Very spacious, clean & comfortable rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast and convenient private parking option. It is a little far to walk to old town. Public transportation or taxi would be needed. If you drive your car to old town, you need to arrive by 10am to get parking spaces in P11, P12 and P13.

Good old-fashioned German hotel directly on Bismarckplatz at one end of the pedestrian zone. Didn't eat breakfast in the hotel...too expensive, and there are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby with more reasonable prices. And Heidelberg is a gem! Spared the destruction of WWII, and even with the woes of mass tourism, it's still a place where people live, work, go to school and enjoy life.

It was good for my business trip. But if you want to enjoy the stay this hotel is not the place. The room had just the basic. No fridge or coffee maker or water boiler. No iron or anything extra that can make it fun to stay in.

This is a cute little place that is tucked in an area with lots of places to go and find food. The front desk people were awesome and helpful. The rooms were clean, and the hotel looks updated. The only downside is that from desk staff is not there past 10 P.M., so if you need anything then you'll have to wait until morning. Great hotel! Very clean, the windows are very well insulated and block 99% of the noise from the street, even the sound of the tram could barely be heard! The aircon works very well and keeps the room very comfortable. The beds are large and comfy, the room was clean. You can opt to have cleaning done less often and get a free drink voucher also. Modern and clean room, but quite small for a family room. But it worked fine in the end. Friendly and helpfull staff. Parking lot just around the corner with elevator connection to the hotel, which helps a lot to unload the car. A little bit far (30min walk) from the city center main visit points, but just one bus away (just take the 33 in front of the hotel to the Castle). I recommend it.

Wonderful location right on the river facing the old bridge. Room was nice and large, well appointed. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. No AC but we didn't need it, just kept the windows open at night.

I loved this small hotel in the West Stadt, very clean and close to the train station and the city center. The neighborhood where the hotel is located is full of beautiful buildings, lots of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets, easy to eat and shop.

Be EXTREMELY CAREFUL when using your credit card. My family had lunch there yesterday (13/08/2021). I payed moth my credit card. And that same card was charged for 5€ in the evening by the restaurant. But we were 20km from there. It was resolved the next day. The waiter had decided to add a 5€ tip to our bill... And they charged it after the fact. Lesson learned. I now keep my Revolut card frozen...

The restaurant is classic one, with typical food and of course, beer. the staff was friendly and it is OK to bring noisy kids here.
