I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area. The rooms are clean and everything you need for an efficient stay. The location is a convenient short walk from the train station. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. I learned the hard way that I was very allergic to duck-feather pillows staying one night at this hotel. I called the owner, close to midnight...

My wife and I stayed here for three nights. Close to everything. No buffet breakfast due to covid. But they will serve you breakfast in their dining room. Our room was small but clean. No elevator so I was hauling two 50 lbs luggages up the stairs. Perfect place to stay if you love the outdoors..

Clean and comfy. Conveniently close to town center and train station. Trains pass right in front a few times a day so noise can be a bit unpleasant. No views to speak of. Breakfast was a bit crowded and limited.

Great place to stay, good breakfast, wifi works, easy walking to mainstation, clean rooms, good tourist information. Negative is traintrack in front of the house, you have to cross a fast lane street (quite dangerous), cash only on check out. I would recommend and stay again for a short trip

The hotel is very clean, the host speaks excellent English, is not more than a five minute walk to the train station or a fifteen minute walk to downtown if you take the stairs to town behind the train station. The breakfasts are provided and all you can eat, and they sell beer pretty cheap if you just want to kick back and relax after a day of hiking in our around the Alps. It's easy to get anywhere...

What a fantastic family-owned hotel

We had a nice but too short stay there. The views from the room and from the veranda are beautiful, the hotel itself is very comfortable. Owners are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our time there very much. I’m really looking forward to come back next time maybe in summer, because the garden seems also tempting, I think it should be great to spend time there.

The stay was really great. Our room had a balcony with beautiful mountain views. The pension itself was very charming and homey. Greeted by the owner and given a very warm welcome. The place is a bit dated and knocked about but we couldn't have been made more welcome. Views are stunning. There is an honesty system with the fridge. You just help yourself to beer and tell them what you've had.

Cozy place to stay in schönau am königssee. The bus stop"untersein" is in the 5 Mins walk distance and 2 stop to the königssee tourist center. But when the first day we arrive late at night, the entrance is not easy to identify. Love the hairy qute cat here.

Simple but clean breakfast guest house. The hostess Frau Wolf is very friendly and does everything to make you feel at home. There are 4 rooms and 1 holiday home with a small kitchenette. We went here for our road-trip through Germany. The guy in the reception, Igor took well care of us! He was super kind about the breakfast and we liked it so much that we went back for another night. Close by was also a big river that went down the hills. If you stay here you must visit this river that is only on the other side of the main road.

We were pleased to get a family room here as a walk-in. The family room was very spacious and had one large bed and two twin beds. The breakfast is included in the price. It was as close to an "American breakfast" that we've seen in a German hotel. It was walking distance to quite a few things including the train station.

I spent a week at the Alpenhotel Seimler. It is located a little outside of Berchtesgaden, but since you get half board and can easily walk to the mine and town center, it is fine. The parking lot seems quite large, but it was still difficult to find a parking space in the evenings. Unfortunately, the first negative experience occurred at check-in. Really cozy and great location. Parking is a small walk away. Only downside is the shared bathrooms (there are two, one with shower) however there are only 3 rooms upstairs so we didn't run into any issues for showering but a couple times we had to wait for the bathroom.

The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. I emailed before booking because I wanted a cabin, and they were very prompt in answering all my questions. The property was lovely and very clean. The views from the balcony are so wonderful as the hotel is nestled in the mountains. The outlets above the bed have USB charging ports which was very handy. Overall it was a lovely stay!

This is a beautiful hotel, the room is nicely designed, the grounds are very nice, the views are amazing. However, it does not have a mini fridge nor does it have AC. In the summer after long hikes or biking with kids it would be nice to have cold water or drinks in my room. We had to sleep with the balcony door open because it was very hot in the room, and the loft area for the kids was even hotter...
