Most of the time, we weren’t even in the room, as we were out hiking or at the spa.
I am extremely disappointed by the management’s attitude. The issue was only resolved when the owner stepped in, but I cannot tolerate such treatment.
I do not recommend staying here if you’re a non-smoker, as no one will believe you. You risk being accused without proof for others’ actions.
Also, you can’t open the window for fresh air because everyone is smoking on the balconies. We had to keep everything closed and suffer in a stuffy room, especially with the broken air conditioning. If you’re a non-smoker, I’d strongly recommend looking for other options.

The rooms are pretty spacious, the bathroom as well. It is very clean with some minor exceptions. The spa area has plenty of options, pools with different water temperature, sauna, etc. Absolutely everyone from the staff whom we met was friendly, polite and welcoming which we highly appreciated. One downside is that the hotel is located pretty far out but on the other hand it has great mountain views.

The bathrooms need some cleaning - showers have mold. It is also not a smoke-free hotel. People smoke on the balconies, so the smoke gets into the adjacent rooms.
It also hosts events, which is great but could get noizy at times for the guests.
It does have great views and staff is very friendly.
The restaurant is pricey for what it offers. I guess that's why it is quite empty in the evenings.

We were so pleasantly surprised how nice everyone of the staff was! Also pleasantly surprised of the great food. Even the simplest princesi sandwich st the pool was absolutely amazing, and the restaurant had the best lamb dishes!

Outstanding hotel offering impeccable service. The rooms are generously spacious and meticulously clean. The staff exemplifies professionalism and exceptional politeness. The restaurant and lobby are superbly designed and maintained. However, the SPA falls short due to its extremely small size, poor lighting and lack of variety of experiences.
In a destination like Velingrad, a well-appointed and spacious SPA is crucial, especially considering the limited entertainment options, particularly during the winter months. As the town is somewhat lacking in activities and distant from other points of interest, visitors primarily seek out Velingrad for its spa experiences so guys please improve the SPA to match the rest of the hotel.

Despite the hotel being fully booked, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and well-maintained the spa area was. It provided the perfect environment for relaxation

We had a very pleasant stay at Vella Hills, everything was perfect. We loved the spacious rooms with great views. The location is lovely on a hill.
The food was also excellent, breakfast is rich with savoury and sweet choices. The lunch menu has a nice choice and amazing soups.
The dinner menu is diverse, we enjoyed every meal. Staff in the restaurant is amazing and very professional.
The Spa is also nice, sometimes is crowded but if you go at different times 8am or 12 is good. We mostly enjoyed the jacuzzi, the pool, sauna and the cold cave room.
The only recommendation is may be to have a welcome water in the room which is basic human necessity.
We will definitely come back. 😊
