It has been quite a while since the hotel name changed from The Westin Dresden to BILDBERG. It was inconvenient because you had to walk for about 15 to 20 minutes from the tourist center and there were no shops or restaurants nearby. The room is small and the bathroom is large. The room was quite spacious and had all the necessary accessories. The staff was polite, they helped us with storing the bags for free. Absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Taschenbergpalais Kempinski Dresden. Beautiful, cozy rooms with vibrant design, and a fantastic bar offering creative cocktails from around the world. Had an amazing stay over there. The rooms are amazing, the staff really coddle you by literally making your bed for the night everyday haha The location is amazing as well, close to everything in the city. Hotel was well located within walking distance of main city centre attractions and train station. Had paid for an early check in which wasn't available in the end and was refunded. Room was well appointed but the bed was not the most comfortable (unusual in a Premier Inn).

The location is great and it the biggest plus. The hotel room is no frills basic, no fridge and was not able to make it cooler in the room, seems like maybe the fan was not working? Opening the window did not help. But overall a decent place to stay in a great location.

I don't think the staff is happy there at all so sad! The coffe machine was broken no bread and the signage was absent. Parking too far and too awkward if you are a wheelchair user.

The rooms are worn out. The carpets are old. The beds are only made briefly every two days, nothing else.

The hotel is located on a very busy street. Sleeping with the window open is not possible. The hotel is still far from the center of Dresden.

This place is amazing!! We left Holland to support Ukraine with food, clothing and medicin. After allmost e days of barelly sleeping we arrived here 5:30AM. We could sleep untill 12 and leave at one and still pay for only one night. This is the we needed. Thanks to the lady (who spoke very good English as well) for helping us when we had nowhere else to go

Budget hotel. It works for the price - however no A/C, subpar location, and 11 euros per person for breakfast kills it. Bar/restaraunt wasn't open the night we stayed. Parking costs 5 euro, and it is a locked garage - however parking on streets are free and apparently easy to find.

I travelled with my sister and our 3 dogs. The room was tidy, well lit with natural light, window looking at a park. Big flat screen TV, coffee machine and hair dryer are in the room as well. Nice bathroom with bathtub. Private parking lot is a bit tight to drive in with a bigger car, but overall good (parking places are good sized) and for a great price.

This hotel is in a great location with excellent service, and the minibar was a great. A few details kept this from being a 5-star experience. The pillows were extremely flat, and the towels were basic not that good quality—more like what you’d expect from a 3-star hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable! It's close to the city center, but it takes about 20 minutes to walk. Amenities were provided.

It was about 15 minutes to the market square and about 15 minutes from the station. The room and facilities were really good, and I was also very satisfied with the breakfast. The bathroom was also very spacious and clean. One thing that was a bit disappointing was that there was no coffee pot, so I couldn't drink warm water or coffee, but it wasn't a big problem.

It's an older hotel so do not expect state-of-the-art facility. The front desk staff is modest, professional but not going out of the way to help. It feels very German. They speak fluent English so easy to communicate.

Very nice room to stay. The bar on ground floor is crowded but staff service was nice. Parking area is underground. It is difficult to find and inside is very narrow so that you need to be careful for driving.

Overall the hotel looks good but there are 2 thing that really disturbed us 1. the breakfast price was too high (after we took a look what breakfast include) 2. the major thing is the twin beds. it was uncomfortable and impossible to really sleep or expand towards the second bed because in the middle of the bed you can really feel the discharge and it was simply uncomfortable and impractical. AC temperature control locked. Why? I sleep bad in hot weather and opening window is not an option when trams and cars riding in front of the hotel. I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and I must say, everything was top-notch. From the friendly staff to the comfortable room, I was thoroughly impressed. The highlight of my stay was the breakfast buffet which offered a wide selection of delicious options. After a 1000km drive it was nice to finally arrive in Dresden. The hotel was very nice, and lived up to the other reviews and descriptions on the booking site. Service was excellent, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Checked in at 8pm on a Friday, but was able to get a dinner table right away in the restaurant, where the meny was very well composed and quality, as well as service, was outstanding...

Good place to stay in Dresden. Rooms are not very big but pretty comfortable. Breakfast is okay but could be more different things to eat.

Clean and comfortable. My dog stayed in my room with me which was great but they didn't provide anything extra for dogs, for example there was no where around the whole block to put dog poo once you had picked up. Would be very useful if they but a special bin outside the hotel and maybe provided drinking bowls.

Location is ideal - trams & buses nearby, 6 months rental was a good dead. Not much choice of restaurants locally, so have to use public transport or drive. Internet a bit expensive and slow

Lovely, clean and well located hotel. Easy tram to the main train station. Staff were very good, and my room felt spacious and even had nice views. FYI, I didn’t partake in the breakfast so my review doesn’t reflect that.

Lovely modern hotel with large rooms. 2 stops on #11 tram to old town centre, or 20min walk. Great breakfast too. Tram also runs to Hbf.

The service was very good, they were very polite and offered to help us. The facilities were also good, the bed was comfortable and they had a TV, the bathroom was very nicely decorated and it was tidy, thank goodness you could book in late in the evening and it's close to a train station so it's easy to get there.

The room is average, a bit punk style
