Mercure Larnaca Beach Resort in Larnaka

I spent two days here for a solo mini break between Christmas and New Year. The hotel is modern with a luxe feel. The staff were all consistently helpful and friendly. It's located right on the beach and has plenty of sun loungers. My room was comfortable with an excellent shower and a beautiful sea view. The smoothie bar is a real plus too. The hotel is currently next to multiple large scale construction sites (nothing to do with the hotel) which is not ideal so the area is very much a work-in-progress. I'd happily stay here again.

Visited with my mum end of Dec 25 & everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations. Deluxe room with balcony & sea view was light, spacious & clean . Breakfast buffet had a superb selection of hot & cold choices. The staff in the hotel were magnificent. They couldn’t do enough for us , they met our every needs. A special thanks to Steve & Evie . We will be returning & highly recommended this hotel .

Had lunch in the restaurant yesterday with a friend. We live here in Oroklini so are fairly frequent visitors here for lunch. As always staff were lovely and attentive especially Stephen Holding who is usually on bar but is now in restaurant. He was very efficient and knowledgeable on all dishes on the menu and was attentive and friendly to us both. He recommended some lovely cocktails to us after our meal and they were spot on! Highly recommend a visit to this lovely place. Felt very welcome and special !

Excellent, modern hotel.
Good pools, good beach (a ***** of stone on entry, but sandy bottom further on). Nice seaside walk running for miles to Larnaca.
A room a bit small but functional. Breakfast tasty and good quality.
We had a room with a sea view and it was a good choice. Other rooms may have a building site view ;-)

Negatives:
Mosquitos !!! There are mosquitos, even in November and we were punished for desire to sleep with open window listening to the sea.
Hotel should research for any small water deposits (building site?) and use some chemicals to rid off mosquitos.
The key card stopped working at 11.30 am - the reception explained that it was OK as in just 30 min at 12.00 is the check-out time. My wife was inside otherwise I would need to run 100 meters to reception to get my bags to the car.
No taverna or restaurant in walking distance. The neighbourhood pretty rough and not attractive.

Extremely friendly staff, very helpful and would always go the extra mile to help you. Location is by the beach and next to a good seafood restaurant. However, it is far from the airport, city centre and the shopping mall. It depends on your needs and breakfast was good!

This hotel in Larnaca is highly recommended! The environment is absolutely beautiful, the service is outstanding, and the facilities are very new. The breakfast spread is extensive, and the restaurant itself is lovely, overlooking the beach. There were many people strolling on the sand and enjoying the water.

A highly recommended beachfront resort. If you're staying in Larnaca, you definitely shouldn't miss this one!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a couples getaway from the city to escape the autumnal rain of our county, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The hotel is set right by a gorgeous private beach, which felt wonderfully peaceful and exclusive for guests. We stayed in room 305, which offered stunning views of the beach – the view was truly magical.
The staff were all so friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel at home straight away. The hotel itself was spotless and had such a lovely, fresh scent throughout the buildings – small details that really make a difference.
One of the sweetest surprises was the group of friendly hotel cats, who are clearly very well cared for. They added such a warm and charming touch to the atmosphere.
The food was another highlight! Both breakfast and the evening meals offered a wonderful selection – everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented.
Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better escape from the city. If you’re looking for a relaxing beach retreat with great service, amazing food, and a touch of charm, this hotel is perfect. We’ll definitely be returning! 🌊🐾💙

We had a wonderful experience at the Mercure Larnaca Beach Resort. Our sea view room was fantastic and we were very happy with the accommodation overall. The breakfast was great, and the pizza was exceptionally delicious—highly recommended! The staff were all kind and helpful. We had absolutely no complaints. A perfect stay! Maximum rating from us.
