The hotel is nice and the staff were kind enough to help us book a room without prior reservation. Breakfast was good too. The unit does not have AC but the weather at night gets cold.

Great hotel. Good service and very good wellness. The restaurant is also good. Be svare that there is NO aircondition and some rooms is directly to a road with a lot of traffic. We made a mistake to reserve the room at hotels.com / Expedia and as many other hotels they gave us the worst room. You better contact the hotels directly. The discount on hotels com is not worth it and they take up to 20% from the hotel!!

Great Hotel, very clean and comfortable.
Beds are comfy.
Spa and pools are amazing with view of Zugspitze.
Buffet for food at night for 32 euros was really good and tasty.
Don't listen to the moaners previous reviews. Just book it.

Amazing atmosphere with sauna and spa wellness area makes for a perfect skiing trip. Be sure to take your slippers. There is a warm drying room for your skiing boots and skiis.

Large, efficient, well-run facility close to banhoff. My modern, comfortable room was small, had to go to the lobby to find a desk to use my laptop. Plenty of indoor parking available at extra cost. Tasty food with a fair amount of variety. Large fitness and spa. Easy walk to central Garmisch. Friendly and efficient multilingual staff.
I was staying there with a sports team. We felt well taken care of, it is conceivable that are being a group may have affected our experience.

The breakfast wasn't good, everything was unseasond and blend. The Coffee machine was so normal and the coffee was trash.
The Staff was unfriendly and uncomprehending. Although it is a very ordinary hotel, it is expensive and overrated. Most of the rooms weren't even close to the elevator and you had to walk so long to had an access to it.
Although we didn't put the *Don't clean our room* sign on the door, they didn't even clean our room!
We paid extra for a mountain view room, but we just had a normal room with a street view and we had to bend to see a little bit of a mountain at the corner. So when we wanted to check out, the staff asked me if everything was fine and I mentioned that we paid extra for a mountain view room and we didn't get one! Instead of apologizing, she started to talk so unfriendly and told us we had to look more at the corner of the window to see the mountain! This is beyond rude!

Disappointed, for the value of money i’ve paid unfortunately.
Positives:
- Rooms are clean.
- Everything is new
- Good location near the city center & train station.
- Nice mountain view
- Breakfast is average no variety no fresh juices.
Negatives:
- room is very small
- No kettle, no coffee machine.
- No refrigerator
- No iron
- No AC
- No safe box
- No bottle of water
- No telephone to reach the customer service
- Charge parking area for the hotel guests, but there is free parking area around 2 mins from the hotel.
- Customer service not very good.
- No slipper & no products at the bathroom only hand soap and body/hair cleanser.

Outstanding customer service, food, decor, and location! Florian made every effort to make our family stay as awesome as possible. The family suite was comfortable and spacious enough for the 4 of us. We loved the pool and breakfast. Walking into town and to the train for the spitzes. I would love to stay again in the winter time. The warm temperatures and lack of air conditioning made for some warm sleeping, but that is rare.

This is the second year in a row we booked ourselves at this hotel. We found that it's location is strategic, close to the train station and city centre, and hiking trails, we enjoy their buffet breakfast, swimming pools outdoor and indoor, the gym, its convenient, clean and service is good. They have filtered water available near the reception for you to fill your water bottles. We rented their electric car for the day, it was quite affordable at €49 per day, great to use and travel around. I just wished they would open the gym earlier than 8am, change our bedsheets every 3 days rather than 4 days (felt a little too long before we get to sleep in clean crisp sheets).

Disappointed as I thought it was not value for money. The room is too small. No bathroom . Shower is in the room, no door , although there is a separate toilet with limited space. Air filtration in the room failed to work so steam from shower lingered in the room. Window opening was restricted so we could not get any air in the room. On leaving the hotel, the receptionist could see I was struggling with my asthma It only usually flares up in Winter but the dank, air less room had exacerbated my condition . She was sympathetic and offered me some snacks from the shop which I declined. Unfortunately it was not a well being experience for me. I will return to Garmisch but will not be staying here. My advice would be if your have asthma this is not the place for you. Another point to mention is that I had to ask for the link for the guest bus pass. Surprising really when the hotel prides itself on sudtainability and should be encouraging guests to travel by public transport. Breakfast was very good and the reception decor istasteful but does not compensate for the poor rooms which overlook a busy main road.
