Super nice, hospitable family who run the hotel with a lot of passion. They always have a good tip for trips and an open ear for questions. The breakfast is very good and the rooms and the hotel are very clean. The hotel is in a great location with a view of the mountains.

I was a little apprehensive staying outside of Garmisch and having to use public transportation but the Richard Strauss Festival was happening in Garmisch and this hotel was the only one I could find under €150 per night. It was a very nice hotel. Nice air conditioning and I like the classic Bavarian style. There was a thai man visiting during my stay and when I went to check out, suddenly he had his guards arrest me! Apparently this was the king of Thailand and I called him discount Obama online and apparently that’s bad. Now I’m serving 45 years in prison lol.

Been there once, great food. Met a famous Thai guy there. He's super nice. Celebrity maybe. His sense of fashion is kinda weird. Probably got them form Baby Gap. His guard won't allow me to look at him tho. He was there with his wives.

Romantic bavarian restaurant with a nice beer garden. We had delicious typical bavarian food and a fresh fitness salad after our hiking tour. Food and drink offer was so varied that we will come back to taste the rest! Service was friendly. Prices were fair.

Nice, cozy room. Modern amenities. Decent wifi, it did cut out occasionally, but you don't come to Bavaria to surf the web, so it was no big deal. Staff was very friendly and helpful and made us feel comfortable in Parteskirchen. They gave great recommendations for things to visit and do. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast excellent with a wide choice of cereals, rolls, cheeses, meats and other things. Our superior room was enormouse, comfortable and had a balcony with table and 2 chairs and side views of the mountains. Everything is spotlessly clean. Attractive garden to relax in. Ten minutes walk to restaurants and shops.

This hotel is pretty neat, clean, friendly customer service and seems to be a family owned and operated. The rooms that we got was at the highest floor (3rd floor) with nice different views on each room. They give free breakfast in the mornings and it's quite good too. We had a short walk into Garmisch each evening for dinner and/or drinks and as we drove it was centrally located to sites we wanted to see. The hotel is well located, and many excursions can be started from there. The hotel is a bit older. This is evident from the stains on the carpet and upholstery. There is a large TV, but it is not usable at all due to poor reception. Overall, it is a well-kept older hotel, good as a base, but not really for a staycation.

The location is a little far from the station, but it is within walking distance. The facilities are a little old, but the environment and sanitation are still OK. You can see the mountain when you open the window. The breakfast is also quite good, but there were many people staying on the day I went, and you had to queue up to get coffee. The overall cost performance is still very high, worth recommending

It was one of the warmest day in summer when we stayed there, when the windows were widely opened, the room temperature decreased by the gentle mountain wind. The night was quiet with open windows. The decor in the room is with a Bavarian dining table, the size of room is enough for a couple and a dog. The staff were friendly.

We stayed for one night last year in May and had a wonderful experience at the Posthotel Ettal. It is a beautifully appointed small hotel with excellent service and a great breakfast. I would recommend it highly and would stay there again and again.

Everything was great. A small point to note is that there is no air conditioning for the room during winter season, hence you’ll have to leave the windows open as it gets a little stuffy overtime.

We stayed for 3 nights in October and we enjoyed our stay! It was conveniently located with the train station just opposite which also has convenience store there. There’s food and supermarket nearby too. The apartment is of a great size and had everything we needed, especially a washing machine! We will recommend this place!
