Spent one restful night and had a hearty beef burger with chilli sauce while watching the world cup. Staff friendly and attentive.

The rooms have free unsecured WiFi, which is not mentioned in the room information yet as it is newly installed: because it is unsecured, I recommend using a VPN service to protect login credentials and other sensitive data

Breakfast buffet featuring local cuisine at the hotel restaurant is provided, and other meals are on your own. The buffet caters to local tastes, so foreigners may find it strange and some items off putting

The hot water heater for our area failed one evening, which made us call the main desk (no fun for small kids playing at the beach all day to have a cold shower), and it was promptly fixed by morning

Old hotel that is currently being renovated. Prime location, close to the beach. Excellent dining room on the top floor. Good cuisine, very friendly staff.

The hotel is in a great location, 5 minutes walking from the infamous Ahlbeck's Bridge. Rooms are pretty spacious and there is a swimming pool covered

Breakfast buffet is really complete and served in the sixth floor with amazing views of the sea

Breakfast buffet was great with many options, staff at restaurant is helpful and this Prime restaurant on 6th floor has amazing view. Pool is very clear and all facilities are great. You can rent cycle here as well.

Everything was perfect, the room, the personnel , very good breakfast, nice spa, and best location in Usedom. The hotel manager surprised my on with a birthday present from the hotel, which we found a very nice gesture

The best hotel in town, centrally located on the 12 km long seafront promenade. Don't expect the top level of an Adlon (Berlin), but it has an elegant and nostalgic atmosphere

I gave 9 points instead of 10 because of the internet (Wi-Fi) was very slow

Hands down, this is one of the most unique hotels I have ever stayed in

Food in the external located restaurant was ok, prices are higher than average. Breakfast buffet was super, great value for money and everything you could wanted

Sauna area was smaller than expected and other guests using the pool walked through the quiet/resting area, so not too much relaxation possible unfortunately

.Nice breakfast selection, if you sit at the terrace you will enjoy a scenic view of the golf course. The staff was very attentive. Fully recommended

Balcony door needed to be kept open over night to control the temperature inside the room due to no installed A/C

A strange smell came from the bathroom which got worse when the door was kept shut, so I had to leave it open

Overall it was a nice getaway but I would not come back here for another vacation

Great hotel. On the first line near the sea. Great service. The Breakfast is super!! Even with champagne! Pool and sauna good. The rooms are spacious, fireplaces, refrigerators and kitchens. Recommend!!!

Here, the bathrobes are especially for the use in the wellness area and were therefore of a very good quality. In the room there was a small electronic safe - unfortunately not big enough for camera and notebook

Great hotel, very friendly and helpful, location right on the promenade makes visiting the beach very easy, you walk right in with your robe on and that's before breakfast.

Vegan food: As we were their first vegan guests, they were still struggling to provide vegan food but were very committed and engaged. They can serve a good vegan breakfast now here if you ask in advance

We had an amazing sea view from the room (and even the bathroom). The room was beautifully designed, comfortable, and clean. We came with our cat, and everyone from the staff was so welcoming, friendly, and helpful

The Hotel Kastell is a very elegant, relatively small hotel in the pedestrian zone in Ahlbeck with the best location on the beach, with a view of the promenade and some with a view of the water

Everything just fits together. What I would like to highlight in particular and what I noticed very positively was the warm welcome when I checked in. We were welcomed in a friendly and courteous manner

The entrance area, as well as the bar, the dining area and the rooms are all equipped with elegant wooden furniture. Even if I'm more of a modern, I found the hotel incredibly charming and elegant

And the service too! I have nothing to complain about and can use the hotel with a clear conscience. Next time we are on Usedom again we will book again in Hotel Kastell!

A parking lot was provided for us. Our room was a junior suite on the top floor with an inland view. The breakfast left nothing to be desired

It was a shame that the bar was not open in the evening and there was no restaurant. but unfortunately not possible in the Corona period. All in all, we were still very satisfied. The staff is very friendly and courteous

Reception only occasionally occupied. Unfortunately, the amount of water in the shower cannot be regulated, which is very uncomfortable. At breakfast a view of the sea is possible. Small vending machine corner for drinks

Very beautiful! Familiar, great team, very clean and the breakfast unique. Quite simply a great hotel, always with great pleasure. Oh, one more thing, the sea is not far, you just have to cross the beach promenade.

There is nothing wrong with it. Has been here for the second time. And a nice boss, as well as a very nice team. About 200 meters and you are on the beach. This time we even had a sea view

Very nice hotel and we fondly remember the short break last year and hope that we can come back soon. The contact for the pre-reservation for 2021 was again very pleasant.

There was a construction site across from our bungalow but luckily no construction during our summer visit. Very quiet and peaceful, even though it seemed fully booked. Good breakfast and rather expensive dinner options

We loved it! The bungalow is big, clean, has everything you need. The entire structure is dog friendly and the dog beach nearby is a dream. The staff is super nice.

I can only say good things, even if I had to cancel my departure on the day of departure for tragic reasons. I was able to find understanding and no cancellation fees were charged

Very nice little hotel in the 2nd row to the beach. Everything was well maintained and the staff was very nice. In the morning a great breakfast greets you. If you want, the ladies will also make you a nicely fried egg

The boss is the "Lord God" 😉 and you feel divinely treated as a guest. Everything was very clean, staff was very friendly, breakfast was great and many small things were thought of in the entire concept

That says a lot about the owner and I would like to stay here anytime on Usedom
