Our room was spacious and the view of the opposite neighbourhood and the mountains was spectacular, especially when snowy. The lobby was nicely decorated. Nevertheless, it is a refurbished old hotel in late-80s socialist style. That means no luxury should be expected and the SPA centre, the rooms and the indoor restaurant looks passable but not great.

Do not be fooled by the outside looks. The Inside is absolutely amazing. The location of the outdoor poor is perfect! The sauna, steam bath and all facilities are impeccable. BH Velingrad is a very peaceful and romantic place. The staff is very friendly and smiling. The rooms are terribly small, those facing the Balkans. The procedures are very messy and you have to keep track of the hours every day, and when you have a bath and then other procedures, it's a lot of running.

It is a decent hotel, not very luxurious but it is ok. The surrounding area is peaceful and many rooms have a mountain view. The renovated rooms (deluxe) are definitely a better choice than the standard ones. There is a spa center with sauna, steam bath and a few swimming pools, also 2 fitness rooms. Even though the hotel was fully booked the stay here was quite enjoyable.

I went to Akvatonik from Turkey 7 times.Everything was excellent. Breakfast , employee and nature was perfect. But last time indoor pool water was a little cold and some buttons were not working. We will go again in November. I hope the waters will warm up by then:)

While Velingrad hotels are very overpriced this one is an exception. Just book a renovated room and you’ll enjoy it. Most importantly the staff here is extremely nice and caring

Everyone from the staff was friendly, polite and welcoming.The room was big, clean and quiet with a balcony and great mountain view. The food and service at the restaurant were great! The Spa facilities were very good and clean and the big oudoor pool was still open and functioning at the end of September.

The rooms are pretty spacious, the bathroom as well. It is very clean with some minor exceptions. The spa area has plenty of options, pools with different water temperature, sauna, etc. Absolutely everyone from the staff whom we met was friendly, polite and welcoming which we highly appreciated. One downside is that the hotel is located pretty far out but on the other hand it has great mountain views

The bathrooms need some cleaning - showers have mold. It is also not a smoke-free hotel. People smoke on the balconies, so the smoke gets into the adjacent rooms. It also hosts events, which is great but could get noizy at times for the guests. It does have great views and staff is very friendly. The restaurant is pricey for what it offers. I guess that's why it is quite empty in the evenings.

The good: good location in the old part of town and the spa is just ok, although the sauna had broken benches. The bad: breakfast is horrible just horrible, hotel maintenance is very bad, overall the hotel is dirty, the staff is rude and lacks basic soft skills. Big rooms with a terrace. The spa and the pools are great, with a mineral water. 2 indoor pools plus a jacuzzi, turkish bath, sauna, relax room and a gym, plus outdoor pool. It's a bit far away from the centre, in a peaceful area. We've been here with a 4month old baby and enjoyed it. I recommend it!!

Lovely clean and well kept hotel. The rooms are modern and specious with a fantastic balcony. The only downside for me was the temperature of the outdoor pool. It was too cold, impossible to use in October. The indoor pool was rather cold too, around 30C. The food was ok. The diner was mostly cooked meat and fresh salad, no choice or rise or potatoes dishes.

Surprisingly good hotel. Excellent rooms, quiet place. The indoor pool is fantastic and not crowded. There is an outside pool too - but was too hot to stay there. Food is fine - nothing extraordinary. Behind the hotel begins a green path that leads to a fantastic huge meadow - great for hiking without any gear.

It's definitely not worth the four stars category. Rooms are OK, but nothing special. The main disadvantages - SPA is one of the worst I have ever been. The pool is so small, practically you can only stand still there if more than 5 person are in at the same time. The sauna is also very small and it's only dry with no watering. The food is simply not good at all. Very poor quality.

The pool is too far from the rooms and the elevator, also the water wasn’t that clean too much hair in some places, especially in the deepest parts of the pool, the also wasn’t very good kind of old and the water did stop couple of times we were not able to use the shower neither the toilet, kid playroom was awful condition many of the toys were broken, my wife told the receptionist that kids playroom...

I stayed in a single room with breakfast and dinner included. There is a good choice at the buffet. It was my first experience tasting Bulgarian food and it was delicious. The hotel is in a good location. Close to the train station and hiking trails. It feels so refreshing to come back from a day outside and then go soak in the pool or do a sauna session. I really enjoyed my stay here.

Old school yet quite budget. Reminds me of the 70s hotels in Spain. Rooms were clean and mattress very comfortable. Swimming pool with mineral water, Finnish Sauna and small pool for the small ones. The hotel food was God, not wow but good. Personnel was quite young and helpful and friendly. Took the all-inclusive option.

Very nice hotel, good service, open air aqua park, tennis court, football playground, internal swimming pools and jakuzzi, terraces, good food and drink list, just by the pine forest, pure fresh air, away from hustle and bustle. Highly recommend.

The rooms are nice, bed is with springs not very comfortable. Food is hit or miss some things I liked others were bland. Outdoor pool is shallow perfect for kids to play. Indoor pool is nice and warm 1.2-1.6m depth.

It could be better actually... Not really good place for holiday and to spend your time. Missing small but important things like hairdryer, water jug and etc and very low quality bath accessories. Double bed instead of one large.. But most important was the lack of place to hang out at the evenings after dinner like playing room where you can spend your time. Kashmir is most likely the best SPA resort in Bulgaria (together with Zornitza). The facility is great, SPA zone is also outstanding, it is very clean & very cozy. You can't go wrong with them. The half board is great, the food is delicious and the staff is smiling and friendly. One downside is they don't have bidet shower in the restrooms. Amazing! Staff is super helpful and professional and the spa facilities are simply outstanding; all in a secluded forest atmosphere. Restaurant has a select menu and is one of the best we’ve tried in Bulgaria. Best choice for our honeymoon!!
