Golden Bay Beach Hotel

This is an awesome resort ! Beautiful building by a lovely beach with palm trees, very nice views from the balconies (the homes nearby are nice villas, some have pools).

The common areas are spectacular, very pleasant and inviting. The rooms are also modern, spacious and comfortable. Fancy bathroom with all the amenities and supplies.

Breakfast is fantastic, in a beautiful and elegant dining room. The food is rich, tasty and fresh, with so many options to choose from. Excellent service, they make you a cappuccino, latte etc, or you can serve yourself juices, including multivitamin.

This resort is beautiful and great in every way, recommended :-)

Large hotel, courteous professional service, high-level dining room. We celebrated my wife's birthday, they pampered her with champagne and sang a birthday cake, it was really exciting. Spa and facilities, everything at a high level. We will return again on our next visit to our beloved Cyprus.

It's a nice hotel that offers great value for money. Rooms are spacious, overlooking the sea on all sides. You can see the sunrise or sunset, depending on the orientation. A nice terrace to eat outside and have a super view. Take a look at the photos and you'll definitely want to be there! Staff is very friendly and they offered to give me a late check-out given that my flight out of Cyprus was quite late in the evening.

I will start with the minuses because the positives greatly outnumbered the negative. The hotel is rather tired but still very comfortable. The beach towels and the towels in the rooms are in urgent need of renewal. The pillows are compressed and the mattresses are rather dirty but still very comfortable. BUT the service is phenomenal, everybody from the staff is very kind and very helpful, breakfast is excellent, coffee is fantastic, the view from the breakfast terrace is breathtaking, the view from our room was exceptional, the bar is wonderful, one can really relax in this hotel, it never feels overcrowded even in high times. The beach is private and has the most amazing sunrise, the sand is soft, with a mixture of tiny colourful polished pebbles, the sea is wonderful and if you have a car you can go to the nearby famous beaches within minutes but one can have a great holiday only staying at the hotel. The restaurant is also very good. Parking is enough and it is free of charge and comfortable. If they renovate the rooms, the hotel will be unbeatable but even in this condition we will come back again for sure! Thank you for the wonderful holiday we had!

We had a wonderful stay at Golden Bay Beach Hotel. The beachfront location was perfect, with stunning views. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We loved the outdoor spa, pool, and the snooker table for some fun downtime . Overall, it's a fantastic spot for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommended!

There are a lot of mixed feelings for this hotel. While the staff is wonderful, kids friendly, patient, and very useful, the hotel itself is more of a 4 minus stars. It needs a lot of improvements. Probably at the beginning, it was a 5 stars one, but not anymore. I have added some pictures. Humidity in some rooms and in the bathrooms, the bathrooms are quite small ( we are a family of 4 and do not have where to hang 4 bath towels after shower), and the ventilation in it does not work, so....
Furniture in some rooms is quite oldish.
The beds are good, but the pillows are uncomfortable.
The cleaning is done daily and really good service.

The restaurant is a big plus, too. The food is really good and quite diversified. Somebody checks all the time what happens in the restaurant and serving staff is great! They are like little bees working with and for you and keeping you happy.
Another thing I like a lot is the reservation of sunbeds on the beach/pool area. Quite smart idea that you can reserve it at the beginning of your stay. You can move if you want, but the place you chose stays yours for the entire time. Cool! Not having to worry about this is relaxing.
Another sadness is the outside playground, which looks oldish and sad. There's not much to do for my 5 years old who found it very boring. I have added a photo with it to understand.
The weather now, at the end of October, is also great, and the water is super nice.

We celebrated several special events in Golden Bay in July 2024 with our families. We planned most of the events remotely and flew in few days before. The staff were very attentive and went the extra mile for us and for our guests.

The hotel is beautiful and spacious with many facilities that suit different ages and interests. The location of the hotel complements its beauty. The rooms were clean and well-equipped. The breakfast and lunch buffets were rich in flavour and quite diverse.

Highly recommended for your special events!

We stayed at the grand suite. The room was big and clean, with a fantastic sea view. The staff was great and helped with any request.
The sea is very close to the pool, so it's easy and comfortable to visit each location.
The spa is a little overpriced for the treatments, but overall, it was also excellent.
I will return to this hotel on my next stay in the Larnaca area.
