L'Hermitage Hotel

Great boutique high end hotel. Service and location outstanding. Beds comfortable and room is clean. Nice bathroom s. Balcony was great to enjoy the beautiful weather. Cafe Medina next door is Michelin rated and off the charts. Locals tip: Vancouver Public library is 3 minutes away. On a nice day, take a beverage and book to the roof top and read amidst a rose garden.

Absolutely amazing, loved staying here. The nicest boutique hotel I have ever stayed and the staff were so friendly to approach and always happy to help. Great location to get around town.

This hotel is fantastic. The patio was huge, the bathroom had a deep soaking tub, a relaxing rainfall shower with very good hot water and pressure and the toilet is in a separate room from the tub/shower/sink. The high tea at their restaurant was SO GOOD and worth the price. There is no ice machine/snack machine or microwave in room which was fine because the location is right by tons of restaurants, shopping and a grocery store. The parking in the garage was great as parking on the street in Vancouver BC is expensive and difficult to find a spot. This hotel is entirely walkable though.
Oh and the chess tables in the loungy/restaurant area was a nice touch. ;)

They let us check in a couple hours earlier and gave us a much unexpected upgrade! Staff was wonderful in the lobby and in the restaurant as well, the room was nice and cozy, super clean (I’m a clean freak) and both the room and the towels didnt smell like harsh chemicals which I loved. Super walkable to some of the tourist spots and lots of restaurants and cafes. 10/10 will stay here again next time in Vancouver :)

The finest hotel I have ever had the pleasure of staying. Staff is impeccable. The room is spacious and well appointed. The bathroom is huge with a separate WC. Good ventilation on all four rooms. It's super quiet, just an awesome place. If I could give 10 stars, I would. I was not compensated in any way for this review

Wonderful, quiet hotel conveniently located within walking distance of Rogers Arena and many other downtown sights. Room was spacious and modern with a private terrace area. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly and went out of their way to accommodate all of our needs. Highly recommend this hotel. I rarely, if ever, give a 5/5 rating, but this property definitely deserves it. This place is a real gem and our new go-to place when visiting downtown Vancouver. Well done.

Boutique hotel in great location in downtown Vancouver. Room was modern, clean with fake gas fireplace, free bottled water on the first day and good hot rain shower. Parking was a bit tricky as they are not currently offering valet service - parking on the street to check in is stressful and then you have to self park in the underground - parking spaces are small and you are assigned a specific one. You need to be escorted out of the parking lot by a hotel employee on check out - not sure if this would've been necessary if we had used the car during our stay (we chose not to). Hopefully the parking situation is sorted once they finish their renovations.
One suggestion is regarding the lounge located on level 5. It's a strange set up - there are board games down there and you can order drinks and limited food in the afternoons (or go there for breakfast - cost not included in room rate) but the room set up is too formal - tables are already set with linen napkins and silverware. Perhaps including some couches/lower tables and rethinking the layout/decor would encourage guests to use the lounge more and order a drink there. The space doesn't currently have an especially welcoming or relaxed vibe.
