The room is clean and sanitary, the breakfast is delicious and tasty, and you can store your luggage for free in advance. Recommended! If I come to Neuschwanstein Castle again in summer, I will still choose this place.

Maurice at the front desk was amazing. He was very helpful, friendly, and kind. With our two night stay, I felt like we made a friend in him. Breakfast was great. I would highly recommend everyone to stay here.

One of our favorite hotels in Europe. GREAT breakfast and nice spa/sauna area. Best part is it's in a beautiful part of Germany with great ski areas.

Clean and sanitary, there is a supermarket nearby, very convenient, and it is also convenient to go to Neuschwanstein Castle early the next morning~

Charming boutique hotel with excellent food and service and stunning views of the nearby scenery. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious. This was our second time staying here in 6 years and it did not disappoint

This is an amazing property nestled in the valley below Neuschwanstein castle. It’s a few mins drive to the darling town of Fussen with quaint shops and nice restaurants. Everything about the hotel is incredible…

The room we had was getting a bit old and the green carpet in the hallway is no longer up-to-date. I think the price for the room is a bit too high. The swimming pool in the hotel is spacious and clean

Abundant breakfast - long breakfast time. Hotel is located on top of a mountain, due to restricted mobility the car always had to be taken but it was not a problem for us. Room service was made on request

We spent 4 pleasant days in this hotel. Clearly it is not the newest, but it retains a pleasant rustic and mountainous side. The terrace is splendid with its view of the lake

After having visited 3 hotels on the romantic route classified 4 stars and a 3 star in Augsburg where we had very good services we were surprised when entering the room: small, old-fashioned, entrance door with key leaving something to be desired as to safety (visible screws)

I stayed for 2 nights with my sister and we found the hotel and surrounding area lovely! The location is great! Well within walking distance (10 minutes or less) to the city center and train station, it was also extremely easy to get to the immediate surrounding cities by bus

The hotel is located in a small town Füssen close (around 4 km) from the Neuschwanstein castle, on the side of a forest. The building of the hotel is like a mansion with a big garten

When you enter, you start to feel yourself like a baron. The whole mood of the place is majestic. The room we were in was tiny, but clean. There was no minibar, but a bottle of not expensive wine was prepared in the room

I loved my stay at Villa Toscana! The room was romantic and beautiful. The location feels quiet and out of the hustle and bustle of the city but is an easy walk to the town, shops, restaurants, and train station

Perfect place to stay if you are thinking about going sight seeing to the castles. Breakfast service is absolutely delicious and their wine bar has a pretty large menu with some beer as well

Sitting in a great position on the lake the hotel offers comfortable accommodation with many amenities. We stayed just one night but in good summer weather everything is perfect

Beautiful hotel, with a great location right on the lake. However, the hotel has very limited parking spaces, so we had to park on the street and pay every day

Super uncomfortable room, very hot… can’t sleep because of the heat.. no fan or aircon, very humid and very very hot🥵 pool closes at night so you can’t Cool off, but lovely location and Lovely staff, AMAZING breakfast!!

The room for 3 people is spacious, with sufficient space to open all our luggage. The staff in hotel are helpful and nice. Free breakfast buffet was provided. It is also great that the hotel has shower curtains

We got assigned a suite on the 5th floor that was really spacious. There was even a sauna room, which we didn’t take advantage of. The elevator from the 4th floor to the 5th was old and needed attention

The staff was nice and luggage storage was free of charge

The location is wonderful! Right by the Bahnhof! The room came with a Füssen city pass for each guess, meaning you can take the local transportation for free for two days

You can get the free tickets to use public transport in the city and leave your luggage to explore the city before check-in time

We used the passes for visiting the Neuschwanstein castle (Bus #78), as well as leaving Füssen (as far as Kaufbeuren is free)

We love this hotel. The rooms are beautiful, the food is tasty And of very good quality and the swimming pools and different saunas are great. Wellness in every sense of the word.

It was all just perfect. I had a wonderful room, the Service was great and every meal just delicious. The Spa area is just great and the massages very relaxing.

The rooms are large and comfortable. The hotel is well kept, and clean. You have access to a sauna and wading pool 24 hours. There is free access to washing/drying machines for clothing. Honestly, this place is great

You have a small kitchen, and everything you need to maintain for yourself. You are provided with starter kit, but just like an apartment, you are expected to get your own stuff after that

Rooms are good, and view is outstanding! But there is was only one little soap for two peoples for 3 days. I was waiting for some better service for such money. But who need soap, when you have this view

:D BTW, sport hall is located directly near sauna. You have to be really in good condition to use it

Stayed here in early June for two nights. The hotel pools are amazing, the staff is very friendly and the breakfasts are exellent. I would definately stay here again - it is the best place to stay in Schwangau, by far.

Hello everyone, I was at this clinic for three weeks in September 2025 for lumbar disc surgery

Everything is in a perfect Bavarian harmony, all the Staff personnel will provide help when necessary and they will also in suggesting the best place to visit, all around there are lot of, accordind to the time available

This was the second time, for me and my wife, to stay at Hotel Maximilian. We have enjoed once more the relaxing atmosphere, the Spa facilities and the wouderfull ospitality of Christina and her Team

The hotel is very clean and nice. The staff is friendly and helpfully. The wellness is amazing, clean and your relax is guarantee. Recomended!✌🔛🔝🔝🔝🇩🇪

We arrived late in the afternoon and the staff recognize me as soon as I talk to her. They have private parking place and offer free parking. The room is clean and comfort to stay

Ameron hotel offer a real premium experience to its guest. The building of the hotel is beautifully decorated and renovated with a lot of care to details (like fresh flowers on the table in front of main entrance)

The apartment is new and clean. The beds are very comfortable and the linen and the towels are of high quality. The kitchen is small but very well equipped

But now more accurate, rooms are of the size completely ok (about 5x7m), massive furniture remind you that it is located in rural Bavaria. In the room even a small fridge is a CD player and a Mikado game to find

Sockets are plentiful! Beds squeaky not;) The bathroom is large unfortunately without bath, breakfast is served according to your requests and preferences. The way to the lake takes about 10-13min by car

Do you know that at the grandma's home? That's how it lives here. It has a certain flair it is not perfect

We visited the restaurant only and didn’t feel particularly welcome. The waiter was rather patronizing and somewhat cold. Food and drinks were pretty alright. No credit card payment. Wouldn’t visit a second time.

We were very lucky to stay here. Biker friendly, great room with a balcony and we booked straight away for dinner. Good honest German cooking, delicious. Close enough to go and see the castle and have lunch out. Fab

Such a wonderful experience! We were able to book a reservation the same day on a "spur of the moment trip", the price was very reasonable, and we had a great room with a balcony view of the mountains

Alpchalet Schwanstein Located in the small town of Halfrech, it is a family hotel in a log cabin, a ten-minute drive from Neuschwanstein Castle. The surrounding scenery is pleasant. The proprietress is actually from Wuxi

I didn't expect to meet a fellow countryman in this remote area of ​​Germany (Wuxi is also considered a fellow countryman). It was a pleasant conversation! Communication was easy. The hotel is self-service check-in

When you arrive, you will find an envelope with your name on it, which contains keys and bus coupons, etc. There is a form at the front desk to fill in the breakfast time, which is very convenient

Also, if you have time to check out the restaurant connected to the hotel for dinner, it is cozy and delicious! All in all, we loved Alpchalet Schwanstein and would feel happy to recommend it to future travelers!

Hotel was right in the city centre, room was cosy and Kid simply love it. Managed to catch snow in the walking street. Reception was warma and helpful. Accomodate our garage arrangment without prior information.

There are many restaurants to choose from, including Italian restaurants, Japanese restaurants and BBQ restaurants, which are very close to the hotel. The front desk guy is very nice:)

The room curtains only have one layer of screen, and the staff told me that this is the design of a new hotel. I can only say that Germans are more open-minded. There is no kettle in the room, and the bed is very soft

The staff was very welcoming and friendly with thier traditional clothes. They have a very nice wooden and spacious veranda were you can have breakfast or just enjoy the impressive view on to the lake

All the things from a traditional alpine house. The wellness looked like it was built a week before, so clean and zen. The jacuzzi was enormous and can easily hold 8 people

Parking is very convenient in front of the door. The rooms are very nice and clean, equipped with comfortable beds. Overall: can't find a beter hotel in the whole region

We arrived and were able to sit and enjoy a fresh coffee in the restaurant, a wonderful break from our long car ride. The rooms both had balconies where we could see Neuschwanstein Castle across the lake

The hotel has a free parking lot, the surrounding environment of the town is very good, the waiters are very enthusiastic, and the dinner and breakfast are delicious. is the bed is a bit small.

We had a nice dinner downtown to cap off the evening, the restaurant was unremarkable. We woke the next morning and enjoyed a very good buffet at the hotel restaurant, included with our room

If I may suggest one thing, it would be to improve the lighting in the room,especially in the bathroom which felt a bit dark for my liking. The highlight was the restaurant and the food
