DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Toronto Airport West

The hotel rooms were great, beds comfortable, restaurant servers very good and good pretty good, cookies were yummy and airport shuttle convenient and prompt. HOWEVER we will not stay and leave our car here, or anywhere in the area again- as when we got back from our vacation we discovered our licence plates had been stolen from our car in the parking garage. Police said the plates were used in a crime. Now dealing with that. The hotel desk staff did not seem overly surprised nor were they very helpful or sympathetic about this incident. The police also said this is very common in the area and we were lucky it wasn’t the whole car that was taken…It is unfortunate that this is what the area has become like. We were so worried about taking a trip to the US and it turned out we had no issues at all while away - the only issue we had was back in Canada… :( I’d recommend the hotel add more security features to the parking aspect of their services.

Danielle at the front desk was absolutely amazing—very kind, well-groomed, and professional. The manager was also very accommodating, and together they made me feel genuinely welcomed during my stay. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the hallways, and my bed sheets had a strong odor of sweat. Since I arrived late in the evening, I had to spray the room and sheets with perfume in hopes of masking the smell, as there wasn’t time to have them changed. Overall, the front desk experience was exceptional, but housekeeping definitely needs improvement
While the beds were surprisingly comfortable, the overall cleanliness of the place left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, the sheets had a strong smell of sweat, which made me question whether they had been changed or washed properly. It was quite unpleasant and concerning. The hallways were also extremely dirty, adding to the impression that cleanliness is not a priority here. This really housekeeping really needs improvement
Because the guest service was so extraordinary with Danielle and the hotel manager accommodating my reservation due to my late flight arrival as well as the extraordinary service and food I. The restaurant, it's really unfortunate the cleanliness of hallways at 7pm with sheets and garbage and bad odor of the sheets
It's just a really mix experience. But customer service has AAA plus

My stay was extended by 2 days after this post, unfortunately really poor check out but Saadal, never ask how my stay was just pointed to the key box, when I asked for a copy of my receipt she said I need to contact booking.com and I asked for receipt for parking, she responded very inconvenienced.

Hotel was a real disappointment, other than the few team members that apply exceptional customer service, Danielle, the cleaning lady and the waiter in the evenings.

Horrible no shuttle at airport have to schedule a time for pick up. At check in there visa processing machines didn’t work so took forever to get room keys. Room was horrible I guess all there double rooms are disabled rooms so can’t hang your clothing without them dragging on the floor and wash room has disabled chair taking up half the bathroom no room to move around. Pillows were nice that’s it !
