Good price for location. Quite complete facilities. Good bfast and dinner. The elevator stops between floors. So better prepare if u need to bring a stroller with u.

As always our favourite place to stay in the area. Ideal for station and bus transportation.

The Hotel is a bit old, but the room was very comfortable and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is probably the best aspect. It's a 5 minutes drive to the Königssee parking lot. There are many restaurants and supermarkets around. The breakfast is also excellent.

Nice, clean room with good view (3rd floor for 3 people), super reach breakfast, good sauna. Nothing to wish more for one day staying.

We were pleased to get a family room here as a walk-in. The family room was very spacious and had one large bed and two twin beds. The breakfast is included in the price. It was as close to an "American breakfast" that we've seen in a German hotel. It was walking distance to quite a few things including the train station.

This one is a very nice hotel. Got a great spacious room with super comfortable beds, a balcony with nice view to the Alps. Also included was a complementary breakfast. There is also plenty of parking available for free of charge.

There was free parking at the back. Check-in was easy and quick. The beds were okay, so was the bath room. We found the room was to hot during the night. We made use of the pool which was good, however if you use one their towels it costs you €5. The restaurant was also good, the free breakfast was good,

Very varying room sizes. The food is okay, not good nor bad. Service is fine. But the cleaning of the rooms could be stepped up.

We got a family room for our family of four and it's great (nearly a suite for a very good value). Very convenient to town and a decent breakfast. The pool is a bit small and can get loud but was appreciated since it was very hot while we were here.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Alpenhotel Fischer. The staff were lovely, speaking great English but being patient in letting me try speaking German too. Nice hotel, excellent staff, and nice continental breakfast. Did not have air condition or washer/dryer as advertised in *******. Did not know adult only meant clothing optional in pool/sauna and had a 14/17 year old booked with us prior to adult only. Would have appreciated knowing this.

I found the inflexible table seating policy disappointing. It felt like being treated as if in a prison or school, where guests staying in more expensive rooms were given priority and I was asked to only sit at the assigned table. This overshadowed what could have been an amazing stay, as the food and service were satisfactory. However, the rigid adherence to policies really tarnished the overall impression...

Authentic Bavaria This is the second time we have stayed here, and it keeps getting better! If you are looking for a quaint authentic German mountain hotel this is what you want! They are friendly and the breakfast is amazing! I highly recommend!

The hotel is run by two super lovely people, and you can tell how much time and love they invest in the hotel. Both come from the area and always have good tips on what to do in the vicinity. From the hotel you could enjoy the beautiful landscape, but the view of the hotel is also worthwhile. We stayed 3 nights. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We loved the view from the balcony. We found all staff helpful and friendly and enjoyed the breakfast. The location is great for those travelling without a car. A short walk to the train station and the centre. Bike parking is provided.

Quality of your stay may depend on the specific room you are assigned to. Booked a Double Room via HRS and was confronted with room 11 (two beds in two separate! tiny rooms). Checked with reception and they moved us to room 3 with lots of space and even a separate, living room like room with great mountain view. Breakfast was good, missing a local touch though.

Stayed here twice in the last four years, very central hotel, free parking in the middle of town. Nice breakfast too. Will definitely stay again

The view is absolutely breathtaking! Breakfast was buffet style with many options. Our room was just what I pictured a room wood be like in such a scenic alpine setting, with large windows, balconies and comfy beds.

Wonderful hospitality. Terrific facilities(best sauna I have been in). Beautiful view. Rooms felt like home. Interior decorating was very well done and pleasant. The staff was very accommodating. Evening was expertly prepared and the presentation rivaled a 5 Star Hotel.

Stayed here for a few days while holidaying in the area. It's situated in the hills on a short distance out of town. If you are a walker and want to hike that's ok, else you can drive in. If driving to it, you have to come out of the city centre, turn left up a long hill and then very sharp right, although there is a turning on the left for you to use to get the car round, else you will never do...

Very cosy mountain hotel. Perfect for family vacation, relaxing environment, pool and sauna available. It is 15 minutes away from Berchtesgaden centre, up and down some very steep hills. We used this as a base to visit, Salzburg, The Eagle’s Nest, Konigsee and others. Great hotel! Wonderful location too, 15 minute walk into the Bertchesgarten, we walked several beautiful routes on an evening. Rooms comfortable and clean, fridge, hairdryer. We had a balcony with a wonderful view of the rolling hills and mountains. Continental breakfast was fresh and varied. Only one coffee machine so you can when it's busy.

We loved our stay here! The owners and very friendly and welcoming, they really added to our stay in Berchtesgaden. Ample parking on site and a good menu of local food. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. We definitely would stay again!

My brothr and myself had the pleasure to stay here last September (2018). Brilliant place, clean, and Theo and his wife were wonderful hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them. I hope to return Sept 2019.

Great place with good location, home atmosphere. Owners are taking care of everything by them selves, nice people. Rooms could be in a better shape, as well as towels more fresh. Not that place i would like to visit over and over again, but overall good experience. We stayed for 4 nights.

Not a bad place for the price but not the best. Room is very dated and smells as such. Bathroom is tiny, shower is even smaller, a larger person would have trouble. No soaps or shampoos provided, towels not washed after 1 night. Shower doesn't even have a place to lay soap and things, and the temperature varies without touching the knob. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area. The rooms are clean and everything you need for an efficient stay. My wife and I stayed here for three nights. Close to everything. No buffet breakfast due to covid. But they will serve you breakfast in their dining room. Our room was small but clean. No elevator so I was hauling two 50 lbs luggages up the stairs. Perfect place to stay if you love the outdoors..

Clean and comfy. Conveniently close to town center and train station. Trains pass right in front a few times a day so noise can be a bit unpleasant. No views to speak of. Breakfast was a bit crowded and limited.

Great place to stay, good breakfast, wifi works, easy walking to mainstation, clean rooms, good tourist information. Negative is traintrack in front of the house, you have to cross a fast lane street (quite dangerous), cash only on check out. I would recommend and stay again for a short trip

Location was extremely close to a bus stop with links to Salzburg. Then a walk or bus ride down to the main bus station for trips to places like Lake Konigssee, Ramsau/Lake Hintersee. Watzmann Therme was right behind the b&b too and just a short walk into the main town. Really cozy and great location. Parking is a small walk away. Only downside is the shared bathrooms (there are two, one with shower) however there are only 3 rooms upstairs so we didn't run into any issues for showering but a couple times we had to wait for the bathroom.

The most friendly host welcomes you into her home, where the first floor is made into the hotel. Wonderful breakfast included and only 5 minutes walking distance to the old town center complete with a castle and lovely cafes.

Very good location - Königssee and Hintersee are easy to reach (within 15mins) with cars. Close to the city center too. The owner is very friendly, rooms are clean, good breakfast is included. Highly recommended.

The hotel is very clean, the host speaks excellent English, is not more than a five minute walk to the train station or a fifteen minute walk to downtown if you take the stairs to town behind the train station. The breakfasts are provided and all you can eat, and they sell beer pretty cheap if you just want to kick back and relax after a day of hiking in our around the Alps. It's easy to get anywhere...

Nice hotel with a great mountain view.

A nice cosy place on the top of a hill. Brilliant views of the surrounding mountains. A short 10 minute walk away from the nearest bus stop. The owner, Antoni, was very friendly and helpful. He gave us tips everyday on places we could see and how to get around.
