I found the hotel quiet and clean. The staff was friendly and well trained, the breakfast was also very good. The spa area was welcoming and worth a visit

The city of Dresden can be reached by S-Bahn or bus, both the station and the bus stop are within walking distance. I slept very well and I left with a good impression

There are ants in the room on the first floor of the villa. The environment is beautiful, the breakfast is good, the swimming fee is 5 euros per person, and the children are half price. Don't be together like a stranger

I was fortunate enough to stay for 2 weeks. The location, setting, room, breakfast, amenities and staff are all of the very highest quality

The area is very quiet, very walkable, close to countryside but convenient for Dresden

Last night we had the windows open for airflow and could smell cigerette smoke from the people in the courtyard below our room. The Daily breakfast and service was excellent!

Excellent staff and quite helpful. Unfortunately we were told at checkin that we had a very quiet room (Junior Suite on floor 2 with Courtyard view)

There was a loveseat and a chair so we had plenty of room to relax with a cup of tea and a good book in the evening

And the next two nights, I ate at the ONLY hotel restaurant, Das Palais -- food was very good, especially the goose, but service was spotty -- I found myself walking over to grab my bottle of wine to pour another glass

All the other restaurants were also booked, so I tried my luck with the concierge -- dinner, at any time, wasn't possible. I ordered room service and the schnitzel came piping hot and was one of the best I had

The location is perfect, beautiful for long walks along the Elbe. The center and the old town are easy to reach on foot. The cleanliness of our room was very good

The hotel is between the old and the new city. Restaurants are very near the hotel. Nice room, good beds. Breakfast is excellent. A pity that the parking space is not bigger. Cars are parked everywhere.

Breakfast was moved to an area that wasn't as inviting as the actual room! That was a shame considering the price, as it's all about the atmosphere and feeling. The location is great, a great view of the Dresden skyline

After mediocre experience in Titisee we were hesitating to take this hotel and we loved it! Very good facilities for a family! Even if the hotel is huge and full of guests, the staff is extremely professional and provides personalised advice and guidance in a very friendly manner

TLDR: it's a great place to stay in Dresden. The hotel feels upscale, the rooms are spacious and clean with nice natural light, the beds are comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a huge selection of quality foods

Excellent experience we too the family suite which was big and comfortable. The hotel is right at the edge of the old city 5 min walk

We had a good dinner and wonderful breakfast. They also have a very interesting loyalty programme

Still Some room for improvement- in the order there were bath tub and shower but didnt mention these are in the same wet room. No much sense having it together so we couldnt take this in advantage

The cabinets were a little dusty. Some people complain about low lighting in the rooms, but in our room it was fine, sufficient, no complaints from us. Overall I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place!

You can even cook in the kitchen, when you ask for it. Isn't this amazing? The only thing I didn't like is how they made the bed. I need the whole duvet and not a half. Please leave the blanket outside

Usually TSH rooms are spacious, of a high standard with great bathroom facilities, good air conditioning in the rooms, excellent cleaning and proper sound isolation despite central locations

I also love that you can dim the light and it feels nostalgic there

I’ve been staying at The Student Hotel (TSH) chain on several occasions during the past two years in Amsterdam, Florence, Barcelona and now Dresden, and I can honestly say that the Dresden hotel doesn’t do the chain justice

TSH Dresden lacked all of this. Air condition was hardly working at all with both our room and our floor being uncomfortably hot to put it mildly. The queen sized room was was quite crammed, with little room to manoeuvre

The corridor to our room was a bit dated and carpet stained but the room was good enough. The breakfast was very good with a wide selection of fresh foods but a larger toasting machine is definitely required

The location of this hotel is very convenient because it nears the Dresden train station. Also, there are a lot of different restaurants in the area. However, the room is a bit small and the hygiene is not good enough.

We had a lovely stay at Ibis Dresden! The location was great to so many restaurants and shops and malls! We had a great room as far as space wise, the view from our room was great! I feel like the rooms can be a little bit styled up and vibrant a little bit

During our breakfast we had ao many options to chose from! The staff was great! Parking can be a bit tricky but there are some parking garages in couple of minutes walking distance and you can just park with your car there

Lidl, 400m down road from hotel. Netto 700m uproad from hotel. Buying food, bread, milk, drinks, fruits easy peazy. Use a Visa/MC Debit no worries about forex. I would recommend this hotel

Very friendly and helpful staff! Rooms are beautiful and clean, and the access to sauna for only 5€ per person is a great plus. City center is reachable by public transportation in 15-20 min.

Check in was quick, welcome titbits, drinks. Free drink vouchers per pax ea per night if u dont have daily cleaning. Can still xchange towels, reqt toiletries from reception

Then it's a lovely walk along the river to the centre in just 2k (20 mins) we wanted to use the ice arena at the Joynext arena anyway so worked out really well for us

We had a short stay here and although it is quite out of the city we drove 15-20 mins to the Joynext Arena where there is loads of free parking

I have to say, if this is known, why hasn't it been fixed? Air conditioning would also be helpful. Otherwise, the stay was pleasant

No tea or coffee machine in room which was a bit disappointing but the bar/restaurant downstairs has good coffee so not the end of the world

They are good to change the room but didn't compensate with anything to you for your trauma or didn't asked for any medication also for such things. Other than the room is in good place and accessible to every place

It wasn't too far to walk from the central station, and the room size was just right for two suitcases to be spread out, but the water pressure was low and the shower head needed to be replaced.

the room is facing the cathedral with a good view. room is clean and big convenient to all the museums and scenic spots as well as restaurants and railway station. all at walking distance.

The clock tower nearby chimes loudly, but it’s got a certain charm—like a quirky wake-up call you can't snooze! And don’t even get me started on breakfast; it’s delicious and just what you need before diving into Dresden's treasures

We were very pleased with our stay. The rooms, however, could use a Tick more Style, or individuality. Otherwise, a very good Breakfast and excellent access to Public (bus stop in front of the door)

The room was clean and nice, I could even open the window to get some fresh air. Restaurant was good, again, friendly staff, taking care of requested diet without a problem

Elegant and chic hotel in an excellent location directly on Neumarkt and near the Frauenkirche. We were able to park very conveniently at the nearby Schießgasse parking lot, which is easy to reach by car

Really excellent and helpful reception staff, comfortable and luxurious rooms and wonderful location in the heart of Dresden Neumarkt.

We stayed here for one night last weekend. The hotel is ideally situated on the Neumarkt, just across the beautiful "Frauenkirche" and with a stonesthrow away from al the mayor landmarks Dresden has to offer

The only thing we did not expect, was that the complimentary vanity kit had already been opened and there was a huge coffeestain in the deskchair

Other than that, it was great staying here and I would recommend it if you prefer being in the center of Dresden

The beer, wine, water and juice in the refrigerator mini-bar is complimentary, and they restock it when they do the room. Breakfast is good enough and the staff keeps the buffet stocked

The premium room  has a cupboard door share with the bathroom broom and toilet. When you draw the door to close it makes noise and the lights wake up the other person.  This is most disturbing experience

We changed the room with the Frauenkirche view to a bigger room 300(39 m2). However the bathroom door is shared with the cupboards. That disturb the other when one goes to toilet in the night

The door makes noise and lights from the bathroom wakes up the other. These for 3 nights we didn’t sleep well. The elegant Grand cafe close by is wonderful in the evening for drinks

The staff is very helpful and friendly! There were a few steps to our room right before the door, and between the entry and the bedroom, but other rooms are more accessible

If that's an issue for you, be sure to ask about it. The steps in the room have subtle red lighting so you know where they are in the dark

Lovely, clean and well located hotel. Easy tram to the main train station. Staff were very good, and my room felt spacious and even had nice views. FYI, I didn’t partake in the breakfast so my review doesn’t reflect that

The city center is just a few steps away from the hotel, the tram stop is a stone's throw away, and thanks to Dresden's excellent transport infrastructure, you can easily get anywhere from the hotel

Have stayed at this hotel many times. The location is excellent, easy to get to the city. The hotel facilities need to be updated. The food in the hotel's restaurant is good and the service is good

Tony at reception is ready to help out. Maddox in the restaurant is great. He just graduated from apprentice training, four months ago, and doing an excellent job with a "can-do" personality

There's another young man who seems all about getting your order quickly and getting on with things. It seems after the food's on the table he's too busy nabbing the next customer

We booked city tickets with the concierge and used the in-house restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Both food offerings were good enough for our one night trip but neither is recommendable

He's full of a lot of "we can't do that"s, whereas Maddox is ready to figure out an alternative or make your need possible. We observed Maddox cleaning all of the tables after the guests had left, even the other waiters

The rooms are good and clean, don't stay on the first floor by the way. The breakfast is a complete one. You have electric scooter and bikes to rent in front of the hotel, train station near and shopping too

Centrally located, commuting to the City centre was simple and easy. Also they have a good breakfast spread.

Superior room was ideal for a few days as it’s nicely renovated and decorated. 20-30 walk to main attractions and some good value restaurants and supermarket close by. Bonus parking too.

It is very close to the Conservatory of Music. There is a tram station not far away to go to various attractions in the city center. The hotel breakfast is also very considerate

That one was for people with disabilities the toilet was too high and there was no bathtub. My reservation was with street view and you can see in the photo the view we got

We were given a room with one double bed although my reservation was two single beds. The lady on front desk was impolite. They said we don’t have room only one
