The perfect place to end our hike of the Lechweg. Restaurant and bar staff were super responsive to everything we wanted and made some great suggestions on drinks. Comfortable lounge / bar to sit and chat, or knock off emails.

It’s located at the outer edge of the town, about 5 minutes walk to the center, which to me is a plus because of the quietness it offers. Driving to parking lot 4 of the castles takes about 10 minutes. Our room is comfort room two twin beds; both the sleeping are and the bathroom are very clean and spacious. Having two twin beds works great for families with grown kids. Breakfast buffet exceeded expectations...

Was a quick overnight stay before visiting the castles. Room was ground floor next to the road but it wasn't that noisy. Did find a silverfish in the bathroom.

Service staff were great!!! Super helpful and go out of the way to answer your questions with their knowlege of the local situation.

You can be lucky or unlucky with Best Western - today we were lucky! Modern hotel in older style building just on the edge of town and within easy walking distance of the shops, restaurants and rail station. Good size room with modern shower room, all in excellent condition. Staff at both the bar and reception really helpful and excellent English. Didn't eat here so cannot comment on the food.

We got assigned a suite on the 5th floor that was really spacious. There was even a sauna room, which we didn’t take advantage of. The elevator from the 4th floor to the 5th was old and needed attention. Breakfast was decent. The staff was nice and luggage storage was free of charge. The location is wonderful! The hotel is located right next to the main train station, just 100 m distance away. There is also a large convenience store just below the hotel, which open till 8:00pm. The old town and St Mang museum is within walking distance. I would recommend this hotel. The hotel is a so big if you don’t walking too much you shouldn’t request faraway from elevator 😅 The staff so kind and nice to give you advice. This hotel have a good area not faraway from train and bus station. You can get the free tickets to use public transport in the city and leave your luggage to explore the city before check-in time.

Love this place, stayed here for four nights have a magical view of the river and mountains. Staff really good too. Only thing is that the hotel dosent have a restaurant but old town is very near.

We arrived before midnight, 11:30 pm, because of our trip from the Netherlands to Italy. Very nice hotel and clean rooms. But most important: the hospitality is very, very nice. The guy that checked us in is very kind and he was very interested in us as visitors. Super nice!!

I highly recommend this hotel in Fussen. It's in a great location, a 5-minute walk from the train station. The hotel also offers free tickets for the Fussen local bus, making travel convenient. Rooms are ok. We were given an unnecessary barrier-free room, which was a good size with a massive bathroom. If it was just room quality the hotel would not score great, but what really sells it is the location (superb) and the food. Breakfast pretty standard but dinner (we ate in the hotel two of the three nights we stayed) was delicious.

We stayed 2 nights in the 2nd building,The breakfast was amazing. The hotel staff were helpful and kind. Location is perfect. However the bathroom stinks. We rented the wine cellar for our large group and everything was incredible! The food was amazing- service impeccable and the chef even came to say hi to us! I cannot recommend this place enough for large groups :)

This is a great stay, enough bed space for family of 4 person. The room are warm during the night and bath room as well. We enjoyed the bath tub after a full day activity. The parking is great at this hotel, convenient and relatively good price. The old town tourist street is right in front of the hotel. Overall a great stay.

The hotel is in a great location, convenient to the pedestrian street, with picturesque scenery nearby. There are many restaurants to choose from, including Italian restaurants, Japanese restaurants and BBQ restaurants, which are very close to the hotel. The front desk guy is very nice:)

The room curtains only have one layer of screen, and the staff told me that this is the design of a new hotel. I can only say that Germans are more open-minded. There is no kettle in the room, and the bed is very soft. The breakfast is very rich!

We had a very nice and modern room with a balcony (but unfortunately quite noisy neighbors), and the wellness area was very relaxing. The food was excellent, but unfortunately the staff in the restaurant seemed overwhelmed with the shift work, and we found the dinners there to be rather uncomfortable feedings.

We stayed here for one night and it was great. Very friendly and helpful staff, an indoor and outdoor pool, foot baths, sauna and a range of spa treatments. The dinner was amazing, 5 courses! Breakfast was a big buffet with loads of choice. We had a room on the third floor with amazing views across the lake and mountains.

Our second stay at Rübezahl. The atmosphere, the attention to detail, the staff, the food and the spa were excellent the first time. This time they were even better! The views of, and the walking in, the foothills of the Alps are tremendous. A wonderful, relaxing stay - we will return.

Das Ruebezal was an excellent experience! The food was fantastic, the staff was exceptional, and Adly the bartender is a master bartender! The rooms were excellent and you can’t beat the views. Would highly recommend especially during the winter.

I visited for four days at the beginning of November with my wife and two adults daughters. We found the hotel very comfortable, the staff very nice, and the food excellent. I highly recommend the hotel as a base for days visiting Neuschwanstein Linderhof, and Fussel. Unfortunately, our guide at Neuschwanstein was very robotic, but that was not the hotel's fault.

Magnificent night spent in this small hotel in Bavaria. We returned to the Bergruh on the way back from Lake Garda. The hotel has not changed since July 2012. Cleanliness, good breakfast, a bit expensive for the rooms. We will not return as hotel is uphill and not easy as it gets older.
