Large clean rooms many with balconies nicely located not too far from Fussen center and a good departure point for many interesting local hiking routes. Breakfast is very good. Bicycles available to rent.

The hotel is in a very peaceful location even if the town centre can be reached in few mins by car or by foot. Rooms are big with balcony where to relax. Delicious breakfast served at the restaurant. Recommended.

This is a beautiful hotel tucked away behind the city. Speaking with the hotel staff that easily spoke English they explained the incredible history of the hotel. When I came down for breakfast in the morning they had a table set and reserved for me. This was a wonderful experience.

It's a pretty place in a calm area. Although the rooms were a little small it was still a good experience. The hotel is not far from Neuschwanstein Castle if you're going by car.

We arrived very late here. Came in and an elderly man greeted us. Told us everyone had gone and asked our names. He handed us our room key and said not to worry about paperwork and the usual until next day and welcomed us to the hotel. We immediately felt at home. The rooms are very clean and the personnel is so friendly, I loved the dinner night. Every Wednesday they have a special Eastern European (Croatian) menu where they serve great warm meat plates. Parking is free and sauna only 3€/person. Great place to stay if you are in the area to visit the castle. They provide discounts to the tours!

Super friendly, attentive, and helpful staff. The single room was surprisingly cool, considering it was under the roof, didn't have air-conditioning, and the weather was very hot during my visit. Loved Füssen and loved this hotel. Location couldn't be better. Best included breakfast I've ever had. Manager was congenial and very helpful. A lot of locals were in the restaurant as well as hotel guests and the staff was great.

What a wonderful place! My family and I stayed at this location for one night. It was incredibly comfortable. Everything was super clean. The room was spacious. The bathroom seemed large compared to the other German hotels we stayed in. The beds were very comfortable. We had a balcony overlooking a courtyard. Excellent hotel in a cute little town! Cobble stone streets and people on bikes abound. The room we stayed in was spacious, clean, and quiet. The balcony overlooks some other houses out the back. The breakfast provided was delicious there was a large variety of food. Overall a great visit!

The location of the hotel is very nice. All of the staff were very friendly. The food is excellent. The panorama terrace offers a very nice view and delicious cocktails. The room we had was getting a bit old and the green carpet in the hallway is no longer up-to-date. I think the price for the room is a bit too high. The swimming pool in the hotel is spacious and clean.

Perfect location for getting around Fussen. €7 cab ride from train station. Good distance to city center for a walk. Great breakfast too.

I enjoyed my stay. The hotel is located about 10-15 minutes walk from the town center and train station. I just walked it as the weather was nice but taking the bus or a taxi would be sensible in bad weather or if you have a lot of luggage. Nice dinner and breakfast. AC would have been nice as it got warm in the afternoon but not necessary.

We had the most amazing experience in the hotel and the use of the sauna. All the staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant and the food was amasing and fantastic. Thank you verymuch I will defenotely come back. We bought the blueberry jam...Fabulous

Helmerhof is always an enjoyable place to eat dinner or just have cake and coffee. The food is excellent and the service very friendly. You have a beautiful view of the mountains from the winter garden.

Staff was very friendly, spa area was very relaxing. A great breakfast was included. We arrived around 3pm on a Sunday and kitchen was closed until 530. so finding something to eat was difficult. They did have coffee, cake and pastries even when kitchen was closed though.

I had a beef fillet in the picture. It was really good and specially the sauce for the fillet was absolutely wonderful. Vegetable salad is also good and they have draft beers from brewery. Highly recommand. The lady and server were kind and friendly. Thanks for a great dinner.

Excellent Accommadation We had a fantastic, relaxing and very comfortable 5 night 4 day stay at Gastehaus Schoeberl Christmas 2013. It was a home away from home experience. On arrival we received a lovely Schoeberl welcome . The rooms are warm comfortable and very very clean. We could make tea, coffee or herbal tea with biscuits whenever we wanted. Ok this is by far one of the most beautiful, peaceful hotels in the most lovely locations you can find. We are in our mid fifties and perhaps it’s fair to say that this is perhaps the average age for people staying here. That is not a bad thing, but once you come down for breakfast you will see. So we were here for 6 nights, having a large room at the back of the hotel, with a lovely large balcony...

Nice hotel with friendly hotel staffs, location wise is okay just 10 minutes walking distance to Füssen central; The best part is off course the breakfast! See the picture and really decent! It awakes me that how wonderful and delightful a breakfast could bring to you form the beginning of a day! I will think about to treat myself and my wife better by straying with a good breakfast everyday!

Love everything about it. We slept so well there. The room was quite and dark. Love the snack options. The breakfast was delicious. Very nice location by the lake. The view was gorgeous.

Very decent hotel, it's clean and spacious. We lived in the penthouse, the ceiling is in acceptable height. And the view is superb, you can look at the lake and the park from the room or baloney. Kitchen is fully equipped and we made dinner with groceries bought from supermarket. Very friendly staffs, and the breakfast is well-made with warm heart... Definitely will come again.

Small in size but big on service. Comfortable rooms and located just 15 minutes from Füssen and the castles. Good breakfast. The parking is a challenge because it is right on the main road a very tight spaces. Ask for a room off the highway if you sleep with an open window.

Book this hotel. The rooms are beautiful, the views are stunning, the staff is amazing, and I cannot say enough nice things about this hotel. Not to mention it is in one of the most beautiful places on the planet. It's a short drive, cab or bus ride to the castles and even that is great. Thank you for your hospitality, if I ever go back to Germany, I will definitely stay here again.

I stayed at this hotel a while ago. Currently looking at another trip in this area once we can travel and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. The staff, owner and accommodation were perfect in a beautifully picturesque village. Highly recommended.

Great customer service. Large and clean room with fantastic location. Parking was easy the area is located in beautiful area next to the little late for a walk and jog. I would definitely stay here again when traveling to Germany. I travel a lot especially overseas, and by far this is the best hotel experience I've ever had. Good location, just a 10 min walk to old town. The water in the shower wasn't working well, the hotel also looks and feels kinda dated, but it is at an affordable price.

Really a good place where to stay to visit the Bavarian castles. The family room was clean and huge. We got the half board service and the dinner gave us the possibility to taste some typical dishes and healthy food. The swimming pool was small but clean and saunas restoting. An acktiv hotel where recharge your batteries and relax.

Great hotel just outside if Fussen. Room are well sized, comfy and clean. The staff are quite helpful and friendly. Walk into the aldstat is 10 minutes alongside the riverway.

Good roons, excelent service. Honest breakfast. The only down is that the room can take 2 persons only.

Fantastic views, and everything was adequate. I especially liked the roll down zombie defense window protection on the windows. Yes, the is really a roll down metal shutter on each of the windows in our room. I have no idea why, but I have never felt safer sleeping in a hotel. The only negative thing I can think of is the shower. There was a hand held shower head, but the only mounting place for it...

Nice location, Apartment was very clean and it perfectly fits for a couple who are on a trip.

We got a room in the ground floor. The room is very nice and clean. Ground floor has no Lake view. They have a sauna in the basement that guest operate themselves. Small but totally does the job. The concept is self check in which works well. There is parking and also a charging station.

The hotel is located at a beautiful location next to the lake. The view is beautiful. The room had a balcony so you can enjoy the view while sipping coffee. Though I saw small cockroaches in my room so I reduced one star but I had a good time there.

The rooms were spacious and nice. The balcony view was breath taking. The problems i had are 1. the parking was in the street which was very tight already. 2. Also since they didn't have AC, opening the windows brought some insects. 3. The shower room door had a plastic part didn't block the water from being leaked. So every time we took a shower, the water leaked out onto the bathroom floor...
