L'Hermitage Hotel in Vancouver

Great little hotel in the heart of a well serviced area, providing walking distance to restaurants, shops and the waterfront. The room was a good size and there were numerous chairs providing good seating options as opposed to just having to sit on the bed. The staff on check-in and in L’Orangerie were friendly, very accommodating and provided wonderful service. Would stay again.

Beautiful property, staff was great. The area along Richard St was a bit sketchy. Be careful walking late at night.

Exceeded expectations.
This hotel provided everything we needed and more. There is a nice sitting area—it’s not just squeezed in. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were particularly good quality. It was quiet too. Plus the heating system worked as it should. Everything I look for in a hotel room!

The staff here was extremely friendly. Probably the nicest staff I've seen at a hotel. Room was clean, bed was insanely comfortable. A bit noisy, I dont know if it was the fridge or the AC but there was weird noises on and off. I wish we'd used the pool but the bed was too comfy, we slept in lol. The parking was actually cheaper than most Vancouver hotels, they have valet parking but we have a manual car and a lot of Canadians have never driven one so we opt to park it ourselves. The location is great but we stayed with several friends from the Island and just hung out in our room ( we are locals we just like to stay at hotels randomly)

Beautiful hotel in middle of the city. It reminded us of being in Paris. Staff was all incredible

Large room. Attentive staff. Enjoyed using the bicycles. Beautiful lap pool and hot tub. Not too busy.

My husband and I stayed overnight in Vancouver to see a hockey game. The hotel is close to many amazing restaurants within walking distance. It is also close to Rogers Stadium so that is always nice so we don’t have to pay for parking or cabs.

The staff were amazing and accommodating as we’d asked to have a room with a balcony, which they were able to do. We had dinner out but had brunch in their restaurant which is on the 5th floor. The atmosphere was so magical, all decorated for Christmas but it was also warm and inviting.
For whatever reason (maybe bcause it was a Tuesday morning) we were the only ones in the restaurant until half way through our brunch, then only one other couple shared the dining room with us. The food was INCREDIBLE and our server Lee was the sweetest most kind person I’ve ever meet. After our brunch we sat by the fireplace with our coffees, relaxing before our 12 pm checkout. It felt like we were in a Manhattan brownstone. We will definitely be coming back in the future and certainly will recommend this hotel to our friends. Staying at LHermitage was an oasis in the midst of a very hard 3 weeks of me just having lost my mom. Thank you 🎄❤️

Great boutique high end hotel. Service and location outstanding. Beds comfortable and room is clean. Nice bathroom s. Balcony was great to enjoy the beautiful weather. Cafe Medina next door is Michelin rated and off the charts. Locals tip: Vancouver Public library is 3 minutes away. On a nice day, take a beverage and book to the roof top and read amidst a rose garden.
