Booking on the hotel's own website is really cheaper than booking on booking by 5 euros per day, fantastic! I loved this small hotel in the West Stadt, very clean and close to the train station and the city center. The neighborhood where the hotel is located is full of beautiful buildings, lots of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets, easy to eat and shop.

Location is great and the place is comfortable for a short stay. This is the second time I stay there, unfortunately the cleaning of the bathroom did not improve after last time. Price is ok and the contactless check-in worked without problems.

Room was good standard, clean etc. One staff member gave us map and advised on attractions to see. Hotel is on a hill, near the castle, about 30min stroll to city centre. Breakfast had good choice of food, but for other meals you'll need to go into town, by car, taxi or foot. Aside from looking for day meals, it was very good experience.

I had a good stay. It is pretty much outside town, but only a ten minutes Taxi ride gets you downtown.

I love the place , I stayed one night with friends and it was very clean and the people was very helpful and friendly , very near the castle walking , I will love to come back again .

Be EXTREMELY CAREFUL when using your credit card. My family had lunch there yesterday (13/08/2021). I payed moth my credit card. And that same card was charged for 5€ in the evening by the restaurant. But we were 20km from there. It was resolved the next day. The waiter had decided to add a 5€ tip to our bill... And they charged it after the fact. Lesson learned. I now keep my Revolut card frozen...

The restaurant is classic one, with typical food and of course, beer. the staff was friendly and it is OK to bring noisy kids here.

This place saved us after we our previously booked apartment was canceled last minute. Their rate for 4 adults was very reasonable. The food was good, and the included breakfast was awesome. The hotel its in the heart of town in a historic building with lots of charm. Highly recommend!

The room was very spacious, the bed very comfortable, the wellness facilities wonderful.

I had an excellent stay and it all started with the dashing young front desk attendant, Zack. Not only was his customer service impeccable, he was dressed the the nines. If I was to recommend a hotel, I would recommend this one if only to chat with Zach again. This man deserves a raise!!

A bit dated hotel, and not as central as the name suggests. Expect a twenty minute walk to the old town.

On the plus side : conveniently located and friendly staff - downside : poor sound isolation (you hear everything)- very old equipment - the elevator comes straight out of the twilight zone -

It is a very good place to stay if you plan to take a trip to Heidelberg. Its just a stroll down to the Necker River strand and the old city, Corn Market area. The rooms are very comfortable and breakfast is sumptuous.

Older hotel has all the amenities and is comfortable. I’ve stayed several times and will continue to go back. While there is not much for a view, it is convenient to nice restaurant choices. It is also within walking distance to the train station and river (maybe 15 min for either). The service is always good and the restaurant is decent if you prefer not to leave the hotel.

Rooms are standard size. They fit either a king or two doubles. Desk and TV and minibar. Small table. Window onto the central space or out into the city. Bathrooms outfitted with red granite. Standard closet space with vault and iron plus board. Staff is super nice and helpful. Pool on bottom floor.

Great hotel and service, very comfortable meeting space, good food, staff very attentive and polite. There is a business center of two computers and a colour MFP to work with a very brake Internet and some restrictions (printing no more than 8 liters at once, work in shell-superstructure, Claudia German, etc.).

The staff was amazing!! They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and fun! The beds and bedding were perfect too. I wish we could have stayed longer.

My wife and I had a wonderful time. The hotel doesn’t get more rich with German culture than this. There’s a parking garage about 40 yards away, and the hotel is right in the middle of countless shops and restaurants. We loved Heidelberg and zum Ritter, and hope to be back one day.

This hotel is beautiful inside and out. It is centrally located in the historic area which made it perfect for our stay. The staff was very nice and the morning breakfast buffet was great. Our room was very comfortable.

Very historic and beautiful, it was a pleasure to stay there. GREAT location in the old city. Food is outstanding...No parking at the hotel but you can park a few minutes away for 8 euro a day. We'll worth the extra rates. The exterior is being touched up just now.

This is a magnificient hotel. We stayed two nights in the junior suite and it was delightful. The interior is very classic and historically impressive. You barely find anything comparable in Germany. If you are looking for an exceptional hotel to visit, this is the place to be.

I rarely post reviews at all, but my stay at Europäischer Hof was easily the best time away I had in years. The whole atmophere was cordial and literally every staff member I had the privilege to meet granted me a sincere and honest feeling of being appreciated. On top of that the (standard) room was immaculate and the food absolutely worthy of the 5 stars rating. The breakfast options leave no wishes...

This is the best hotel my wife and I have ever stayed at. I booked it for my wife’s birthday and requested a bottle of champagne in the room when we arrived. Even though we arrived later than expected because of traffic it was obvious the hotel staff pays attention to detail because the bottle was in fresh ice and they even had a large piece of cake with Happy Birthday spelled out on the plate in chocolate...

Really nice hotel very well located. Very clean rooms and hotel in general with very good facilities. We got a renovated room for 4 which was perfect. Only "but"(and the reason for not giving 5 stars) are the mattresses and pillows...I have tried better in other hotels but in any case it's a highly recommended one and we will repeat if visiting Heidelberg again. Good and central business hotel close to downtown Heidelberg. I especially liked that the rooms have a hardwood floor and no carpet. Also there is a real shower with a glass door/wall and no bathtub with a jucky shower curtain. Beds and covers were very good too. Also Coffee maker in the room is always good. Didn't try the breakfast or restaurant.

Although the staff was friendly and very helpful, we did get some conflicting answers in regards to what costs what, what is free and so on. At the same time the night we arrived, it was understaffed so it was hard to get everything done in a timely manner. But the staff that was there was very helpful and kind, just overwhelmed.

A truly splendid stay with wonderful staff. Our dinner was fantastic and breakfast each morning truly memorable. My only small criticism is having paper napkins at breakfast time. This feast deserves better.

Cute, quirky hotel with unique rooms and a good restaurant but most importantly: excellent staff. The welcome was exceptionally warm and forthcoming, and our requests during the stay were met with kindness and understanding, and quickly realised. Having stayed here for a whole week, it was easy to feel homely in "Dehli". Is the room slightly outdated? Maybe. But I prefer comfort and kindness...

I had an amazing stay in one of the boutique suites. My friends and I had two suites so I could check out the other room aswell. Both very clean, stylish atmosphere. All in all quiet but close to all things you could need in a city like Heidelberg, so it's a good place to stay if you desire both excitement and serenety, all at once.

Beautiful rooms, excellent design and service. They do everything to make you feel at home. A short 5 minute bike ride to great cafes, restaurants and the old town. Look forward to returning again very soon to this very special hotel in Heidelberg.

We had a very pleasant short stay at this Premier Inn hotel. Very clean and modern rooms. The double bed was very comfortable. Across the road there is a tram and bus station for the city centre. Great value for money, absolutely recommended.

Great hotel! Very clean, the windows are very well insulated and block 99% of the noise from the street, even the sound of the tram could barely be heard! The aircon works very well and keeps the room very comfortable. The beds are large and comfy, the room was clean. You can opt to have cleaning done less often and get a free drink voucher also. One of the best in Germany.

Modern and clean room, but quite small for a family room. But it worked fine in the end. Friendly and helpfull staff. Parking lot just around the corner with elevator connection to the hotel, which helps a lot to unload the car. A little bit far (30min walk) from the city center main visit points, but just one bus away (just take the 33 in front of the hotel to the Castle). I recommend it.

The location is very good, within walking distance of "everything" yet one block off any street with traffic or bars so it was quite. The bottom floor with reception and breakfast area was very nice (and the breakfast was brilliant). -the row was not as four star, it was small, felt a bit dated and there was as smell of sewage in the bathroom. We originally book a one-night stay in one quad room and a single bed in a dorm room, since there were 5 of us. When we got there, we decided to extend our stay by one more night. They only charge the quad room for 2 nights, the single bed was left with 1 night only. Fast forward to the next night and they could not find a bed for one of my friends, so they put him in our quad room, free of charge...
