The location of the hotel is very nice. All of the staff were very friendly. The food is excellent. The panorama terrace offers a very nice view and delicious cocktails. The room we had was getting a bit old and the green carpet in the hallway is no longer up-to-date. I think the price for the room is a bit too high. The swimming pool in the hotel is spacious and clean.

The room condition is good and I like that I can use the sauna. It's also good for walking around. It's about a 5-10 minute walk from Fussen Station, so it's within walking distance. The breakfast is also delicious.

This is the hotel I stayed at in Fussen during my Romantic Road trip. Everything about this hotel was so good that I regretted staying only one night. The surrounding scenery is beautiful, and you can see the waterfall within a 10-minute walk. The room was large, the bathroom was clean, and the breakfast was delicious. If I get the chance, I would like to stay for more than two nights again.

This was one of our favorite hotels on our European trip. Just what we wanted for German style and ambience. Right near the Austrian border, and the feet of Germany’s highest mountain (just under 3 km) the “Zugspitse”, this chalet is a magnificent place to stay. It’s located at the outer edge of the town, about 5 minutes walk to the center, which to me is a plus because of the quietness it offers. Modern hotel in older style building just on the edge of town and within easy walking distance of the shops, restaurants and rail station. Rooms are ok. We were given an unnecessary barrier-free room, which was a good size with a massive bathroom. If it was just room quality the hotel would not score great, but what really sells it is the location (superb) and the food. Breakfast pretty standard but dinner (we ate in the hotel two of the three nights we stayed) was delicious.

I visited for four days at the beginning of November with my wife and two adults daughters. We found the hotel very comfortable, the staff very nice, and the food excellent. I highly recommend the hotel as a base for days visiting Neuschwanstein Linderhof, and Fussel. Unfortunately, our guide at Neuschwanstein was very robotic, but that was not the hotel's fault.

You have a small kitchen, and everything you need to maintain for yourself. You are provided with starter kit, but just like an apartment, you are expected to get your own stuff after that. Rooms are good, and view is outstanding! But there is was only one little soap for two peoples for 3 days. I was waiting for some better service for such money. But who need soap, when you have this view. :D BTW, sport hall is located directly near sauna. You have to be really in good condition to use it.

Lovely, charming Swiss style chalet accommodation with well appointed rooms and lake view. A word of caution, this accommodation is not within walking distance of Fussen! great restaurants are nearby.
