We stayed there for 2 nights. We had very nice and modern rooms. The PIN access worked perfectly and was great as we wanted to check in later. Breakfast is very good and fresh with a fully automatic coffee machine with specialties. The room and the hotel in general was very clean and the staff was friendly. If we are in Dortmund again, we will be happy to come back!

Booked and paid for a room with breakfast. I arrived at 11am and that was too early to get the room key. I told them I was going into town and wouldn't be back until late. That was no problem because there was a key box with a PIN code at the door, they emailed me the code. Upon arrival at night, no code was received. There is a sheet on the door with 3 telephone numbers that you can call in case of problems, I did not receive an answer to any number, a message was left, no response. This was raised with the hotel and ***********, the hotel blamed Booking, Booking blamed the hotel, so money was lost. Apart from this, the hotel is located in a bad area.

The rooms are comfortable, clean and very quiet. They serve a good breakfast. The Dortmund stadium can be easily reached by public transportation. If you travel by car, they have a dedicated parking lot.

It's really a value for money. 5m walk from Hauptbahnhof and good price with breakfast. I paid 60 Euros. Attention that is located in a dodgy area, if you are ok with that it's good value.
Rooms are outdated and not very enhanced. Some dirty corners and shared areas even more dirty.

The pin for the key didn't work, we had the wrong pin and it took a long time to reach someone on the phone

-very good breakfast ( great selection )
-ok water pressure
Cons:
-no staff at check in, needed to call multiple numbers written on A4 paper glued to the entrance door and even got hunged up on one call
-no first day breakfast ( they didn't know if they could serve it or not )
-hotel staff doesn't even know the name of the hotel
-names of the hotel:
Home hotel ( written above entrance and some other places )
Sport hotel ( written by the side on a paper and other places )
Bowling hotel ( writen for the parking lot )
-on my whole stay there ( 5 days ), staff was turning off the heating and opening windows on my absence ( winter period )

-unpleasant elevator
-elevator doors in the middle of the floors ( that's a first ), so not possible for people in the wheelchair

Great overnight stay, a bit noisy due to a busy street, about a 15-minute walk to the center, free parking at the hotel, the hotel is a bit in a slum

It looks and feels like an old rundown place. The carpet is pretty worn out. The furniture looked quite old. Room was small. Just enough for two chairs and a very small table. Everything was somewhat clean. Found some hair in the bathroom. Reception is open until 10pm,after that you have to open the door yourself with your room key. Room key is huge... Not comfortable too carry around. Internet was ok. Just used it late at night and early in the morning for some YouTube streaming. Window to the street can be quite noisy. You should bring ear plugs. Also the curtains won't make the room very dark even at night because of street lights. In the end I can't recommend this place at all. I was staying there because the location was very comfortable for me.
