I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area. The rooms are clean and everything you need for an efficient stay. The location is a convenient short walk from the train station. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. I learned the hard way that I was very allergic to duck-feather pillows staying one night at this hotel. I called the owner, close to midnight...

My wife and I stayed here for three nights. Close to everything. No buffet breakfast due to covid. But they will serve you breakfast in their dining room. Our room was small but clean. No elevator so I was hauling two 50 lbs luggages up the stairs. Perfect place to stay if you love the outdoors..

Clean and comfy. Conveniently close to town center and train station. Trains pass right in front a few times a day so noise can be a bit unpleasant. No views to speak of. Breakfast was a bit crowded and limited.

Great place to stay, good breakfast, wifi works, easy walking to mainstation, clean rooms, good tourist information. Negative is traintrack in front of the house, you have to cross a fast lane street (quite dangerous), cash only on check out. I would recommend and stay again for a short trip

Perfect stay. The owner had made special touch even with candy on the bed. Affordable price with mountain view from the windows. All facilities working fine with nice and strong shower. Definitely will stay again soon.

The hotel is very clean, the host speaks excellent English, is not more than a five minute walk to the train station or a fifteen minute walk to downtown if you take the stairs to town behind the train station. The breakfasts are provided and all you can eat, and they sell beer pretty cheap if you just want to kick back and relax after a day of hiking in our around the Alps. It's easy to get anywhere...

A nice cosy place on the top of a hill. Brilliant views of the surrounding mountains. A short 10 minute walk away from the nearest bus stop. The owner, Antoni, was very friendly and helpful. He gave us tips everyday on places we could see and how to get around.

We had a nice but too short stay there. The views from the room and from the veranda are beautiful, the hotel itself is very comfortable. Owners are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our time there very much. I’m really looking forward to come back next time maybe in summer, because the garden seems also tempting, I think it should be great to spend time there.

The stay was really great. Our room had a balcony with beautiful mountain views. The pension itself was very charming and homey. Greeted by the owner and given a very warm welcome. The place is a bit dated and knocked about but we couldn't have been made more welcome. Views are stunning. There is an honesty system with the fridge. You just help yourself to beer and tell them what you've had.

Cozy place to stay in schönau am königssee. The bus stop"untersein" is in the 5 Mins walk distance and 2 stop to the königssee tourist center. But when the first day we arrive late at night, the entrance is not easy to identify. Love the hairy qute cat here.

Simple but clean breakfast guest house. The hostess Frau Wolf is very friendly and does everything to make you feel at home. There are 4 rooms and 1 holiday home with a small kitchenette. The house is quietly located in a beautiful area with a view of the mountains, a 15-minute walk from the Königssee. Breakfast is simple but more than enough of everything. We come there every year.

This one is a very nice hotel. Got a great spacious room with super comfortable beds, a balcony with nice view to the Alps. Also included was a complementary breakfast. There is also plenty of parking available for free of charge.

There was free parking at the back. Check-in was easy and quick. The beds were okay, so was the bath room. We found the room was to hot during the night. We made use of the pool which was good, however if you use one their towels it costs you €5. The restaurant was also good, the free breakfast was good,

Very varying room sizes. The food is okay, not good nor bad. Service is fine. But the cleaning of the rooms could be stepped up.

We got a family room for our family of four and it's great (nearly a suite for a very good value). Very convenient to town and a decent breakfast. The pool is a bit small and can get loud but was appreciated since it was very hot while we were here.

The first thing that struck us about this hotel was how incredibly open and welcoming the ladies at the front desk were—they really made us feel excited about our stay and that we were well taken care of! We loved this hotel and Berchtesgaden is beautiful. Good facilities and clean, giant bedrooms and we had a beautiful balcony over looking the trees and mountains. Visited in October so the trees were changing colours. The hotel is a little bit of a walk from the main town however the route is pretty and alongside the river so did not feel like a task!

Fantastic authentic Hotel. Hotel staff went out of their way to accommodate us during our stay! We upgraded to half board on arrival and enjoyed a delicious 5 course meal for a very reasonable price!

We were pleased to get a family room here as a walk-in. The family room was very spacious and had one large bed and two twin beds. The breakfast is included in the price. It was as close to an "American breakfast" that we've seen in a German hotel. It was walking distance to quite a few things including the train station.

We stayed 3 nights. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We loved the view from the balcony. We found all staff helpful and friendly and enjoyed the breakfast. The location is great for those travelling without a car. A short walk to the train station and the centre. Bike parking is provided.

Quality of your stay may depend on the specific room you are assigned to. Booked a Double Room via HRS and was confronted with room 11 (two beds in two separate! tiny rooms). Checked with reception and they moved us to room 3 with lots of space and even a separate, living room like room with great mountain view. Breakfast was good, missing a local touch though.

Not a bad place for the price but not the best. Room is very dated and smells as such. Bathroom is tiny, shower is even smaller, a larger person would have trouble. Location was extremely close to a bus stop with links to Salzburg. Then a walk or bus ride down to the main bus station for trips to places like Lake Konigssee, Ramsau/Lake Hintersee. Really cozy and great location. Parking is a small walk away. Only downside is the shared bathrooms (there are two, one with shower) however there are only 3 rooms upstairs so we didn't run into any issues for showering but a couple times we had to wait for the bathroom.
