If booking a Baseball Stadium View Room be aware that you may NOT get the room you booked. Many months ago I booked the Larger King Room with Sofa Bed for this past weekend. The room says occupancy is 3 but I thought I’d be alright with my husband and 2 sons – it’s a full sized sofa bed. We get to our room after driving 9.5 hours to find a king bed and 2 club chairs – no sofa bed. I called down to the front desk and I was told that I need to find the email confirmation to prove what type of room I booked. I was then told to stop arguing about the room not being correct and make a decision – move to a room that is not the same category that I booked or have a rollaway bed delivered. We had a roll away delivered - so my youngest slept on a cot that wouldn’t have been comfortable for a toddler and my oldest slept on the chairs for 2 nights. When I spoke to the manager the next day he apologized for the ‘inconvenience’ but told me that some of the sofa beds have broken and they haven’t been replaced. I’m not sure of how this situation was just an ‘inconvenience’. How is a room with one king bed supposed to fit three people?? I would not normally be this upset about a mistake with a room. But this was a long road trip with my family and this was the ultimate room experience for my sports loving boys. I spent a lot of money on the room for a once in a lifetime experience. I ended up with a room that my boys were uncomfortable in and it was NOT what I booked. I had even called the week before to confirm that my room would be a king bed AND sleep sofa. So if you are planning to book one of these rooms with children be very cautious that you may not get what you have paid for! And honestly the hotel did not seem to think it was too big of an issue.
