The hotel must have a long history, with heavy copper keys, a nice environment, and a fountain.
The hotel is really good, with good kitchen, in a peaceful, nice neighborhood. Rooms are a bit old fashioned, you get a key and not a keycard at the reception, but they are also nice and clean. Only two things that I think would help make the experience even better: Charging stations in the garage and USB or power plug next to the bed for phone charging.
There are ants in the room on the first floor of the villa. The environment is beautiful, the breakfast is good, the swimming fee is 5 euros per person, and the children are half price. Parking is charged. Don't be together like a stranger
Great wellness area, with an extra €5 as described. Great breakfast, OK room.
I was fortunate enough to stay for 2 weeks. The location, setting, room, breakfast, amenities and staff are all of the very highest quality. The area is very quiet, very walkable, close to countryside but convenient for Dresden. Brilliant. Perfect. Thank you.
I found the hotel quiet and clean. The staff was friendly and well trained, the breakfast was also very good. The spa area was welcoming and worth a visit. The city of Dresden can be reached by S-Bahn or bus, both the station and the bus stop are within walking distance. I slept very well and I left with a good impression.

I chose this hotel solely for its view, so I requested a river view in advance as a special request, but I was disappointed that they assigned me to a room on the road instead of the river. I stayed on a Wednesday, and there were no rooms on the river. When I walked along the river at 10 PM, I saw that only a few of the many rooms had their lights on. The rooms were small and ordinary, and it was...
Very nice hotel with reasonable price!
The hotel is very good and I will stay there next time. Excellent location, friendly service from staff.
We were there during the trade fair, which was unfortunately a bit limiting. Breakfast was moved to an area that wasn't as inviting as the actual room! That was a shame considering the price, as it's all about the atmosphere and feeling. The location is great, a great view of the Dresden skyline. The rooms were clean and tidy! As far as the staff were concerned, there were quite a few young, unsure...
The suite is very spacious and clean. The sofa bed needs to be improved. Excellent location, recommended
It has been quite a while since the hotel name changed from The Westin Dresden to BILDBERG. It was inconvenient because you had to walk for about 15 to 20 minutes from the tourist center and there were no shops or restaurants nearby. The room is small and the bathroom is large. The facilities overall are old. Breakfast was okay.

Located at an extremely good location. The breakfast is worth trying.
The hotel offers a great location—very easy to access and close to key attractions, which was a big plus. The room was decent for a budget stay, clean enough for comfort. However, the hospitality at reception was quite average, and the staff didn’t seem very proactive or eager to assist. Overall, it’s a typical low-cost hotel experience—good if you’re mainly looking for convenience and a place to sleep
The Hotel near Dresden Central Station, easy to travel. the hotel should have a hot water kettle and/or a refrigerator in the room.
nice and near ta primark mall..
We had a lovely stay at Ibis Dresden! The location was great to so many restaurants and shops and malls! We had a great room as far as space wise, the view from our room was great! I feel like the rooms can be a little bit styled up and vibrant a little bit. During our breakfast we had ao many options to chose from! The staff was great! Parking can be a bit tricky but there are some parking garages...
Central location. It is branded as budget, but feels like one. Corridors give a rundown feeling. Towels are super thin. No kettle nor coffee or tea in the room.

Rooms are nice but they give a bit of an hotel starting to get old a bit, but still spacious, got all amenities, great breakfast. Overall, it wasn't bad. There were no particularly dirty areas, so it's good for people who want to stay cheap. A normal hotel.
The location is a little far from the central station, but I used the tram to get there. It's a nice, quiet place with no noise. Best of all, there was a bathtub, so I was able to take a long bath and relieve the fatigue of my travels. Another good point is that there is a shop inside the hotel. I was able to buy water, alcohol, snacks, etc. The front desk staff were also very kind. Highly rated.
Very friendly staff, good answers to all questions, we will come back sometime, very good location also with public transport
Distasteful rooms, with mediocre service, lacking flexibility, common sense and manners. Acceptable to spend the night due to location for business, but otherwise unremarkable. Needs full refurbishing and renewal, proper air conditioning, and more friendly service.

Very nice hotel! Location is in the city center. Everything in few steps. Parking. Big room.
Without a doubt, this hotel is the nicest place my husband and I have ever stayed. Dresden is a magnificent city and it was an added bonus to stay in a former palace that has been meticulously renovated. Not only is it ideally located steps away from the Royal Palace, the Zwinger, shops, and great restaurants, it is full of friendly and knowledgeable staff. We had a Palais Room and were immediately...
This hotel is the textbook definition of what a five-star experience should be. It doesn’t just check the boxes, it rewrites the exam. The building itself is stunning, a former 18th-century palace that was heavily damaged in the 1945 bombing of Dresden and perfectly restored. The latest renovation, completed in 2023, is nothing short of magnificent, an architectural gem for both history and modern...
My second stay. The hotel is truly beautiful - new rooms with contemporary luxury design. Everything is perfect. Please, the breakfast restaurant also needs to be renovated - it looks terrible, 90s design. It greatly reduces the overall impression of the hotel.
Absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Taschenbergpalais Kempinski Dresden. Beautiful, cozy rooms with vibrant design, and a fantastic bar offering creative cocktails from around the world. Everything felt elegant and well thought out. The pool was a bit cold, but overall the experience was unforgettable. Would definitely come back.
Our stay at Hotel Taschenbergpalais Kempinski Dresden was simply wonderful. The rooms were beautifully designed — colorful, warm, and inviting — making it a joy to return to after exploring the city. It wasn't too far to walk from the central station, and the room size was just right for two suitcases to be spread out, but the water pressure was low and the shower head needed to be replaced.

Hotel at good location, walking distance to major attractions with many eateries around. We are upgraded to the junior suite, the room is big and the bed is comfortable. The staff are helpful, will recommend this hotel to those visiting Dresden. Walking to Dresden HBF is about 20 mins which is not very far.

Staying at the Hotel NH Collection in Dresden was like being in the heart of everything! It's close to all the must-see landmarks, making sightseeing a breeze. I am in love with this hotel. The staff is nice. You can even cook in the kitchen, when you ask for it. Isn't this amazing? The only thing I didn't like is how they made the bed. I need the whole duvet and not a half. Please leave the blanket outside. Gotta cuddle my feet somehow. I also love that you can dim the light and it feels nostalgic there.
I honestly have to admit I was very disappointed with this hotel. I’ve been staying at The Student Hotel (TSH) chain on several occasions during the past two years in Amsterdam, Florence, Barcelona and now Dresden, and I can honestly say that the Dresden hotel doesn’t do the chain justice. Usually TSH rooms are spacious, of a high standard with great bathroom facilities, good air conditioning in the...
What an amazing hotel this one! I was very very pleasantly surprised by this hotel - from the room, the decor, the amenities, and the service overall. The only reason I knocked off a star is because of the bed - could be better. The hotel was unique in every sense possible! the decor was nothing like i've seen before; vintage games, vintage computer screens.. essentially vintage everything. The amenities...
We had one night in executive suite. The decor of the hotel was really cool and the overall vibe nice. Good location. Super clean. The shower of the room was lovely. There were however, a few lacks in our room: there was no hair dryer and there were only one glass for tea/coffee and there were no spoon to mix the coffee sweeteners. Also I would have appreciated harder pillows for my neck.
Stayed here for one night to see the Christmas markets. Excellent value and perfect location! We had an executive suite and the bed and pillows were super comfortable! This is for me the most important thing in a hotel; you gotta have a comfortable bed. We had a nice view, windows looking out onto the street, but around midnight there was noise that woke us up, so I would suggest soundproofing. The...

Right in the Altstadt. Short walk to Frauenkirche, Neumarkt, Zwinger, Brühlsche Terrasse and the Elbe, and also to the trams and shopping to the south. We liked our room very much, it had plenty of seating to relax in, enough room to move around in, and outlets for our chargers. Bathroom is nice, too. The beer, wine, water and juice in the refrigerator mini-bar is complimentary, and they restock it...
The premium room  has a cupboard door share with the bathroom broom and toilet. When you draw the door to close it makes noise and the lights wake up the other person.  This is most disturbing experience . None of us slept well for three nights.
We changed the room with the Frauenkirche view to a bigger room 300(39 m2). However the bathroom door is shared with the cupboards. That disturb the other when one goes to toilet in the night. The door makes noise and lights from the bathroom wakes up the other. These for 3 nights we didn’t sleep well. The elegant Grand cafe close by is wonderful in the evening for drinks.
The location of the hotel is very central and you can walk to many of the city attractions. The rooms are alright but far from a four star hotel. The breakfast buffet is mediocre and the staff at the buffet were everything but friendly.
We stayed two nights in this lovely hotel and enjoyed each moment. The friendly service, very well equipped and clean rooms not to forget to mention a delious breakfast for a good start into the day framed the visit of this nice town. The tram is close by, but a number of tourist features are within walking distance.
Quick check in, people always at front desk, friendly staff, spacious elevators, excellent breakfst, comfortable beds, clean room.

Hotel was well located within walking distance of main city centre attractions and train station. Had paid for an early check in which wasn't available in the end and was refunded. Room was well appointed but the bed was not the most comfortable (unusual in a Premier Inn).

The location is great and it the biggest plus. The hotel room is no frills basic, no fridge and was not able to make it cooler in the room, seems like maybe the fan was not working? Opening the window did not help. But overall a decent place to stay in a great location.

Average The hotel was fine and the service at the check in seat was fine. However, the restaurant was closed when I arrived, which wasn’t ideal as I’d had a long day of travel.
In general, I see a discrepancy between expectations/price and reality. The hotel has been nicely renovated, but the rooms are very small. Budget hotel. It works for the price - however no A/C, subpar location, and 11 euros per person for breakfast kills it. Bar/restaraunt wasn't open the night we stayed. Parking costs 5 euro, and it is a locked garage - however parking on streets are free and apparently easy to find.

I can only agree with all the reviews. That was our domicile during our many stays in Dresden. Unfortunately, my husband passed away in 2019, so I only have fond memories of an accommodation where no wishes were left unfulfilled!
The place was lovely - spacious and clean and staff very kind. Challenges were that most spoke only German (not english or french or spanish or czech which were languages we spoke) and weren't as thorough as we thought (it said daily cleaning which did not happen) and there were additional costs for water in the fridge which we didn't expect. But the location was fabulous!
Very courteous hotel staff, gladly 5*. Unfortunately, our room didn't have such a nice view of the outside - probably only the deluxe apartments have this. But otherwise very comfortable and homely. Small note: a few tea bags placed with instant coffee powder make every tea drinker happy and don't cost a fortune! ;-)
Very nice Appartements. Ist is situatet perfectly central - directly at Neumarkt with the "Frauenkirche". I can strongly recommend it.
