Beautiful hotel with great service. The breakfast buffet has a chocolate fountain and champagne! The variety is more like a cruise ship breakfast. My room is large, comfortable and the A/C works like magic. I slept well. The location is walking distance to many shops and restaurants since it’s centrally located in the town. So glad we made this choice!

We loved staying at the Schlosskrone. It's luxurious but in a nice low key way. Our family has a really great experience at this hotel and highly recommend it. It's the only one that we've stayed at that had a mini fridge to keep our beverages cold. The beds are very comfortable and after two nights of sleeping on them, the backache I had for the previous week was gone. The room was large by European standards and very clean. Typically, I reserve a double room for the space and comfort but decided to try the single room. It's definitely smaller but had all the amenities of the other rooms. It had a window that opened for fresh air as well as a/c for warmer days. The bathroom was, again, small for the single room. The hotel is in a very peaceful location even if the town centre can be reached in few mins by car or by foot. Rooms are big with balcony where to relax. Delicious breakfast served at the restaurant. Recommended.

This is a beautiful hotel tucked away behind the city. Speaking with the hotel staff that easily spoke English they explained the incredible history of the hotel. When I came down for breakfast in the morning they had a table set and reserved for me. This was a wonderful experience.

Great hotel in this tidy tourist town. Friendly advice from staff and excellent breakfast—maybe the best we have had at a hotel. No styrofoam plates with processed food that so many Americans are used to for hotel fare. Buffet and made to order items and a giant tub of Nutella.

The location is perfect. It's located in a middle of Fussen. We spent 3 nights here. The breakfast is varied and delicious. They offer hot plates, salmon, salad and dessert. Love it so much!

We just had the best breakfast on the planet! Seriously! Our room was very nice with a few flaws. The carpeting is very old, hard as tile with lots of stains and wear marks. There is a three inch step by the door that is easy to trip over. The water temperature of the small shower varies. We had to park in a dirt lot a block away. This is our second 2 nights stay. We choose it mainly because of the location. Omg! I found the best dish ever. If I weren’t leaving Füssen tomorrow, I’d be back for every meal. I got the Flamkuchen and my hubby got the Currywurst. Both were terrific! The rooms are very clean and the personnel is so friendly, I loved the dinner night. Every Wednesday they have a special Eastern European (Croatian) menu where they serve great warm meat plates. Parking is free and sauna only 3€/person. Great place to stay if you are in the area to visit the castle. They provide discounts to the tours!

very nice family run hotel on a lakeside

Bring that its off season, that is the reason why I rated service 4 stars. I am very sure that it would be 5 stars when fully operational. The location is ideal being only less than 5 minutes from Hohenshwangau and Neushwanstein castles. The rooms are very comfortable and in the corridor has a vending machine for beers and hot water kettles are available as well with coffee and tea complimentary.

This hotel is in the perfect location! Just a short drive or about a 20 minute walk to the castles. All of the employees were very kind. The food was delicious. We especially loved the beautiful dining room with views of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau.

I killed two silverfish in my unit upon arrival. There is no air con, there is just an air cooling system which may or may not work. The water drainage in my shower took a long time to drain, so the tiles in the whole washroom ended up being wet. Fortunately, it dried overnight. The set dinner was better than I expected with generous portions.

The staff here was the most helpful I have ever experienced and I travel all year long for work. I had an issue with my car rental and the manager, along with a couple receptionist, helped to sort things out and my family and I were able to continue on our trip with minimal delays. Convenient location to access Füssen. Good parking if you plan on taking your vehicle up to the nearby castles. The modern rooms were very nice and well appointed. They have lots of room and a small sitting area. The large windows are nice too. The restaurants looked delicious, but we found another option nearby.

We had a very nice and modern room with a balcony (but unfortunately quite noisy neighbors), and the wellness area was very relaxing. The food was excellent, but unfortunately the staff in the restaurant seemed overwhelmed with the shift work, and we found the dinners there to be rather uncomfortable feedings.

We stayed here for one night and it was great. Very friendly and helpful staff, an indoor and outdoor pool, foot baths, sauna and a range of spa treatments. The dinner was amazing, 5 courses! We really enjoyed. We were there with two kids and it was a great experience for everyone. You can easily walk to the lake and the natural swimming pool at the guest house is just amazing. Restaurants can also be easily reached on foot.

Beautiful and comfortable rooms. From rooms 5a and 6a, in the second house, a beautiful panorama opens up, probably the best in this hotel. Stock up on a bottle of wine for dinner and coffee in the morning. Plan your romantic stay in this beautiful place. It is very convenient to get to the Bavarian castles by car in about 20 minutes. I enjoyed my stay. The hotel is located about 10-15 minutes walk from the town center and train station. I just walked it as the weather was nice but taking the bus or a taxi would be sensible in bad weather or if you have a lot of luggage. Nice dinner and breakfast. AC would have been nice as it got warm in the afternoon but not necessary.
