DORMERO Hotel Hannover

we took a standard double room for 350 Euros per night, the room was very small, no more than 30cm of space on the sides of the bed, a small desk, no wardrobe except a couple of hangers. physically there was no room for the suitcases anywhere other than leaving them on the floor and climbing over them to go to the bathroom. We asked for a slightly larger room, at least to manage changes. At reception they told us that the rooms are all the same and that they were fully booked. we invited the receptionist to check the measurements of the room, she came up and replied, the room is really small, we'll change it tomorrow. The next morning there is no water to take a shower. At the reception we pointed out the promised room change and that there was no water in the bathroom. In the evening they tell us that they won't change the room because it is the same as the others and there was no point in changing them. plus they didn't have other rooms and that the problem was only our problem, there was a bed for 2 people so we had to make it work, even calling me a liar because they had the room checked and the water in the afternoon was ok. After several attempts (maybe I raised my voice a little) another receptionist comes out and warns me to call the police. I agree, I say, call her willingly. He replies that they would have agreed with the hotel because they are German and I am not. I convince the other receptionist to check the room, she goes up and comes back saying the room is really small, I'll change it for you. Terrible service, rude and unwilling to accommodate customer requests. and finally I repeat, for 350 Euros per night!

Quirky hotel with an on-site parking lot and a few free beverages in the rooms. Breakfast quality is meh for the price.

Our room's air conditioner did not seem to function and the desk wasn't very helpful about it. Really unpleasant on the hot days we were there and it was hard to sleep because of the heat.

Late check out time was nice.

Good location and clean enough rooms but that’s about all I can say. Air conditioning did not work, shower head was broken and had almost no pressure, staff was not very helpful and seemed understaffed. There was also a bottle of soap from a previous guest left in the shower. You get what you pay for so didn’t expected much.

Hotel is on a good location, but in the room the figurator was not working well, in 3 days I stayed they did not clean the room, Wifi was problem I could not use as long I stayed there. The towels were not smelling fresh. No slippers, no tea or coffee possibility in the room. You could take from downstairs next to reception, but coffee and hot water were finished and not refulled. I am very disappointed. Next time I will NOT book for this hotel. I dont recommend it.
