The hotel is nice, but it's not a 4 star for sure. Confident 3 stars - yes. Rooms are good, but the shower good be better. Shower head is small, water pressure is very low and the water flows from the connection of hose and head. The absence of pool or gym also don't make it 4 stars hotel. Breakfast is good but not very various. Mini bar which was not cooling beverages inside it. You want to take something to drink, but it's totally warm. Especially beer ((( And of course AC that's not ac at all, but just a fan. I put it to the 17 degrees and full power and it still was hot inside my room

The location is great and the staff tries hard to be friendly and helpful. But this is a classic example of a hotel with absentee ownership, deferring maintenance and milking every possible cent from the property. The carpeting in the meeting rooms, restaurant, and individual rooms is filthy. My room should have been replaced a year ago and cleaned at least 6 months ago. The lumpy, slanted mattress should have been changed a year ago. One elevator of the two out of service, Cheap towels, bedding, and toilet paper. They use "energy saving" lighting which leaves the room very dark at night. No gym or workout room. If location is the most important thing for you, you'll probably like this place. But just know it's really a 2 star hotel.

It is 30 degrees outside but the air conditioning does not work. It blows warm air only because centrally the system is not turned on. Staff say they can only offer an extra fan. Essentially you're treated as if you make a strange request when asking the ac to work in a 4 star hotel. Won't take guests to this hotel again. The interior has by now aged and it's not remotely close to the 4 star rating it has.
The hotel has also attempted to charge an extra night. One night was taken as a prepayment but the receptionist then tried to charge it once more at checkout. When informed it was already paid, the fee was deducted. No apology, just sad they were caught at their attempt. Likewise the hotel tried to charge breakfasts which were already included in the booking.

Room is nice, new and renovated. Bathrooms however are not, they are a bit dirty and old school, definitely doesn't match the rest of the room. The hotel needs to work in general cleanliness of the rooms! However location was amazing!

I found not one, not two, but three different pills on the floor in my hotel room. I googled what they were, and they were different kinds viagras. The dinner is horrendous, there is no other way to describe it. When trying to get a table for breakfast for my party of eight, I was told I have to wait as the waiter gave the only table for eight to one single person. He had the entire table to himself. When I asked about putting another chair to a table with seven seats, the waiter more or less told me to do whatever. The toilets don't have toilet paper, but toilet paper dispensers like that of a public toilet that gives you one square each time. However the one of the workers, I'm not sure of his name, an older gentleman with grey hair. He was an amazing host, great service all around, he is the only reason I'm not giving the hotel one star. The people in the next room over from me was playing deafening loud music until 5am, even after I asked reception and they said they would sort it, nothing came of it. I will say though, the location is amazing and the view of the mountains is gorgeous

Staff offer Bulgarian style welcome, which I quite like when I got use to it. Grumpy on the outside, but actually really nice and helpful. Kind of endearing once you realise they don't actually hate you.
Breakfast was okay, lots of choice, but hot food not hot, and none of ut tasted that good. Maybe reduce the number if options, for better quality?

Fantastic hotel in the center of Sofia. It’s located right next to the iconic NDK building which is among the most spectacular buildings in Eastern Europe. The staff was also incredibly considerate, kind, and knowledgeable.

Rooms adequate, need updating.
Staff at the conference room were outstanding.
After booking 15 rooms for 6 nights, the conference room and daily lunch for 5 days, the hotel would not provide a one hour late checkout for 3 rooms.

I am the most satisfied with employees in a hotel. They really put all the effort in helping the guests. All of them are very kind people. I do only have one small proposition, to look into making ventilation less stronger. It’s a bit cold even when turned off. I would recommend it.😊

Very good location in city centre. Bed was good (blanket was to small for two people, the toilet kept on running water and shampoo was empty). But big rooms, good view and great location.
