Great hotel! Very clean, the windows are very well insulated and block 99% of the noise from the street, even the sound of the tram could barely be heard! The aircon works very well and keeps the room very comfortable. The beds are large and comfy, the room was clean. You can opt to have cleaning done less often and get a free drink voucher also. We had a really great time here! The staff is super helpful and friendly. Breakfast is delicious. Our room was sufficiently big and cozy. During the evenings, the street performers outside would play their instruments, and we could hear the beautiful music in our room, which was magical. There's no elevator though, so try to reduce the luggage.

The place is nice, with two tram. lines close that can bring you to the downtown. The room was good, with nice bed. The main problems were that the room was cleaned only once in two weeks (what is not very relevant for just one weekend). Before arriving make sure that they send you the entrance code and the number of the room. The codification system of the key was also anoying.

I only booked this hotel because I had read online that the ac was functional and you could adjust it here by yourself which is true, but the AC/Klima does not work here. Good for the railway. A trek on foot to Aldstadt but there is tram 22 at the bridge. If you have money and eat meat, have dinner at Heidi’s two blocks up. Good old-fashioned German hotel directly on Bismarckplatz at one end of the pedestrian zone. Didn't eat breakfast in the hotel...too expensive, and there are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby with more reasonable prices. And Heidelberg is a gem! Spared the destruction of WWII, and even with the woes of mass tourism, it's still a place where people live, work, go to school and enjoy life.

Be EXTREMELY CAREFUL when using your credit card. My family had lunch there yesterday (13/08/2021). I payed moth my credit card. And that same card was charged for 5€ in the evening by the restaurant. But we were 20km from there. It was resolved the next day. The waiter had decided to add a 5€ tip to our bill... And they charged it after the fact. Lesson learned. I now keep my Revolut card frozen...

Ver comfy appartment next to the city centre (just 3 minutes from Bismarckplatz). They have a little kitchen and fridge in the room. The only thing I would change is that I would put a table to have properly breakfast/lunch/dinner instead of the desktop. Our room was simply beautiful. It is very clean.
