The hotel is in a good location, next to the Vancouver Museum, convenient for shopping, and Stanley Park is nearby. The environment is good, the facilities are good, the service is good, and there is afternoon tea. I am satisfied 👍

This is a historic hotel with a long history. The location is perfect, convenient for everything: dining, attractions, and shopping. It's right in the heart of the city. There's a public parking garage next to the hotel, but it's a separate fee and not included. The soundproofing is a common problem in many hotels: The guests in the adjacent room howled in the hallway around 1:30 a.m. every night, and then banged on the door again around 7 a.m. It's unclear what country they were from. This isn't a hotel issue, but it did disrupt my sleep. Overall, I recommend staying here.

Vancouver's most iconic, time-honored hotel, boasts a prime downtown location. The hotel has three entrances, and the surrounding area is lined with top-tier designer stores. Their afternoon tea is also among the most sophisticated in Vancouver.

We love this hotel so much that we stayed twice during our trip. It has a classical elegant feel to it. We loved the lounge access and all of the amenities. Great location too!

The room is spacious, the bathroom is a little small, and the location is excellent. It is in the city center and very convenient to go to various museums. The pier is in the distance, and it is very pleasant to watch the sunset and seaplanes. The nearby Chinese restaurant Qilin serves authentic Cantonese cuisine.

We recently stayed at the Fairmont Vancouver and were pleased with its excellent location, conveniently close to designer shops and fine dining options. The spacious rooms provided ample comfort, although they had a more traditional feel. Initially, we encountered a minor issue with mold in our first room’s bathroom. However, the staff were quick to address the situation and promptly relocated us to a different room. While the amenities were functional, they did show signs of aging. Overall, we appreciated the hotel's prime location and the attentive service.

I stay in Vancouver somewhat regularly for vacations and decided to try the Fairmont vs my usual stay at the Shangri-La. I walked away impressed and under a clear understanding that this is a well-managed property. While this is one of the few places I have no status (darn!), my family was still treated fabulously. I noted in the reservation that it was my sister’s birthday and they had desert and a card waiting in the room. How thoughtful! Additionally, I called to make sure my sister could check in prior to my arrival which they quickly made happen. When she got there she was informed we were “guests of the day” and were being treated to drinks! Start to finish this hotel was great. I want the staff know how much I appreciated the attention to great service. It was noticed and appreciated!!
