Our room was spacious and the view of the opposite neighbourhood and the mountains was spectacular, especially when snowy. The lobby was nicely decorated. Nevertheless, it is a refurbished old hotel in late-80s socialist style. That means no luxury should be expected and the SPA centre, the rooms and the indoor restaurant looks passable but not great.

We went on our summer holiday in Aura hotel in Velingrad for a few days. It's a lovely hotel with one big pool and a few small ones all with mineral water. Food was delicious. We took opportunity of spa procedures and it was great. Highly recommended.

Looking nice, calm and clean. Pools are small and not overcrowded. Greek style outdoors - statues, chairs, colours. Staff was very busy but nice. 20lv is the fee for using the pools when you are not a guest of 5he hotel. Which is OK but should be adjusted depending on the time you want to use it. The rooms are terribly small, those facing the Balkans. The procedures are very messy and you have to keep track of the hours every day, and when you have a bath and then other procedures, it's a lot of running.

It is a nice and clean family hotel. During our stay it was realy overcrowded, despite Covid it looked and felt overbooked. The parking and spa are realy not ment for so many visitors. Probably if it was not so busy we would have liked it more.

It is a decent hotel, not very luxurious but it is ok. The surrounding area is peaceful and many rooms have a mountain view. The renovated rooms (deluxe) are definitely a better choice than the standard ones. There is a spa center with sauna, steam bath and a few swimming pools, also 2 fitness rooms. Even though the hotel was fully booked the stay here was quite enjoyable.

Love this place. Charming, old style, rustic and attractive. The courtyard is beautiful and there are kittens playing. The restaurant downstairs is affordable, healthy and delicious. The room has lots of wood and it has a good feeling. It's GREAT value for the price.

I love it! The location is very good, peaceful and quite with amazing view. Rooms are big enough with king size bed and personally our terrace was HUGE. The rooms are pretty spacious, the bathroom as well. It is very clean with some minor exceptions. The spa area has plenty of options, pools with different water temperature, sauna, etc. Absolutely everyone from the staff whom we met was friendly, polite and welcoming which we highly appreciated. The bathrooms need some cleaning - showers have mold. It is also not a smoke-free hotel. People smoke on the balconies, so the smoke gets into the adjacent rooms. It also hosts events, which is great but could get noizy at times for the guests. It does have great views and staff is very friendly. The restaurant is pricey for what it offers. I guess that's why it is quite empty in the evenings.

The place is perfect for couples or families . We had a really good time during our stay. The rooms, food and service were very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful, taking care of everyone. I went to Akvatonik from Turkey 7 times.Everything was excellent. Breakfast , employee and nature was perfect. But last time indoor pool water was a little cold and some buttons were not working. We will go again in November. I hope the waters will warm up by then:)

The hotel was clean, with friendly staff. We had a various food at breakfast and dinner. The “economy” room was really small with no view at all. The spa zone is not big.

Expensive if you buy all your drinks in the hotel. They even sell the local mineral water for 5 times the price. The communication with the staff is broken. Often I am assured something would be fixed but did not happen so they need improvement. They clean the outer small pool but I have not seen that happening for the big inside pool. I think it is too expensive for the ordinary tourist.

The hotel location is good and has good views. The staff was good and helpful The standard of the hotel definitely doesn't match with a 4 star hotel. It need refreshing. The jacuzzi near the pool looked really dirty and smelled like urine which completely disgusted me and I never went back anywhere near.

The quality has declined over the years. It used to be a good hotel, but now it seems to be neglected. The hotel is average according my opinion. For a five star hotel the rooms are very small, the restaurant is also small and only the SPA centre is great and compensates for the other two.

Our new favorite place to relax. Facilities, food and atmosphere was amazing. The best part - adult only. One of few such places in Bulgaria and much much needed if you need true relaxation and don't want to be annoyed. We'll be coming back many many more times for sure.

Lovely clean and well kept hotel. The rooms are modern and specious with a fantastic balcony. The only downside for me was the temperature of the outdoor pool. It was too cold, impossible to use in October. The indoor pool was rather cold too, around 30C. The food was ok. The diner was mostly cooked meat and fresh salad, no choice or rise or potatoes dishes.

It's definitely not worth the four stars category. Rooms are OK, but nothing special. The main disadvantages - SPA is one of the worst I have ever been. The pool is so small, practically you can only stand still there if more than 5 person are in at the same time. The sauna is also very small and it's only dry with no watering.
