Absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Taschenbergpalais Kempinski Dresden. Beautiful, cozy rooms with vibrant design, and a fantastic bar offering creative cocktails from around the world. Everything felt elegant and well thought out. The pool was a bit cold, but overall the experience was unforgettable. Would definitely come back.

Had an amazing stay over there. The rooms are amazing, the staff really coddle you by literally making your bed for the night everyday haha The location is amazing as well, close to everything in the city. One very nitpicky thing, is that the people at the reception seemed a bit novice, in that they didn’t offered us welcome drinks until we asked for it. They were nice and helpful though.

I can only agree with all the reviews. That was our domicile during our many stays in Dresden. Unfortunately, my husband passed away in 2019, so I only have fond memories of an accommodation where no wishes were left unfulfilled!

The place was lovely - spacious and clean and staff very kind. Challenges were that most spoke only German (not english or french or spanish or czech which were languages we spoke) and weren't as thorough as we thought (it said daily cleaning which did not happen) and there were additional costs for water in the fridge which we didn't expect. But the location was fabulous!

Very courteous hotel staff, gladly 5*. Unfortunately, our room didn't have such a nice view of the outside - probably only the deluxe apartments have this. But otherwise very comfortable and homely. Small note: a few tea bags placed with instant coffee powder make every tea drinker happy and don't cost a fortune! ;-)

This hotel is in a great location with excellent service, and the minibar was a great. A few details kept this from being a 5-star experience. Tiny room in the middle of the old town. Very convenient location facing the square with plenty of bars and restaurants. Occasionally, you may hear the chattering of late returned visitors in the square. You cannot make a cup of tea in your room. TV won't connect to the internet therefore the Chromecast was useless. It has been quite a while since the hotel name changed from The Westin Dresden to BILDBERG. Budget hotel. It works for the price - however no A/C, subpar location, and 11 euros per person for breakfast kills it. Bar/restaraunt wasn't open the night we stayed. Parking costs 5 euro, and it is a locked garage - however parking on streets are free and apparently easy to find.

For a fee, you can use the sauna, fitness and the swimming pool in the adjacent hotel. Tram line 7/8 is about 8min walk. There is a bust stop just outside the hotel.

I travelled with my sister and our 3 dogs. The room was tidy, well lit with natural light, window looking at a park. Big flat screen TV, coffee machine and hair dryer are in the room as well. The hotel is very clean and the staff super friendly. The twin beds on the other hand is pretty narrow and my son actually fell off a couple of times during the night waking me up in a fright lol.

The room was spacious and comfortable! It's close to the city center, but it takes about 20 minutes to walk. Amenities were provided.

It was about 15 minutes to the market square and about 15 minutes from the station. The room and facilities were really good, and I was also very satisfied with the breakfast. The bathroom was also very spacious and clean. One thing that was a bit disappointing was that there was no coffee pot, so I couldn't drink warm water or coffee, but it wasn't a big problem.

The hotel's location in very convenient. It's within short walking distance to many major attractions so it saves a lot of travel time staying at this premise. It's an older hotel so do not expect state-of-the-art facility. The front desk staff is modest, professional but not going out of the way to help. It feels very German. They speak fluent English so easy to communicate.

Very nice room to stay. The bar on ground floor is crowded but staff service was nice. Parking area is underground. It is difficult to find and inside is very narrow so that you need to be careful for driving.
