The breakfast is one of the best I've ever had, the restaurant is very good, although a bit expensive compared to the ones in town

The hotel is situated above Velingrad (in the forest), but close enough to walk to the town centre. The staff are very polite and always ready help

so clean, renovated spa and saunas, mineral hot water in the , pools; excellent hot water pool outside, big rooms, friendly service and feeling the hotel is managed by very good professional woman

Great hotel, great service, great location! The rooms are spacious and cleaned every day (which seems to be a problem for so many hotels these days). The pools are really good, spacious and they are warm (all of them!)

2 outdoor pools with plenty of space in the shade or sun and shallow parts for kids. Spa rooms are many and provide great coverage of services. The free Breakfast was very good with large selection of healthy choices

Buffet food was good, not the best ever but good for a buffet. Massage and therapy options are amazing. The therapist is very good and can provide numerous treatments. Relaxation massages are also very good

Very nice hotel and spa experience in Velingrad. Would say 4-star hotel, not quite 5star standards but very good. Two large pools and good hot tub and sauna options. Playroom for children, billiards and games

sadly 5* doesn't mean all that much. I'd rather say it's a very good 3* star hotel. I liked it and probably would return at some point. Breakfast is poor, but dinner is great and tasty

The outdoor swimming pool was excellent. The food was anything special and the same every day.

also the spa is no so good as before, the outdoor pool was warm only for 1 day, then they stopped the hot water in it and we couldn't go in, the jacuzzis were damaged and only 1 type of nozzle out of 4 worked, so yap, this is the last time we are coming here

I stayed there in 2018 and 2019 and I was about to stay there in 2023, but unfortunately things didn't go as planned! However, I'll never forget about this great place that's always made my holiday better! It's located outside of Velingrad in a quite and peaceful area, surrounded by trees and mountains with a bus stop right in front of the hotel connecting it to the town! On the background of the country's level of service this is a truly 5 star hotel. People are friendly, food is good, spa and pool are ok. Small issue with finding change for a 50. Great price to quality ratio IMO.

An incredible hotel with nature view, cozy, spacious, the design is simply top notch, a great spa center with incredible treatments, the food is fresh and wonderfully cooked, the desserts are unique, the lobby bar is superb and the staff are more than friendly, I recommend everyone to visit this hotel to experience all of this in person!

This hotel's best pints are its pools and water spas. All are nicely set up and well-maintained. There's good variety in the saunas and steam rooms, and the outdoor pool is attractive to use even in October

The room with a balcony was spacious and comfortable. It lacked a few niceties, like a good supply of water bottles in the room each day, but was big and inviting

In October, with few guests, the common spaces felt very lonely. The food was not very good and we quickly found better options in Velingrad. We went for the waters and the air, and Maxi delivered on those counts

Although the buffet was super rich and the food there was fresh and delicious, I wouldn't say the service and the menu were excellent (staff was polite though). The hotel itself was very cosy, the room was okay

The massage was fabulous!! The lady who massage me was very kind… the room temparature was good. The lady was from Bali and could speak better english than turkish. ı had a a classic massage for 45 min and it was enough

We had a lovely stay at the 5-star hotel during Valentine's Day. While it may not be what one would typically expect from a 5-star hotel in other countries, it was still a great experience

One of the best and oldest spas in Velingrad. You are in an old style 5 star Hotel, but the genuine version. There is a lot of space inside and outside, beautiful park around and the city center is accessible by foot

Good hotel with a good and clean spa. It's a pity that the guy who opens and close thespa is quite rude and want to close before time (one area of the spa works fron 10h to 19h and the big swimming pool from 9h to 20h)

They always refill the food containers immediately and you will never lack of food selection. Plenty of tasty deserts and fruits

It has two indoor pools and one small on the outside. The water is warm and suitable for small children. The spa offers a lot of different things to explore. Very tasty food in the restaurant for a good price

The pool is too far from the rooms and the elevator, also the water wasn’t that clean too much hair in some places, especially in the deepest parts of the pool, the also wasn’t very good kind of old and the water did stop couple of times we were not able to use the shower neither the toilet, kid playroom was awful condition many of the toys were broken, my wife told the receptionist that kids playroom...

I stayed in a single room with breakfast and dinner included. There is a good choice at the buffet. It was my first experience tasting Bulgarian food and it was delicious. The hotel is in a good location

Once waiters were serving around the swimming pool and the information I was being given from a staff member is that they would serve only these guests, because they are privileged, so we had to go and pick up our food from the restaurant

Honestly I didn't feel like I was in 4 star hotel, the whole service wasn't great. The food included in the package wasn't bad, but nothing fascinating. The pillows looked cheap and could barely sleep on them

The masseurs were overbooked and were in a hurry to finish up our massages. There was a blond lady on the Spa reception, which I didn't catch her name and seemed quite unpleasant

Personally the service was really good the food was good most importantly the plates and the forks were clean, ther room’s were great they wer clean the sheets were clean and it seemed really nice, my experience in the pool was really good the water was warm and clean personally i would recommend it 100%

50/50 food choice, some of it looks not very fresh + there are no free beverages, you have to pay for water and other simple drinks. The rooms are good but very old and this can be easily noticed by the scratches

The pool and spa area are not in best shape, the water doesn't look clean and inviting, the windows are covered with stains and the capacity of the spa doesn't correspond with the capacity of the hotel rooms

The only good thing about this hotel is the peaceful garden away from the city noise and the panoramic view. For the prices they charge, Starosel is way better

Superb hotel, rooms and staff. The spa area amazing and clean. House keepers very quiet in the corridor. Comfy beds. Staff is polite and helpful. Restaurants food very good. I recommend and will be back there very soon.

Favourite place around, everything is good but sometimes the consistency of the restaurant is not very good, we had tough stakes several times when dining. Otherwise everything else is 10 / 10

We come here for the second time. Separation for little children and families came here to relax. Very delicious food -sea food, shrimps, salmon and etc

We had a very good relaxing time in the hotel. The spa is in very good condition. Swimming pool big enough and deep for swimming. The saunas are in good condition. Coffee in the restaurant is amazing

Pools are small and not overcrowded. Greek style outdoors - statues, chairs, colours. 20lv is the fee for using the pools when you are not a guest of 5he hotel

The hotel is small and very cozy. The spa is very good, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the restaurant and staff are excellent. On Saturday night there was live music that turned our vacation into a celebration

The jacuzzi was great and laying near the swimming pool in a sunny afternoon was a nice experience. The breakfast is great, but on top on that's the restaurant was excellent for lunch. So cheap for such a great quality

Everything you could expect from 4 star hotel. The rooms are incredibly nice plus large balconies. The personnel is really polite and friendly. I was there on new year's eve and it was perfect.

Charming, old style, rustic and attractive. The courtyard is beautiful and there are kittens playing. The restaurant downstairs is affordable, healthy and delicious. The room has lots of wood and it has a good feeling
