What an awesome place to stay for a ski trip. We had two comfort rooms and our dog Greta. Its really close to a bus stop that takes you to the Garmisch Classic area. The food was outstanding we had breakfast and the half board. The rooms were phenomenal! Unreal coffee machines in the room!!! The prices are excellent too. I loved it, but more importantly my wife loved it. Perfect for skiing. The Sauna and Pool are outstanding features too. The Staff are excellent and the craftsmanship of hospitality is on full display here.

Normally I am very picky about my hotels and the quality of services within.
I have to say my stay at the Hotel Zugspitze was extraordinary. I stayed in a Junior Suite and it was clean, neat, well organized, had a small kitchenette with dining, a sofa... and out of this world views of the mountains. Daily service was excellent.
Breakfast was included and along with the standard German Breakfast, the kitchen would make dishes to order if you asked. Great service!
Finally, the restaurant was exceptional. My meal was a superb blend of seasoning and flavors that complimented each other (I had Pork roasted over a beech wood fire, sliced roasted potatatoes, and fresh white asparagus) and it was perfect.
Topping it off, Apfel Strudel was so flakey that pastry flakes went everywhere with each bite...
Definitely will return and stay again!!!

Excellent hotel. Super in the city center. Warm welcome. Excellent, large, very clean rooms. Fantastic breakfast. Pool, fitness and sauna, everything was very clean. The staff is very interested in the well-being of the guests.

A beautiful, lovingly furnished hotel in Garmisch. Just a few steps from the shopping street. The rooms are tastefully furnished. The restaurant is worth mentioning, and here you should definitely book half board. The small surcharge is worth it.

All people who work there are incredible! Felt very welcome since the moment I stepped my foot at the reception all the way till we checked out (which I was sad to do, as we loved our stay!). The room was very spacious, bathroom too, especially appreciated heated floors in the bathroom in winter, huge plus! The views from the room are incredible. We stayed there over Christmas time and it was magical. Breakfast was top notch: fresh, plenty of choices and service was excellent! Especially I would like to thank Kateryna who worked at breakfast, she was so attentive and kind. My husband and I did not have anything bad to say about our stay. It was truly exceptional.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The location is wonderfully central. Our room was large, clean and well maintained. The hotel is undergoing progressive modernization- our bathroom and kitchenette had been recently updated and I’m guessing the bedroom decoration will be done next. Mattresses and pillows very comfortable. Beautiful Coffee machine was also an excellent touch. Reception staff were helpful and obliging but most mornings we struggled to get attention in the breakfast room. I would however happily return.

Wonderful hotel and very friendly staff. Dinner was top notch and the breakfast selection was excellent. Great attention to detail in our bookings, taking into account the requirements for the number of guests and pets.
