A lovely home in the middle of Dresden! Comfortable bed, nice facilities, cosy and tastefully interior, sweet and comfortable sofa, a functional kitchen, great location… etc. All in all, we had a wonderful stay! Thanks a lot to the team of „Aparthotel Am Schloss“! We‘ll be back!

Excellent location in the middle of historic city center, walking distance to all main attractions. Rooms are big, clean and comfortable, the only reason for 4 stars for the rooms is somewhat old decorations style. The hotel has a spacious parking and room for bicycles.

This place has a great location. If you jumped from the window you’d land in one of the main squares of the old town! It is a fully equipped apartment-our unit had a washer. Comfortable and with a daytime only front desk staff to answer questions. The only caveat is that there is no AC So you must sleep with the windows open, as one does in Germany!

Getting there from the train station is very easy. It took a little time, about 20 minutes on foot, and the main route passes through the city center, which, in my opinion, is a big and pleasant plus. The room is very neat and pleasant. It was great experience. The service was great, polite, friendly and helpful. We came before our booking time and they kept our luggage on safe place. The hotel is actually like small apartment. We were from 09.09 to 10.09. Their Guests! We want to especially for the super great Service thank you. At our arrival we were stopped and, despite our delay (we are only against 23:30 o'clock arrived) has been waiting for, the employee is still on us. The care afterwards was great. Avoid this place during the summer. There's no air conditioning. The apartments are a furnace during the day - if you open the window you are subject to noises and cigarette smoke from the neighbours. You can ask for a small desk fan but it won't do the job. The block out blinds do not do much. Also a security concern - On the first floor a neighbour could easily come into your place during the night...

PROS · The room was very well equipped and much larger than expected. We really liked having a small balcony, the bathroom was huge and even had a jacuzzi/sauna. The kitchen had everything you needed. The appliances were good brands/all clean and in good condition. The apartment was also very very big. Location is excellent. Easy to walk to the old historic city centre. Public transport is easily accessible...

Perfect place for long stay, I've spent there 6 month on a business trip and it's very good. Placed in city center, new, every apartment has kitchen, stove, laundry machine, even a dishwasher! Mine was a studio, enough for 1 or 2 person, larger apartments available. Underground parking for 3 euros a day - good value, hotels charge 10-25. Room cleaning costs money, just for you to know, 35 euros for...

Such a AWESOME Place! Right outside you have downtown Dresden with the zwinger! There is also a tram stop, and a bus stop right outside the hotel. Service was amazing and the hotel rooms were beautiful and looked very modern.

We stayed here for 2 months when first moving to Dresden and it was absolutely perfect! The rooms are beautifully designed and have everything you need. The location is PERFECT and right near everything. I would highly recommend this for a weekend stay or a few months. The front desk is super helpful and the entire experience was delightful. Also the beds are very comfy which is always a plus!

The apartment looks nice and is quite modern. The location is extremely convenient. Comes equipped with most things you would need. However the couch and bed are both hard and very uncomfortable. This has regularly caused neck and back pain, as well as a poor night's rest.

The villa is located in a very nice area of ​​Dresden, but it is further away from the city center. The topography was a challenge even for the e-bikes. The apartment was very nice and tastefully decorated. It is also very nice to be able to sit in the garden.

We love it the appartement was clean, tidy and more important had all accessories you need to stay for a few days with family. The bakery and shops are just down the corner. The staff is amazing and really friendly, they make my stay in Dresden a pleasure. The centre is 15min away by car. Definitely will be staying over here again when coming to Dresden. Thank you

The Nudelpfanne was one of the best dishes I ever ate in my life! (ordered it without peppers, which wasn't a problem) We also had the Hexenhausteller, which was also really nice. Service was good.

A real "locus amenus". Nice spot, full of fruit trees, cats, beautiful Hauses, paecefull. We were here with our kid and was also for her a very nice stay.

We're fairly experienced travelers in Germany, and the Hexenhaus now ranks as our favorite all time Pension. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and sunny. The garden setting was relaxing. The breakfasts offered a wide, tasty selection--and were remarkably inexpensive. The staff was friendly and helpful. And the Pension itself was quite convenient to main roads into the city.

A really nice hotel with clean and big rooms. There was soap and many clean towels. There was a kitchen but unfortunately, it was locked away. Also the bathroom did not have a lock on the door. The localization was great, there was a tram station nearby, and the city center was just a few minutes by car away.

Check-in has been absolutely horrific. If not for a kind person who helped us with German we would have had to sleep in the car tonight. Decent place for decent price. Entrance is clear, parking premises are nearby (in the public street). Our apartment had no kitchen, nor any of it's appliances 😐 we would made ourselves some coffee, at least. And I hate mono bedsheets (the ones that are only for one person and doesn't cover you enough if you are constantly moving around yourself in the bed), but that is just me. A huge bathroom! 🙂

Excellent apartment! Really nice apartment located near the railway station. It’s a really old building with lots of character, modern kitchen and bathrooms. The only downside was that they advertised free parking and when I arrived there was only two parking spaces and both were taken, I called the manager and he said there was a parking garage close by that charged 10 euros a day, had I known there...

Very nice apartment (A6) for a group of six. Big dining room table, nice sized kitchen and two toilets (one with shower) are enough to get you through and the beds are pretty comfy. Free breakfast bread and fruit is a lovely touch!

We were initially given a room on the South West side of the hotel, and as there had been some hot weather prior to our arrival, the room was very hot. I called down to reception and they sent a guy with an IR thermometer to measure the temperature coming from the vents...27ºC (80ºF) He didn't speak very good English, but his body language was suggesting that was normal and the AC was 'working'. ...

The Maritim Hotel Dresden says Free WiFi and this is the WiFi that is even slower then 2G! BUT you can but for 4.99 a day pass for fast internet. Yes this is no joke. They sell WiFi in this hotel, at least if you want to use your laptop or use google maps etc...

We had some problems with the reservation from my company side, at maritim they've been extremely kind and available, and we fixed everything without any issue. The building from outside may discourage, but inside it's wonderful. Great rooms (a bit dark though, I'd appreciate more lightning). Legendary breakfast.

Luxurious hotel and spa in a quiet location. The suite we had was decadent! Gorgeous decor, walls of windows, heavenly bed. Staff is very friendly and English is spoken perfectly. You can buy tickets for the tour bus, which stops directly in front of the hotel. Nice pool and spa. Great piano bar attached to the hotel that serves a mean cheeaeburger and has friendly bartenders who asked if our dog prefers...

The location is excellent. Though we could walk to the historic old town in 5 minutes, our room was facing the river and was very quiet. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel anytime.

Breakfast buffet is very nice with selections of meats, cheeses, fish, as well as traditional eggs, bacon, and even an omelette station. Rooms are very large and clean. Much nicer inside than I expected and reasonably priced. Maybe not a true 5 star hotel but for the price I'm impressed! The free WiFi is very slow, however.

The cleanness could be much better. There was dust in our bathroom on the tissue box, and under the sink where they put the towels. Also, on the carpets of the room, corridors, and shared ereas, you could see the dust and stains. There were many spider webs in all the lamps of breakfast erea. The experience already started before the arrival. I got an e-mail, saying that if I check-in online, I can get a mobile key and don't have to go to the reception. So I downloaded the app, checked-in, but the mobile key never appeared. Upon arrival, the receptionist told me that it usually doesn't work. It's a quite nice place to be. Very modern but in a nice way. It's a good base for starting day tours around Dresden. In the evening It's perfect to enjoy this beautiful city center and it's big selection of restaurants.

Hotel is nice, clean en staff is friendly. However the climat control system in the room is beyond logic. Cold air seems the only option.It keeps blowing cold air when room temp set at 30 degrees Solution? Switch it off and open a window I hear? Great hotel on great location. Only thing I didn't like is that hotel parking for motorcycle you must pay for 22 € night what is too much and it's not written on hotel pages. I traveled all over the Germany and i didn't pay for motorcycle parking anywhere. This was the first time.

The parking price it is true that it is a little bit expensive for one night (22 euro/night), but you can go out and in if you need to use the car whenever you want. Always kind staff and the rooms are up to the standard every time I visit. The number of cars parked in front speaks for itself!

Very friendly staff. The Hotel was super cleaned and followed all the security measures due to the pandemic. The room is not very spacious, but it is comfortable. The bed and pillows are a little too soft. The Hotel is very near to the center and we could do everything on foot.

Like all Motel Ones, you get a decent room for an affordable price. The location of the hotel is very good, close to all attractions, and they have parking places under the hotel. The bar is big and lively at night.

Great hotel for a short visit. The rooms are pretty basic, but clean and comfortable enough. A few more electrical outlets would not be amiss though. The location is great, within a 15 minute walk for anything in the Altstadt, the cobblestones are pretty hard on your knees though if you have problems in that area.

The hotel is very clean and the staff super friendly. The twin beds on the other hand is pretty narrow and my son actually fell off a couple of times during the night waking me up in a fright lol.

Very relaxing place. Close to Dresden, too. The bus takes 15min and leaves every 10min. They have a gym, wonderful breakfasts, and you can bring your dog (10euro surcharge). If you are lucky, you can get a room facing Dresden and watch lovely city lights at night

It is located only 500 meters from the city centre. You can walk anywhere. Staff was very helpful. Room is good but needs a bit refurbishing.

I spent 4 days during a seinar in the hotel. Staff was friendly at all times, even looked if there was a charger for my macbook (mine was at home). The room was clean and nice, I could even open the window to get some fresh air. Restaurant was good, again, friendly staff, taking care of requested diet without a problem. It was a very stay at Dorint Hotel Dresden. Nice beds and food/drins at restaurant and bar. Will recommend it!

My only suggestion would be the need to advise guests arriving on foot from the station that they can walk along the arcade running right through the middle of the Trade Centre, in order to reach the hotel, and do not need to walk all the way around the Trade Centre.

The hotel is ideally placed for the historic centre, restaurants etc. The rooms are large and well kept. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful stay. Beautiful hotel but they also make it very accommodating for families. Our kids are still talking about the breakfast. And they did extra things to acknowledge a celebration my wife and I were having, which was a wonderful touch all the way around.

Pro: clean room, good breakfast, nice personal, good location. Cons: it was too cold in the room, old and and damaged furniture, we aksed for a twin bed and we received 2 beds in the same room, few hygiene products ( 2ml of shower gel for 2 persons, for 2 nights...)

I like the room a lot, especially the bed. We were really tired from the trip and I got very good sleep. The room is clean, morden and a bit quirky with some signs 🤣. The hotel is nice, with guests was not a problem. The breakfasts are excellent. Free Wi-Fi, Billiards, sauna. But the bed not changed at all!

It is not in the town center but it is really easy to go by car or even by public transportation. The facilities of the hotel are great, with gym, sauna, a comfy and big room and good bed, it also come with some free drinks in the mini bar. The shower was not the best and must pay 12 euros a day to parking the car.

Poorly cleaned the rooms and start to do it very early. There is a free mini bar in the room no kettle and iron, all on request. Near the reception is always a jug of plain water and water with lemon

The room was clean and refurnished, although we didn’t have fridge neither safety box in our room. But the quality was good. It was in center. For breakfast there was a line for coffee as it was crowded.

Lady at front desk is extremely friendly and we felt very welcomed when we arrived! The car parking is super easy too! Room was spotless and quite big. Would definitely stay here again!!

The hotel was nice, we spent 2 nights there, very clean, polite staff. You can get breakfest in hotel too, but we decide to eat outside. Hotel is 5-10 min. away from center with car, there is good bus connection too. Hotel has its own parking garage (12€ per day) and there is free parking along the street.

Nice facility with all the services you might need while traveling for a few days. Bar in a lobby open 24/7, with competitive prices to the city. Underground car parking and bikes which you can rent makes Motel One very convenient place to stay. Really recommend you to book the accomodation here.

This place was a great stay. The hotel itself, housekeeping, staff, and breakfast buffet were all wonderful. Just don’t buy water from the bar. It’s expensive even for a hotel.

Very nice, clean, trendy looking hotel. Well located near tram stops and not far from the Neustadt train station and the Carolaplatz. For the price, the quality was exceptional and the place very pretty. We had a poor view given the beautiful surroundings but you can't win every time.

You can reach the hotel from Dresden central from multiple routes using a tram or a train and bus and it took less than half an hour. A big supermarket is close to the hotel so you can buy there. On the ground floor of the hotel, there's an Italian restaurant. In case you are tired or lazy you can eat there, which was good. The problem with rooms was they were not sound proof.

AC temperature control locked. Why? I sleep bad in hot weather and opening window is not an option when trams and cars riding in front of the hotel. Overall nice and modern hotel, great breakfast and restaurant. Happy I had only one night though. Due to AC control is blocked I doubt I choose this hotel again next time.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and I must say, everything was top-notch. From the friendly staff to the comfortable room, I was thoroughly impressed. The highlight of my stay was the breakfast buffet which offered a wide selection of delicious options. I was especially pleased with the fresh fruit, the bread, the delicious jam, the lemon tea...The quality of the food was outstanding...

After a 1000km drive it was nice to finally arrive in Dresden. The hotel was very nice, and lived up to the other reviews and descriptions on the booking site. Service was excellent, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Checked in at 8pm on a Friday, but was able to get a dinner table right away in the restaurant, where the meny was very well composed and quality, as well as service, was outstanding...

Hotel is very nice. Employees are friendly. Breakfast is good. Only complaint is the parking space. 14eur in one day, but there was no space.

The location was perfectly located to visit Dresden old town the staff are friendly professional and helpful The rooms are clean and tidy I have stayed here twice and both times I have been very happy with my stay here

Great location near the old inner city. Small but comfy and modern rooms. Different pillows available. Staff is very nice. Wifi is available for free but appears to be slow.

We have booked the Hotel for a long weekend. The booked room was no longer in arrival, but we were assigned a room in the higher category ( Executive Room ), which was, of course, very right. The rooms and the entire Hotel was very good and exactly like the pictures of the homepage of the Hotels. The bathroom was spacious, had a bathtub and a rain shower. Walk distance from the tourist attractions in the old town. Silent air condition. Can rent a comfy bike to cruise the city or take a longer ride to i.e. Pillnitz. You can pay for parking with credit card at the reception, parking spots available any time during the weekend. Room we had was spacious, same for the bathroom. There is nothing to complain about.

Was really impressed with the art work and how it brought the space together. The reception was incredible and it is a couple fo minutes walk from city center. I would highly recommend.

Great hotel in walking distance from all the highlights of Dresden. We got a super deal with breakfast included. Great spread with Thüringer sausages, freshly made scrambled egg, fresh fruit smoothie and FREE Sekt 🥂! Parking on the street is only 3€/24h! Rooms are big and well maintained.

Very good, and most importantly - very affordable hotel. Wonderful bed, bathroom - in the mirror! Loved it. By the way, it should be noted: the hotel is inexpensive, but very decent Breakfast!

Nice hotel, staff was OK, seamed a little stressed. Rooms where great. Big, comfortable and stilish. Parkinggarage was fine. It was a little bit of a walk to the city center but not to bad.

Great hotel with an amazing breakfast! Room was spacious with a great bath. Attention to detail was here and well done. The location is perfect, in a nice quiet neighborhood with nice buildings and close to the old city centre too. Perfect hotel overall!

Really great place to stay, and St Nicolas visited on 6th! Very helpful staff, lovely breakfast. Very close to Christmas Markets, although there are many nearby restaurants, when the markets are on they can be booked up. Think about it before starting the day, the reception team would have helpful advice, they felt that they may have been able to help, but we’d already used the markets!

Warm, welcoming and professional staff. The hotel is historic and beautiful. Our room was memorable, well appointed, very clean, large and quiet. We appreciated the location in a quiet neighborhood with a good selection of restaurants nearby. It’s an easy walk into the main area of the city. Another visit to Dresden would mean another stay here—top choice.

With well-crafted, tidy rooms and customer-friendly service, it was a pleasant and memorable experience of luxury. Easily accessible, yet centrally located and just a short walk away from Dresden's key landmarks and monuments.

Clean , rooms are ok. Didn't have 3 person rooms. Had two get 2 rooms instead 1. Bed was two twin beds by each other. Breakfast was good but a little pricey.

The best part about this hotel is they give u 5 euro cocktail bar voucher if u opt to not have the room service, which I think is brilliant and win-win strategy. With the voucher, we get to spend time in the cocktail bar together and also interact with the friendly bar tender, nice.

Fitness area is a joke, equipment not usable. No safe and no shoehorn in the room. Room size and cleanliness is good. Location 10 min from airport and also good connection to city center.

Was there for a social event. The hall is large and nice, but sound quality could be better. The staff are very professional and polite, but have a tendency to ignore you unless you make youself seen. Toilets are in the basement, a good walk away from the hall.

Friendly Staff. The Hotel itself is getting on in years. Renovation is necessary. Is conveniently located along the Tram-lines 7 and 8, anything outside of the Dresden-city centre.

Excellent staff, simple and fine Hotel .Rooms always clean and well maintained. All rooms with air-conditioning, and in spite of road, absolutely quiet. Ideal tram way stop just outside the Hotel and a large Park. Good food, just the Portion was too small. At any time
