Fairmont Hotel Vancouver

For an expensive well known hotel chain, the hotel rooms are not up to par with the price that you pay. Our room had a large number of black scuff marks all over the walls (will include pictures). The rooms have makeshift duvet covers on their beds. By that, I mean they do not have real duvet covers. They use two sheets and sandwich the duvet in between them. On our last night, we turned on the shower, and brown water with stuff in it came out of the taps before running clear. Check in time is at 3pm. Our room wasn’t ready until 4:50pm. The customer service is the only thing that is on par with the price. The staff were friendly and respectful. Other than that, it is NOT worth the price. You can stay in cheaper hotels that don’t have an abundance of scuff marks on the walls, can afford real duvet covers, have clear water that runs when you turn on the shower, and offer a punctual check in time. Save your money and book a different hotel.
