Past Or Tail Hostel in Larnaka

If you don`t have anywhere else to stay, and only then, go to this old hostel.
old pillows, worn out sheets, the shower gets flooded once you turn on the water.
the internal balcony is a smoking zone so the whole place smells like cigarretes.
One of the worst hostel I`ve been to.
Skip it and find a place to stay in advance. Everywhere else would be more decent then this.

Me and my friends stayed at this hostel for one night but the experience was terrible. Beds smelled bad and were a bit humid. Everything was dirty. In the shower we find out two cockroach… in fact we didn’t have the courage to use the bathroom. There were also a cockroach in one of our rooms. I attach below the image of the cockroaches in the shower.
Don’t go there for any reason.

Need to improve
1. Wifi: too low. I wasn’t able to use it at the night and morning.
2. It looked clean but it has bad smell everywhere as homeless…
3. Valuable Locker: Although there is in each room , it doesn’t work. Because there is no wall on backside. That’s strange too much.
4. Hot shower : it was no hot water, even through I switch on as members of the staff. Taking a shower made me getting so cold. Floor is always wetty.

5.bed cover : It seems to be no washing for a long, because it smells bad and a bit humid….:(

6.Recommend for young girls pay attention
Old man who is a receptionist and housekeeper should learn manners more. When I changed clothes in my room, he came in suddenly without knocking. He saw my changing clothes. Although I accepted another improvements , because of this incident, I decided to check out this hostel soon. I definitely won’t stay here anymore even though the cost is one of the cheapest in Larnaka. That’s like nightmare for me. I don’t know why my review was disappeared on Booking.com., but I don want to stay there at all…

It smells nice in the hostel when you come and administrator was nice and helpful but there are no any other advantages there.

I stayed here for one night only and there wasn't hot water during all my stay. First day I took the cold shower, because I was very tired after my trip and needed a refreshment. But still I couldn't wash my hair, it was too cold for me.
I asked their administrator what's the problem and he said that I had to wait a little bit more and then it's getting warmer. I said that I waited for very long time but nothing happened. The next morning I woke up and I really hoped that I am going to take a hot shower and finally to wash my hair. But no, the same problem. I wrote to administrator - he said that there's a hot water. I said NO, there is not. Finally he came to the second floor to the bathroom (topless lol, why?) and saw himself that I was right. He called the boss and the boss said: just wait till the sun becomes warmer and then the water will become warmer. But it's a lie! Because it was already 11 in the morning and it was extremely sunny. And the day before it was sunny too. So, he lied. Other guests were also complaining about that but no one cares.

There is no air conditioning in the room so they use a fan which is noisy and old.
I booked a bed in the room for 4 persons and it was written that there are still 3 free places, so I thought that I would be lucky enough to be alone there. But no, they gave me the bed in the other room (not that one that I saw on the photos) and where all beds were busy with people who live there for months.

As a bonus, I had to pay one euro for a towel that wasn't clean at all.

Never stay there if you don't want to feel yourself like a homeless person without any money. Never again, thank you, bye.

An extremely low-quality hostel; probably the worst one, I have ever stayed in.

Pros:

- location: 7-10 walking minutes to the promenade; grocery stores and fitness centres in the area too.

- good internet

Cons:

- poor service and impolite staff

- uncomfortable beds and pillows;

- unpleasant smell in the room which makes it really hard to fall asleep;

- too hot in the room, no AC working.

- poor light in the whole property;

- super old furniture;

- no towels provided

- only one key for everyone for entering the building

Price/value ratio - 2/10!

Not recommend it.
